14 year old furnace went out 2 days before a day with a high of 12. They came out, assessed, told us our options and installed a new furnace all within 36 hours. They left no trace and alway cleaned up their materials! Alex B and Zack were the two installer we had and they are the dream team! Holly M (Director of Customer Engagment) caught wind that I was going to build and reached out to ask if Kent could provide a HVAC bid, and I'm so glad she did! She put me in contact with Bob and he made the bid process so easy. I had a finalized/signed bid in less than a week and we were able to negotiate a few other items that we wanted! I reached out to Bob via telephone with questions and he was prompt with his response. I found out later that he was actually on vacation when he responded! Holly also hand delivered information packets about the equipment we would be getting installed. The customer service is top-notch! Kent was my favorite company to work with during the new build. I was able to be on site while all the trades were there at the same time, and the Kent team was always the first to greet me when I arrived! We got the runaround from the other trades about when they would start on our home, but as soon as we gave Kent the green light, they showed up and started exactly when they said they would. This was the first time my contractor worked with Kent and he was so impressed. I was unable to be at the initial walk-through, so Holly and Alex made a special trip back out to the house to FaceTime me and make sure I was informed of the plan! They walked through every room, gave me their feedback/suggestions, and answered all my questions. I was confident that I was in good hands! The walk-through was on a Friday where they laid everything out then Alex made the ductwork on Monday and they were off to the races on Tuesday. I can't thank the install team enough, they were working in below freezing temperatures to get the job done! Kent really is a well oiled machine! The new owners, Stacy and Glenn know exactly what they're doing! My elderly parents were struggling to recover from CoVID - it was quite the challenge. Kevin reached out to the owner and president, Allen, explaining the circumstances. Yesterday my husband called Kent out to diagnose an issue with our very old a/c. The gentleman who came to replace the part for us was very quick and pleasant and had us up and running in no time--which is why I gave them any stars at all. Since my baby was inside sleeping, I handed my husband my credit card and had him take care of the transaction. The repair man did his thing, provided us with a receipt and left. A day later, a woman is calling my husband out of the blue telling him that their guy wrote down the wrong security number from my card and could they have the correct one. Okay, fair enough. I fished out my card and read it off to my husband who relayed it to the person on the phone. Then she says she needs the entire credit card number. No explanation as to why, and that seemed shady. What? -_- You mean to say your guy wrote ALL the numbers wrong??? Sorry, no. We're not giving a credit card number out over the phone to someone who called US. We've never done business with this company until a day ago. We don't know them from Adam. My husband told them to send their guy back out to the house and we'd give the card number in person. After this call, my husband fishes out the receipt from our files and we do a comparison of all the numbers from my card. The guy wrote the wrong expiration year. No biggie. Accidents happen. My husband calls to let them know and gets a salty "Why didn't you just tell her that?" from a new person on the phone. Wow. That's some customer service you guys have there. Oh, and it gets better. While my husband was calling them back, someone--Stacey--left a nasty message, threatening to take legal action against him for not paying his bill and threatening to report him for using a credit card with my maiden name on it--a name I still use, since I hyphenate. First off, their guy made the mistake and he was also THERE when I handed my card to my husband to use. So, actually, *I* used *my* credit card. And second, who in their right mind, in the era of phone/internet scams and identity theft would be okay with giving info like that without any explanation other than "Oops" to someone who calls THEM? If you don't mind being bullied, threatened, treated like dirt for the company's mistakes, go ahead and give them a shot. Never using this company again. Horrible. read more

We had an AC problem on days when the temp was in the 90's. The office was very professional and scheduled us an appointment for the next day. A service tech was out the next morning to fix the problem plus provide a few tips on maintenance. The fee was reasonable and the service was excellent. read more

I am so upset with this horrible company!!!! They are overpriced thieves! They charged my 89 year old friend, on a fixed income, $403.00 to put a basic, no frills thermostat in her home! (could of bought the same one at Menards for $44.00) When I called them to question her bill they claimed it was because it was on Sunday. I don't understand how people like this sleep at night. Owners still does not want to fix the hole in my wall his tech left by replacing a large thermostat with a tiny one. It was also installed crooked. Unfortunately, I was not present when the tech came out. My fiancée who knows nothing about thermostats was present. Tech was suppose to call me directly but called fiancée instead when he arrived and diagnosed the problem. Tech was rude but owner takes his side on version of events that unfolded between us!! read more

Terrible. If you want to be charged a high fixed cost for a five minute visit that doesn't solve your problem, call Kent. And it's not like they diagnosed the problem in five minutes, just looked around and told me some options for diagnosing it myself and suggested I call the company that installed the AC unit. I knew it didn't solve my problem, but I didn't realize just how sub-par the service was until I got another AC company to come out. They were able to diagnose the problem, get it running fine, and they took the time to check out the system and explain things to me. read more

After 3 years my top of the line Lennox furnace broke down and these guys wanted 300 dollars to replace a part that was covered by warranty I won't be calling them again or buying a Lennox anytime soon read more

As luck would have it, we had a furnace problem on what was the first really cold morning of the season. It was 66 degrees in the house, and I could hear the furnace cycling but not staying fired up. I phoned Kent around 8:30am, and Brandon showed up at our house not more than an hour later. Brandon diagnosed/fixed the problem (needed cleaning), and offered some good information for the future in the process. It wasn't add-on salesmanship fluff - it was knowledge that I needed and I appreciated him passing along. Kent installed our furnace several ago and we have used them exclusively ever since.
