I come here a handful of times to get my motor oil change and Amir n his 2 mechanics have always done a great job. I always tend to bring my own oil filter and motor oil as I am picky. But Amir always takes great care of me and has not problem that I bring in my own parts for an oil change. This last time that I was there he had hired a 3rd employee. I've seen him do work in the office and garage don't know exactly what his role is there but isn't the best remembering instructions. I came in told him what I needed and right off the bat he I should have known that it wasn't going to be good day. He was all over the place trying to fix a Tesla for body and trying to tend with me. Then he tried to change the price on the oil change even after he looked at my history(maintenance logs). But said he would honor the 34.50 price that I had previously paid on other occasions. Once they were done with my vehicle again, I had to argue with the guy because I guess he forgot that he said that he would honor the price. He only this one time he would change the price back to 34.50 and next time it would 40. I was going to let it be till I checked my trunk and notice that my oil and filter had not been used. The next day I tried calling Amir to talk to him about what happened. But the guy that I had an issue with answered the phone and said Amir was not available and that Amir had left his phone in the office. I left a message and the said Amir would call me back. It has now been over 2 weeks and I haven't heard back. I know Amir is busy but I'm sure that his employee never gave him the message. It's just frustrating trying to do business with a person doesn't have the greatest memory. He gets to the point, and tries to identify all the possible issues my car might have. On some of the issues, he recommended me to wait it out as it's not to the point of replacement yet, which I truly appreciate this honest suggestion. Typically, when I dropped off my car at the dealer, they looked at the recommended mileage services, ran a few tests and then tried to suggest me to replace things that are not what the car actually needs - NOT this place. Amir would drive it around and test it out to see if there are any issue with the engine (the sound the car makes, whether it feels off alignment or not); and then have the rest of the tests done at his shop. This thorough service is what I'm looking for in a mechanic. My 2018 Tesla Model 3 got like FRIED by a charging station. I initially went to Tesla themselves, but their quotes were absolutely outrageous - I don't know what I was expecting, but to say the least, I was shocked. OC Hybrid on the other hand had extremely fair pricing, they were up front and transparent about their estimations (both in diagnostics and price), kept me up to speed, sent me videos to show what was damaged and how, walked me through their plan and honestly just went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy and satisfied customer - Amir and Adrian were amazing! Extremely happy with the service I received from the team (Amir & Adrian) at OC Hybrid Tech; they were responsive, friendly, and quick. They also have two sweet cats that welcome you upon your visit ( Lady Wolf and Yoda)! I came in for a brake inspection & service because I noticed my breaks were starting to squeak. After giving them a call, I was informed that there would be a $79 inspection fee that would get applied to my total cost for service. After having my brakes inspected, I was told the measurements my brakes were sitting at and decided to move forward with getting them serviced. They ordered the parts and I was able to get my service completed the same day. Despite how busy they were, they were able to get my car done in 3 hours. Amir was very helpful in answering the questions I had and Adrian provided me with my invoice that clearly outlined the cost of the products which I really appreciated. I came in to replace the headlights of my 2016 Toyota Prius, and got schooled by the owner telling me that the replacement is not necessary. He then took our buffer and freely buffed my headlight to pristine condition in five minutes. I have never felt so dumb in my life. This situation is where I am completely dumbfounded, because the owner Amir took out a buffer and buffed away all the fog on my headlight which I thought was on the inside of the headlight assembly. Is honesty effectively save me near $450. I mean, he could've just replaced it I would not have known the difference except for the $450, parts and labor. It is rare to find honest auto mechanic shops these days. I believe I just found the shop where I'm going to take my Toyota Prius starting from now on.
