I went in for the first time at Lunchbox! I had gotten waxed before, but not using soft wax. Cheyenne explained the technique and the benefits of soft wax, and on a pain scale of 1/10, hard wax is a 6.5 and soft wax is a 3. Such a big difference! The rooms are so clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the whole experience is comfortable. One of my favorite parts is that it didn't feel rushed. I had previously had a horrible Brazilian wax at another salon. I called and got in with Allison. I had such an amazing experience. She made me feel so comfortable and it looked 1 million times better. It was so much less painful, and so quick. I will never go anywhere else to get waxed! Well, it's simple, Shannon, who gave me a Brazilian yesterday as if she's never waxed before left more than half the hair still on my area, although she had no issues taking the $10 tip I gave her before realizing what a terrible job she did. Great experience! I called and the phone was answered after the 2nd ring, very impressive. Receptionist was very kind & accommodating. She was able to fit me in at the LAST minute. When I arrived I was welcomed with a smile from Everyone at the front desk. Facility was spotless! They also offer yummy mints for your enjoyment at the desk :) My esthetician was Shannon. She was such a pleasure to work with. Not only was she was very FAST but very skilled at her craft & did not leave ONE hair insight. She had great conversation, made me feel very comfortable the entire time. The place is modern, clean and the ladies that do the waxing are professional and very pleasant and I love being able to book online instead of having to call in each time. I just had a bad experience with a Brazilian where it left a lot of hair behind and I had to get it re-done less than a week later. Only giving 4 stars because I called on Thursday and left a message to make an appointment on Saturday but never got a call back. however I stopped in on Saturday asking to hopefully get an appointment for a Brazilian and underarms and the receptionist said i might only be able to do one or the other. Luckily Shannon was right there and said she'd be able to do both just an hour later. I came back an hour later and everyone was very nice and accommodating. Shannon was very friendly and held a conversation with me the whole time and I was in and out in 20 minutes with little to no pain and it was actually quite relaxing. I was looking at various salons in Sarasota when deciding which place to get waxed. I wanted to be sure I was going to a business that would make me feel comfortable. After reading plenty of reviews and looking at the website, I settled on Lunchbox Wax. Let me tell you this place is fabulous. The interior is very modern and clean. This was my first time ever getting a Brazilian and I felt completely comfortable during such a personal service. Gabrielle was my waxing guru and she made sure she told me everything she was doing to prep my skin and explained why. She was very outgoing which helped in the process. Not only was the customer service outstanding, but the Brazilian only took 10 minutes! After Gabrielle finished up she gave me the aftercare instructions so I would have the best results possible. Not the friendliest place. Which is odd..considering that's all I read was how friendly they were. It appeared clean. When I got home I noticed one eyebrow longer than the other. Wasn't the best eyebrow wax I've had done, more like average, or close to, at home, do- it-yourself waxing. For a lot less and same results you can do it at your nail salon for $10 instead of $20 here. Just don't see why I would be paying $10 more for a wax here especially when you don't feel welcome and the results are average to meh... read more

THE only place to go for a wax in Sarasota. I have been a client for over a year and each time has been a pleasant experience, well as much as a wax experience can be. The wax is always the perfect temperature, no chance of scalding. I have had waxing done by both Trinity and Rachel both of which were personable, professional and very good at what they do. read more

I highly recommend Jasmine. She totally re-shaped my eyebrows and made them perfect! I lost some hair after I had my child and she has manage to help me shape them so well that I have to use very little brow powder to fill in and they still look natural. She's great! read more
