He knew it well because it turns out he used to live in my building on Chicago's northside! His communication is great -- he answered immediately when I called. And we scheduled the appointment for just a few days later. He also called me the morning of the appointment to let me know he'd be "12 minutes late!" :O SO many workers are always late...I really appreciate that especially since it wasn't even majorly late. He wore a mask and removed his boots without me asking. He was friendly and personable. He listened to my issues and then showed me the simple fixes that I can do myself in the future. He basically said "let me show you this so you don't have to call me to come out in the middle of the night..." This is a guy that knows customer service and isn't at all about trying to get more money out of you. He knows the importance of word of mouth and quality work. He is great and VERY fairly priced. I highly recommend him without hesitation.

We picked a 15 seer two stage furnace. We look forward to the five year ( twice per season) maintenance contract. Nice to think that there is reliability in the new a/c and furnace. Discussed options on Wednesday and they installed it on Friday. Efficient crew that was very polite and knowledgeable of what was needed. Certainly one of the companies that you should talk to when looking to do HVAC work.

If a two-stage furnace was wired or set up incorrectly and only ever ran in single-stage mode, the homeowner probably missed out on: Comfort benefits - two-stage furnaces are designed to run on low most of the time, giving more even heating and fewer temperature swings. Efficiency - the furnace likely used more gas and electricity than necessary. Longevity - constant high-stage operation puts more wear on components than normal two-stage cycling. It would worth having a qualified HVAC tech inspect the wiring, thermostat settings, and control board configuration.
