I went here based off of the great reviews they had so I could get my eyebrows done for my upcoming birthday. I forgot the lady's name I had. She had just moved there from the Midwest I believe. She told me one price for my eyebrows when she was doing them and then it was 8.00 more when I went to check out because she had the price wrong. Then, when I was on my way home, I noticed that there was still wax on a few places on my eyebrows. I won't be visiting this business again. read more

Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful space, respectful. Computer system is not great, because girls often have a hard time managing payments, and pre-purchased packages. The wax does not always get all the hair, but it's the wax product used and not the staff. They try very hard, and even use twitters to get everything. Otherwise, a great place. read more

I wascoming here regularly and was mildly satisfied. I finally stopped going after Trinity "lifed" as she called it the skin off of my eyebrows as she waxed them. She had the nerve to accuse me of using a skin moisturizer that would create the skin from leaving my face! Which was ridiculous. I have never had this problem before and I'm not a novice at waxing. What was worse is she actually charged me for the eyebrow wax and I had red burned looking skin under my eyebrows for a week! Until new skin grew back. The other issue was every waxer here would accuse me of giving myself ingrown hairs. They would have to spend extra time fixing my ingrown hairs from my Brazillian wax. I finally found a new girl at a different facility and she told me she has been getting a large amount of women escaping from the Lunch Box with this mysterious "ingrown hair" phenomenon. Since going to my new place I haven't had one ingrown hair down below and my eyebrows are not missing any skin! Please beware and stay away from this facility! read more

After reading rave reviews about this place, I decided to give it a try for my brows. Jasmine seems to get great reviews for brows so I asked for her but she wasn't available so I took whomever was. I forget her name. I don't think the lady I saw normally does brows as the only mirror in the room was breast height and down. She complained about my thin brows as if I'd grown them that way just to spite her, laughed when I asked if she could still manage to get some shape into them, ignored my request to get those few little hairs that are on the bridge of my nose, didn't even use the tweezers for that final little tidy up. I wasn't offered a mirror and ended up having to bend over and squint into the abovementioned mirror after she had already bolted out of the room. I have a badly injured back so bending over isn't really convenient so I bent my knees and took a very quick look. When I got home and had a chance to really look at my brows they were terrible - one brow was very different from the other in both thickness and shape and I had to use tweezers myself to finish the job. My brows may be a bit thin but they are far from awful so there is not a case to be made for being unable to get them evenly shaped and sized without removing them entirely. I will note that everything looked very clean, the place itself was rather super looking with a minimalist modern appearance, and I was offered a bottled water. Really disappointing experience from somewhere with such super reviews. I don't mind spending money for a great service but I honestly have had better jobs done for $10 at nail salons. read more

I moved to the area a few months ago, sad to leave my eyebrow & other waxing gurus back in Denver. I tried to do my due diligence in researching salons, and found that Lunchbox consistently had the best reviews. I decided to give it a shot, beginning with my eyebrows. I was apprehensive because, hey, we all know eyebrows can make or break a face. I went with Jasmine and could not have had a better experience. She lined up the shape I asked for and checked with me before waxing - a rarity, it seems. My brows have never looked this good. Very happy with the shape and how it fits my face. And she's so sweet and funny to boot! Next up: Brazilian. Turns out that when you live near the beach you kind of need to maintain "down there". I had Gabrielle for my initial appointment and couldn't be happier. Fastest, most efficient Brazilian I've ever had! Seriously, the best in the land! Ha! She kept the environment respectful and courteous and even provided some light-hearted humor. Each experience I've had with her has been nothing short of amazing. She's not only great at what she does, but very knowledgable (in terms of after-care, etc), but not in the preachy sales-person way....which is refreshing. I will start by saying I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Nevada; I moved to Florida a year ago, and have been searching for great people to take care of my beauty needs. I am very particular about who I allow to work on me, and once I find someone good I don't ever let them go! I have found my new esthetician/wax person -- Shannon! My first visit with Shannon was about seven weeks ago; I came in to get a few things done, a Brazilian, leg wax, and eyebrows. When I came into LunchBOX she greeted me warmly, had me fill out some paperwork, and then escorted me back into the wax room. Shannon thoroughly explained everything that would happen throughout my visit; I had had my eyebrows and legs waxed before, but never a Brazilian. I appreciated Shannon's honesty and knowledge, as well as her cleanliness and positive attitude. Afterwards, she took the time to educate me on the aftercare, and set me up with some fabulous products. I highly recommend the bodyBUFF and bodyWHIP :) The whole visit was incredibly pleasant, professional, and left me feeling confident and beautiful. I have been going to lunchbox for about a year now. The atmosphere is excellent and I have recommended people there as service is excellent as well. He is a summary of my experience so far: First time I went was greeted by Jasmine - she's excellent and we talked the entire time. She was funny getting all my stubborn hairs while completing my Brazilian wax. She explained aftercare to me and didn't try to sell anything to me. Being such excellent service I rebooked with her again but when arrived was given someone else as she had an "emergency" wasn't there. I seen Gabrielle- who was quick and to the point no small talk. She placed some type of cream again for a Brazilian wax which irritated my skin. In addition I had several hairs still there! Keep in mind I have done Brazilian waxes several times before. Needless to say I didn't book with her again. And when recommending I tell others to avoid her. One of my friends complained about the same thing to me as well. My other visit I have scheduled with Trinity since Jasmine's name was never present. Trinity is also nice and talks with you. I would rebook with her again. I took a break from lunchbox since it's a different person always and recent booked with Shannon. She was also nice and friendly. I spoke to her about my frustrations with constant new people on the schedule and she promised she will be here for awhile. In summary the best waxologist to me was Jasmine however she no longer works there. There are other good ones too but I would avoid Gabriella. Regardless for the environment and friendly staff I have to give this place 5stars. So much so I drive an hour just to get waxed! I just wish there was one in my city. read more

Because I have yet to find a consistent threader in the area I decided to try waxing. I found LunchBox on Yelp and booked an appointment online with Mariah. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Mariah, nice music was playing, & it appeared very clean. She took me back & it took maybe 5 minutes to clean-up my "lady-stache". It was less painful than threading although not as clean (meaning I still had little hairs left behind). For my 1st waxing experience it was very pleasant. Today I called in to reschedule an appt bc it was that time of month. The receptionist stated as long as the appt was within 6 weeks from previous visit I should be eligible for my free wax. I receive a call an hour before appt from Melissa saying my service would be regular price because the original appt was changed. I informed her that I was not informed of this info by the waxist or the front desk. Melissa called back after speaking to her manager who stated it was written in a chart so they would not honor the free service. Ok. No problem ma'am. I'll cancel and I will not be returning. Poor communication and mediocre Brazilians. I was disappointed but it's fine I'll go to European wax. I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore because what a disappointment. I came here about 4 times for a brazilian wax with Shannon. I had heard such good things about them that I had to give it a try, first time was great, painless and fast. Second time on the other hand, she had missed spots that were very obvious on my behind, I had a friend point it out when we were at the beach... talk about embarrassment there. I went back the next day and Shannon cleaned that up charging me 10$... whatever. My last straw was here; I had an appointment and was 3 minutes late, she was rushing which I understand, I had paid for the full brazilian 75$ because I wanted my inner thighs and back thighs waxed also. Everything was great and I would always tip her super well, with waxing I usually try to tip 28-30% so I did. I get home and I realize that the back of my thigh was not waxed where I had asked, right under your bottom and I had also realized I had air on my butt cheeks!!! Now I was furious since this was the SECOND time and I had paid 75$ + tips here. So I called her the next day; her excuse? "You were late and that's extra to get the top" I am Brazilian and I know how brazilians work... you are suppose to wax EVERYTHING on the front and back. But accordingly to Shannon you're suppose to leave hair on top of the cheeks. Anyway, I made my appointment with her but the next day got a call that she no longer works there... So they asked me if I'd like to book it with someone else, I explained them my problem, whoever I talk to on the phone, I believe it was Trinity? Did not sound one bit interested.. I asked for Gabby since I've heard she is the best... Trinity told me she would talk to Gabby and give me a call back but I NEVER heard from them. I honestly regret spending every single dime here, especially the tips I left. I will honestly never go back. They don't care for their customers as much as they should, especially since it's a waxing place. read more

I went in for the first time at Lunchbox! I had gotten waxed before, but not using soft wax. Cheyenne explained the technique and the benefits of soft wax, and on a pain scale of 1/10, hard wax is a 6.5 and soft wax is a 3. Such a big difference! The rooms are so clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the whole experience is comfortable. One of my favorite parts is that it didn't feel rushed.
