I had Cynthia and my husband had Valentina. From start to finish, the experience was great. While waiting for our room to be ready, we were able to take off our shoes and relax in slippers. They only have one bathroom, though, so be sure to give yourself extra time to use it before your appointment. The massage beds were heated, and both of our massages were clearly personalized with unique techniques. I didn't even realize I had knots in my chest, and the way she worked on my shoulder blades was unreal. We both agreed this was one of the best massages we've had in the past year. The only and only reason for the third star is the facial and the wonderful girl who did it if not, this would be bumped down to one star. As someone mentioned in another review this was completely underwhelming and I'm still kicking myself for actually paying the price I paid for my massage. My massage was probably the worst I've ever received. There was no communication at all when I let the therapist know I had a prior surgery (I mentioned it three times) I felt dismissed and as if I wasn't being listened to and instead of recommending to me what would be best, it was pure silence. I even mentioned "you're the expert what do you recommend?" I said maybe a hot stone when there was no answer and his response was "I don't do that". The energy was definitely odd and off. I chose my therapist based on what the site said and recommendation from the person making appointments so I entrusted Aura but they failed. It was just passive movements along my back and neck & not relaxing at all. All I could think of the whole entire 60 mins was when the heck the time would be up so I could get the hell out of there & thanking the stars I didn't pick the 90 mins. I truly felt like the therapist did not want to be there AT ALL. As soon as it was up they said "you can get dressed" and the moment I stepped out a credit card machine was shoved in my face. It frankly was the most unpleasant and uncomfortable experience I have ever had in a spa. I did enjoy my facial with my esthetician. The foot treatment was nice, but I have to say that I was terribly disappointed in the manicure. My technician was very kind, but perhaps new and untrained, I'm not sure. She put a lovely color on my nails (at 10:00 am) for a wedding I was attending later that day. By 3:00 pm my nails were still not dry and they were completely destroyed. I called the salon and they gave me $10 back ( I had paid $100- $80 for two treatments and $20 for a tip). I had to run to town to find nail remover at the drug store before the wedding. read more

I had a deep tissue massage. Michael is fantastic. Not only did he do great deep tissue and find trigger points, but also included hot stone as well. Very reasonably priced 145$ for 90 minutes especially for what the surrounding resorts had listed for price which was 350-450$ for 90 minutes. The spa itself is small, but was actually quiet. I was in the first room off the main room. They do pedicures in the main room and have their waiting area. I was hesitant with the previous reviews but I am glad I ignored them. I didn't hear anything from the waiting area, and was surrounded by peace and quite. Music was relaxing. I travel quite a bit and I have had massages at some very swanky resorts in the past- this was in the top two if not the best I've had. The Expecting Mother's Massage was so lovely. My husband got the therapeutic massage. We were so sad when our 60 minutes was up because it was absolutely soothing and delightful. The therapist listened to all my needs and concerns. I don't like my feet to be touched too much and she totally respected that. I was in town visiting and wanted to get a facial but wasn't sure where to go. I read the reviews of Aura and gave it a try. I was not disappointed. Everyone from the receptionist to the aesthetician was very friendly and I was the only client in the spa when I got my facial. Everything was very clean and sanitary, you can tell they take safety precautions seriously. I hadn't had a facial for over a year bc of Covid concerns, now that I'm vaccinated I felt I could give it a try and I'm so glad I did. The prices are reasonable and the technique and skill was great. The facial was wonderfully relaxing as was the shoulder and head massage. Need to get those muscles right after almost killing yourself on the mountains? Then go to Aura and see Beth! I had this trip to PC planned for a good month and a half and when I was looking for things to do the morning after my snowboard lesson (shout out to PC Mountain) I realized that I might need a chance to unwind after running around like a mad man all weekend. Enter Aura Spa and Boutique. I first sent an email asking for availability and received a response within an hour asking what kinds of services I was looking for and the time I wanted to book. Giddy, I chose to call during my lunch break and immediately scheduled a fully body, 1 hour massage for that Sunday after my lesson. I was pleased to enter a modern, light, and airy atmosphere with some Kenny G playing in the background (or whoever was setting the mood at the moment...it was a mood though for real). The process began with me entering a small back room with the whole aromatherapy thing going on, Beth in a very gentle and relaxed tone made me aware I could choose my comfort level as far as clothing or lack thereof for the session. Keep in mind that I've never done this before but I should've done this waaaay sooner. Relaxed with my head facing down I received the treatment of a lifetime to all parts that were aching (they also do a great job identifying what you're having problems with, are you having chronic issues or just a little tension etc) and applying the right amount of pressure to relax me. After the session I almost fell asleep on site, straight up, I was that relaxed. For the next at least 3 hours I was walking on air through old town PC and couldn't have been happier with the $100 I spent. Affordable, effective, and excellent customer service. Bravo! read more

Update: The owner called me personally to discuss some of the issues I had while there. She was very kind and outgoing. I appreciate her reaching out and being open to my opinions. She made things right with me and that says a lot about this business. So for that I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 3. I think it's important people know this is a natural spa. Hence why they don't use gel products. I was not aware of this going in. Not usually one to leave a bad review but I left feeling so underwhelmed!! This is Main Street Park City so the places here are top notch....... Just not this place. I took my mother in law here while she was in town visiting. We were seated in the waiting room, as that is where they provide the pedicure service. Not in spa chair, just a wooden chair with a small cushion. The tech brought out a large metal salad bowl filled with water to soak my feet in. Unfortunately my water was cold within minutes. I kept getting goosebumps cause it was so chilly. We got the Ultimate Foot Experience which is advertised as "This treatment is beyond any other foot treatment you've had." Hardly!! No hot towels, no hot stone massage, not really much of a massage at all!! The tech kept filing my skin as she was trying to file my nail. Why not use a drill? Anyways, on to the polish. THEY DO NOT OFFER ANY GEL!!! This was so disappointing to me. So I opted for the quick dry polish. I will attach a picture if my polish so you can see how well the quick dry stuff worked. Also, they had me set my feet up on the edge of a stool that kept sliding around so the whole time I was just fighting to hold my legs up and hold still. Not relaxing at all. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Just go to the salon with the massage chair, the jets in the foot bath, the hot towels, the incredible massages and unlimited gel polish colors. There's the good and the bad To start off on a positive note the good is I think the Facial is very thorough and the products they use are really good. The bad is the spa is in an old building upstairs on Main Street and because of that it's not very big or spa like and while you are trying to have a relaxing visit you can hear all the people walking around and the floors creaking so you don't really get the spa feel if that's what you are looking for. I had my first experience at Aura this weekend and as part of my facial I was supposed to get a foot massage according to the website but it never happened. I mentioned it while paying just to be sure I understood correctly. Although I was told this would be addressed with the technician no compensation was offered so I feel like I didn't get what I fully paid for. As soon as my technician left the room she sat down with a nail client which makes me wonder if she rushed through skipping the foot massage to get to the next appt. So like I said there is the good and the bad both with the salon and with my first experience. But for the price I will probably try some other spa's to feel like I really got what I paid for.
