Jose Castrejon and his son William work this shop (Castrejon 714 534 8311), which used to be Radiator Depot. They also advertise in Craigslist as mobile mechanic. I brought the car to Jose at Radiator Depot on Westminster Ave., gave him the OEM Overflow Valve and gasket to replace. After a couple delays and reschedules, he finally hooked up the smoke machine for a leak test. He said leak is from the Evap Canister. I bought a couple brand-new canister from Japan, $600-675 each, but they did not look like the original part. Had to pay expensive freight to return them. Finally bought an exact used canister in eBay. Brought the car to Jose a couple times. He was way too busy so he kept telling me to come back. then he agreed to do it, kept the car for over a month while I was on vacation. I came back, he did not fix it, told me to move the car. Someone had keyed the paint on driver side from front to back. I had to call a mobile mechanic to install the used canister, $200 labor for 2 hours. He hooked up the major hoses but missed out on 3 others, but car still had Evap fault. I called but he ghosted me. I had to jack car up, remove left rear wheel a few times, fishing under the car sight unseen, found and hooked up 2 unhooked hoses, but evap fault persisted. The only component left not replaced was the OverFlow Valve on top of the gas tank. I went over all Evap hoses. Any leaky hoses were unlikely as the car is nice, clean, no rust, no dirt. Cops and CHP were hassling me about the expired tag. It costed me a lot of money, time and aggravation. Lexus dealer wanted $160 for diagnostic, applied to any repair. I suspected dealer would charge 4 hours labor or $680 to drop the gas tank plus parts. Finally on recommendation from a guy in the Lexus club I took the risk with an ex Lexus dealer tech, Son at Dynamic Auto Services in Fountain Valley, CA. He specializes in Lexus and Toyota, has diagnostic system to turn on and off Evap components to check leaks. In 15 minutes he confirmed a very small leak at the OverFlow Valve. Son charged a very reasonable fee to drop the gas tank and install a new OverFlow valve, may be 50% less than Dealer, fixed the problem in 1 day, showed me the almost invisible crack on top of the old valve. Car passed smog next day. Jose Castrejon and his son William are just slap shot, back yard mechanics. They are so busy that they cannot do any complex diagnostics, cannot be relied on for high-end, luxury cars. Also I will never risk anything with mobile mechanics, who are unskilled, unreliable and more expensive than experienced and reputable shops.

Got my AC checked here today since the last two times I recharged my AC it completely runs out the following day? So I came here and can't say I'm too happy..they couldn't find the leak didn't get much of an explanation and I still got charged 25 bucks which isn't a lot but I was basically told that everything needs to be replaced to be 100% sure the A/C works which of course that's not what I came for so maybe someone else will have better luck here than I did the diagnostic $25 is the only Pro here I guess but I'm back where I started in regards to my AC & now $25 bucks short..

Be kind,Help others avoid waisted time and money. Stay away!

!scammers!! Got referred from across the street! This place has some good reviews, but it was before change of ownership!! Cannot be more dis satisfied one star is more than jose deserves !!!!WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE JOSE WILL Scam YOU, he got me for !!!!!250$ and it's still overheating, he is insisting it is my head gasket immediately after he rudely turned me away purposely stalling on working on My car to tell me we are closed I was there for 5 hours working on other peoples cars that came after me. I did not say anything because I had hope he knew what he was doing but he left my car on for an 30 for no reason....and 10 minutes of driving my car it heated again I went immediately back he told me come back another day were closed after insisting and swearing up and down its the HEAD GASKET I went to go get the head gasket tested because he said it's "forsure the head gasket" but does not have the tools to test it even though it's part of the cooling system and even if he says he can do the job he somehow doesn't have the tools to test it in a "professional shop"it was not the head gasket. Also he did not do the job correctly when I had asked for a coolant flush and now there is air inside of the system. Jose, then saw that my thermostat hose was cold but didn't check until I offered to pay for the flush! I gave him the benefit of the doubt but even still the thermostat is NOT WORKING ! When I came back to the shop not even 10 min after, I confronted JOSE about the thermostat but JOSE was quick to turn his back on me left me standing and sat to finish his beer knowing what he did was a botched job. Not the way to treat your customer!!! I originally came here beca Of the reviews but was not aware they changed ownership. PLEASE UNLESS YOU LIKE BURNING MONEY OR PAYING FOR FOR YOU TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE HAPPEN to your vehicle DONT GO TO THIS SCAMER JOSE!. I never usually post but hopefully I save you from bad treatment. Although the receptionist was super nice.

The first girl who helped me asked all the necessary questions and directed me to section 8 to find the gas cap. However, I couldn't find it and felt a bit annoyed and frustrated. Determined to help me, Genesis came to my rescue. She went above and beyond, not only finding the model and number of my truck but also searching online for a similar one. Despite the challenges, she didn't give up and kept trying until we found the right gas cap. Genesis's dedication and professionalism are truly commendable. She embodies excellent customer service and should be a role model for the entire team. Her positive attitude and genuine love for her job are evident in her constant smiles and friendly demeanor. I genuinely appreciate Genesis's patience and assistance. She made a significant difference in my experience, and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of exceptional customer service.

But after I explained I only needed the cooling system checked, they decided to squeeze me in even though they were busy. I didn't mind coming back another day, but they insisted on taking the car. I specifically asked for a leak down test to properly confirm whether my Civic had a blown head gasket. Over the phone I was quoted $80 for the diagnosis, but when I arrived I was told it would be $130. Later they did lower it back to $80, which I appreciated. After about an hour, I got a call saying the head gasket was bad. Come to find out, they never even performed the leak down test I specifically requested. They only performed a combustion test, which I had already done myself before bringing the car in and it still didn't fully confirm anything. So overall it felt like a waste of time and money for me. On top of that, coolant was spilled around my engine bay and wasn't cleaned up afterward. The office also had a lot of mosquitoes inside, which wasn't the best experience while waiting. In my opinion, this seems more like a basic maintenance shop for things like oil changes rather than detailed diagnostic work
