Unfortunately I hit traffic in several places that caused me to arrive at 1:55. I checked in with the first person and sat to wait, Several minutes later I was called to the desk and informed that I was late and there was no "table" time for me. When I said I was on time I was told no, and since they were running late there was no way to squeeze me in. She held out the office business card. I was so angry that I sat in the garage for several minutes trying to compose myself. Let's see, I was on time, but lost my appointment partly because they were late! I drove to Kaiser to complain and they were able to get me an appointment with their imaging in Salem. My biggest gripe is the lack of care for a patient and lack of customer service. She spoke to me as if she were saying they were out of chocolate ice cream. She also did nothing to try to ameliorate the issue. They have other locations, maybe one had an opening? I hope Kaiser thinks twice about sending people to this location.

The hospital is in a nice location and we appreciated having sunlight and views. But the hospital is bad with communicating with each other and with us family members, bad with paperwork and legal bureaucracy, bad with computers. I watched my brother writhing in pain for 45 minutes while a nurse couldn't get the computer to allow the next dose of pain meds to come through. Eventually a pharmacy worker came up and they stood around the computer going, "Huh! That's interesting. Never seen that before." I had to file my power of attorney documents multiple times. "Maybe you should file it again with us in person," one guy said. I had already filed it, in person, at their front desk, and even had the receipt for it. The real hands-on medical staff was focused on my brother's basic health needs to some degree, and I am thankful for the medical professionals who saved his life. The hospital SYSTEM only cared about getting my brother out of his hospital bed as soon as possible, into some other kind of care facility, even though he'd caught a new bacterial infection while in their hospital.

So now, not only has this accident impacted my health and my career, it's now impacted my credit. These people don't care about circumstances or legal process--they just want their money. Go anywhere but here for your medical imaging.

The next blunder was to request a ct scan of my chest in his report, like it had never been done before let alone the three times , as if I had not already suffered the huge radiation load at his same office of Oregon Imaging . He was obviously too lazy and stupid to notice that the findings he made were factually incorrect and the test he requested already existed in his files. If this dr was a clerk in a grocery store I might lose a few dollars but when this dr goes oops , the false negative finding KILLS PEOPLE . This is a felony error but he is the authority , what am I going to do ? Who is going to clear this up ? If experience is any indication it wont be his employer . Dieing of pain is hard enough without having to do oregon imaging's record keeping or H.R. house cleaning .
