Great baked goods, delicious coffee, and a perfect atmosphere for work/studying/meetings

I went in for lunch and got the turkey cranberry and snickers mocha to drink. The sandwich came with a side of chips or pasta salad. I opted for chips, which were the Food Should Taste Good blue corn tortilla variety. The sandwich was HUGE. The bread was all freshly made, and the sandwich was delicious. There were a ton of bread options too, if you just wanted to buy bread to go. The mocha was very very good, loaded with whipped cream. They also have a drive-thru. Located within walking distance of 4 hotels. Clean, with friendly staff. Will definitely be back in next time I'm in Manhattan! read more

This place is really good, I had a double espresso with a jalapeño and cheese hot pocket, it was great.

If you wanna spend 5-star price and get 1-star service and food, go to Radina's. They are so "perfect" that cannot heat the breakfast burrito just fine. The potatoes in there tastes like they are leftovers. Servers are very rude at the bakehouse as well. read more

I love our local coffee shop. Great food. Great beverages. Great service. Located downtown. This simply is just a wonderful place.

I go to the one on the KSU campus. Everyone is very friendly and laid back. My favorite thing to get there is the tomato Gouda soup! My friends rave about their sandwiches also. I love their beverages. The only thing I would complain about is the price of their drinks. I find their chai tea lattes to be expensive at $5, but it is well worth the price. read more

To say the least, my husband and I aren't too familiar with coffee other than black and creamer, so when we came in we were excited to hear about what options they had (like a pourover or their recommendations ect) but the girls rushed us and they didn't seem friendly. We have visited twice and haven't found a drink we love, but the food is amazing and you can see the bakers working through the glass. My husbands favorite is the burritos! read more

Radina's is one of my favorite places to work. Friendly and helpful people, decent coffee and espresso. The Bakehouse location has harshly lit decor during the day (bright daylight, dark cafe) and uncomfortable seating, though, so I generally prefer the Claflin location. read more

A slice of sophistication in a college town, with a great atmosphere. I always enjoy meeting folks here for a cappuccino or lunch. Or picking up a loaf of fresh baked bread. Or some croissants or a massive cinnamon roll on the weekend.... From what I've sampled, it is the best place in Manhattan for high-quality pastries and breads. I've tried just about everything on the menu, and most of it is good. Their breads are freshly baked (daughter loves all the breads), and the selection is fine. The coffees and teas are good. Their sandwiches are excellent, not your typical deli-type but real artisan sandwiches with interesting, fresh ingredients that are are worth paying good money to eat. So why not 5 stars? It's a bit on the pricey side, and while I am thankful that Radina's is here, it does not knock my cliched socks off. I like the food and atmosphere and location, and am always happy to go there, but something is missing. Not sure what that is. Maybe it's because I get the sense that Radina's is trying to be German, French, Italian, English and hip American all at the same time, and that's a really tough thing to pull off? How does one decide how to make, say, a scone, let alone a cappuccino or a coffee, as these are 5 different styles of preparation? That said, it's good, and definitely meets a need. The bakery items are delectable, but they will quit making sandwiches in the evening if they think they will not be able to sell the rest of the loaf of bread, so get your sandwiches early, or make sure to order yours on a roll! read more

A great place to grab a quick coffee or hot cocoa (best with Rumchata). We don't stop here as often because my girlfriend likes chocolate chai and they always put coffee in it. Their bakery is amazing however and I take my mom there whenever she comes to visit. read more

Worst brownie EVER! Was like a piece of chalk. Schlotzsky's makes a better one. Lemon tart and coffee were okay.

Was recommended to come here while I was in town for business. I stayed right next door at the Holiday Inn Express so it was very convenient. My first night here I got off work at around 7pm. By the time I got to Radina's they were closed. I decided to try again first thing in the morning. I noticed they also had a drive thru so since I was in a hurry to get to work I drove up, placed my order and waited behind a couple of cars in front of me. 5 minutes went by, then 10 minutes and I decided I couldn't wait any longer and exited the line. I attempted again after work since I got off earlier and rushed over there at 5:30pm. Whaddaya know... they were closed that day because they were doing some remodeling. Alright no problem, I'll attempt again in the morning. Very determined to try this place. Next morning I drove up to the drive thru, ordered a small green tea. They asked me if I wanted it hot or cold. I said hot. Then I wanted to try one of their croissants. I asked if they had any croissants. They said yes. I asked if they had a plain croissant. They said yes. I asked if I can have one. They said yes. Again there were a couple of cars in front of me. I waited quite a long time, but this time I could not exit because there was a service truck sucking something out of a man hole blocking the road. which really stunk of sulphur. I couldn't leave even if I wanted to since there was also a car behind me. Once I got to the window she told me $2.15 and was laughing at something. I asked if she got my croissant order, she then said "Oh you wanted a croissant?" and went to get me one. While handing me my croissant she asked "did you want your tea hot or cold?" Didn't we just have this conversation?? So in other words she forgot my entire order. I just bolted out of there. What a waste of time. Update Mar 21, 2016 So I was doing my expense report yesterday and noticed a couple of charges on my credit card from Radinas. How could this be since I have never received food from them? My guess is they charged me for the croissant and the tea even though I cancelled my order. Who does that? If an order is cancelled you reverse the charges immediately. Somehow they thought it would be ok to still charge me. I call that stealing. I called them up to have them reverse the charges. They said only a manager has the authority to do that and that she would be in first thing Monday morning and would call me back. I waited till 5pm Monday and I did not receive a call back. I called them again only to be told the manager will not be in until Tuesday. She also lied to me and said that the manager knows about it. I asked her how does she know? She said she just assumes that she knows. Stop lying to me. What a nightmare of an experience. I know it's only $4 and some change, but it's the principle and it's on my companies credit card and I need to account for that charge. I am not letting Radinas get free money. read more

Coming from the coffee meca and having been fortunate enough to have traveled to many lands with excellent coffee house... this was had me bummed. First the young lady got my order wrong after repeating it twice. I paid in cash and seemed to have cause her an inconvenience by doing so since she had to stomp off to another register to get some rolls of coins. Upon her return she was aggressively tossing the change rolls into the drawer. I watched in complete and utter shock. She then made my drink correctly and thanked me and apologized for getting the order wrong. The order being wrong wasn't a big deal. It happens. But the attitude and hostility that my children and I had to witness was so completely unprofessional. I'll be back for a second chance at another date but this was insane. read more

The bakehouse is addictive! In addition to the delicious coffee drinks I've always loved, now they're serving a great lunch menu (my favorite is the turkey brie) and of course tasty loaves of bread to take home, too. I had a frozen mocha, a sausage & cheddar scone and a hazelnut latte during my 2-day stay at the hotel across the street. The coffee was great & the scone was delicious! My low rating is due to customer service. There was a lot of confusion on how to get my scone heated up, I had two different gals helping me caused confusion. And honestly both gals who helped me were just rude & snobby for no reason other than I had never been there & didn't know the ropes. read more

It's a great place to go if you like black coffee and scones. Also, their roasted red pepper soup is delicious. What isn't so great about them is the lack of employee training and the inconsistency in their specialty drinks. Every time I go they mess up my order somehow, or have no idea what I mean when I ask to have my sandwich made on a different type of bread. It's a great atmosphere to sit and browse the web, or read a book. Just don't expect exceptional service. I hope that changes some day. read more

I've come here a few times and each time, the coffee hasn't been served to me very hot, the drinks I've ordered are pretty weak and too sweet, and the staff have been rude and inattentive. I'm sure the bakery items are decent, but I no longer buy coffee from this place after I took my parents here and my mom ordered a cappuccino. Even though we ordered our drinks "for here," her drink was served in a paper "to go" cup. When my mom asked if she could have her cappuccino in a real cup, the barista acted annoyed that she would request such a thing and hastily poured my mom's drink into a tall skinny coffee mug. It basically was a stein and definitely not a wide shallow cup appropriate for cappuccinos and lattes. Her drink was ruined and all of us were unimpressed with the fact that a coffee house expects patrons to drink espresso drinks that way. I now go to Sparrow's Coffee around the corner...the staff are way more friendly and the coffee is ten times better because they know how to prepare it and serve it. read more
