I've been going to this shop since I was in college, and I'm 28 now, so they've been taking care of my cars thru my teenage self into adulthood. They worked on my Honda Civic for years until I eventually got my new car. They're trustworthy, reliable, and always provide quality work. Whenever I've had an issue, like when my AC stopped working, they made sure it was fixed properly. They've also always recommended repairs or maintenance when needed, usually before they became bigger problems. Over these past years, they've done my oil changes, replaced my windshield wipers, checked my engine, and helped with various other car issues. The shop is clean, there's seating in the waiting area, and the customer service is always great. We have been coming to this place since it first opened from Irvine. Now that he's busy he doesn't treat his customers who's been coming from the beginning with value. We called to see if he can take us to get a oil change before we drove 25 miles from Irvine to Garden Grove to get the oil change. And he said yes now that we're there he made my son wait a an hour and then told him leave it here and maybe I can get to it. I don't think this is the way to treat your customers has been coming to you from the beginning of your business. I will never come to this auto shop which I did not respect the owner. and by the way, how do you have a 19 year wait five hours in the area that he does not know and the weather of 90° with no air conditioning at this facility or 30 minutes away from where we live read more

I can't say they are 'quick' since they don't provide appointments from what I was told. So be prepared to wait around. It's the one drawback, but I get it. This place shares a wall with 7-eleven and a quick 5 minute walk to Costco, McDonalds, Del Taco, Taco Bell. Plenty of options to hang out and kill time! This will now be my go-to oil change place. Forget Groupons (none of them even hit this price. And if they do, they charge weird disposal fees and stuff). I'll be back! What a gem! read more

Nissan wanted to charge me 1k for a coolant flush and brake fluid exchange. James and his team did the job in 2 hours for only $250. I'm satisfied, I later that day went to Nissan for an oil change. Which Nissan claimed to lie and say my coolant failed which is a bold lie lol. This was the nicest and easiest experience I have ever had with an auto shop! My brother is watching my Subaru CrossTrek as I am cross the country and so many issues came up at once. We initially had it checked at the dealership and they quoted us nearly $3000 for all repairs so I reached out to different shops. This morning I went to James auto I had an issue with my headlamps and come to find out It was a problem that I created myself. The technician at James auto looked at it and it took him two minutes to explain to me what was wrong and how I should do things in the future. I brought my 2010 Genesis Sedan in for alignment and check engine. While waiting I saw the alignment guy hammering near the left front axle. At time of paying I was told the lower control arm need to be replaced and it would cost $500 for after market plus labor. I didn't think much and left. The few days later my wife said the car make noises at the front. I went under and found fresh hammer mark at the left lower control arm. I should have gone back to confront them. I bought 2 genuine control arms replace myself. I also noticed the same guy was hammering on the next vehicle on the alignment rack. Came in for an alignment on my civic and left with steering wheel noticeably crooked. The tech that worked on it, test drove it and somehow didn't see the problem before returning the car.
