Well, as a former employee myself, I never expected to become a patient, especially not an ICU Heart patient. It has been so long since I retired that nobody there knew me except for one nurse. I was very grateful for the level of professionalism I was accorded and the timeliness of everyone involved. Having a Triple Bypass is no picnic. However, the staff continued to assure me all along the way. All accommodations were made for my needs and that of the Mrs. Staff were exceedingly polite and very patient with us as we navigated this 'other side of the coin'. Everyone from Registration all the way to the CNA that wheelchaired me to the exit door were very nice. It is amazing how differently people come across when your life is in their hands. I am exceedingly grateful and appreciative of all the staff and care I received while I was there. Now I am home and completing recovery from my successful surgery. I feel great and look forward gratefully to the next few decades this surgery has provided me.

BUT: You can spend years ... literally years ... on a PeaceHealth waiting list in order to get a primary care provider, the kind of doctor you need for referring you to specialists. If you can even get on that list, reliably reported to be thousands of names long, you may mysteriously disappear from the list with nobody telling you. And finding a non-PeaceHealth local physician who will agree to be your primary care provider is impossible, I know from personal experience. "Not accepting new patients" are words you get used to hearing in Eugene or Springfield. Unless you've already been their patient for years and years, PeaceHealth in Eugene/Springfield can be a horror show. Thinking about moving to Eugene or Springfield? You may want to reconsider.

I would like to especially point out the Cardiac Care Unit who provided my care for 7 days after my bypass. They were all fantastic making sure I was well cared for. To them it is a job they do very well. To me they were a lifeline making my recovery bearable. Between the surgeons and nurses at McKenzie Heart Group and the nurses and doctors in the Cardiac Care Unit it is no wonder they are one of the top heart groups in the United States and only one of three in Oregon to be rated a 3 star group which is the highest rating. You will be in good hands if you let them take care of you.

Our experience with Oregon neurology associates has not been positive. Our neurologist, who I won't…read moremention, actually was in possession of a list of medication's that Insurance was known to cover. Three appointments and $1500 later this office is still attempting to schedule follow ups to make another $700 off an office visit. Each one of these office visits is an attempt to try another medication that they know full well insurance does not cover. Excessive office visits + insurance billing for meds they know aren't covered = big revenue. I would not patronize this business. Billing and tacking on excessive charges is their priority. We're Done.

April 12, 2026 I…read moremistakenly went to Oregon Neurology for help with extremely debilitating daily headaches. My expectation was that I would see a Neurologist but without any disclosure whatsoever I was only seen by a nurse. She did not help me in the slightest and I left the office totally depressed that my expectations for some results to improve my daily suffering just did not happen. Also, after filling out tons of paperwork prior to my visit and submitting it to them, I was informed by the receptionist that all my efforts in providing personal information was lost! Due to my headaches I have been slow in responding to their bill and I just received a letter from them that I owe just $60 and if I didn't pay immediately they would hire a COLLECTION AGENCY TO GO AFTER ME !!! I found this type of total disrespect for their clients to be repulsive and greedy. All I can say is find another option to deal with your neurological issues. In conclusion, this is a disreputable business that is totally failing to meet the needs of their clients. This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that in some cases a significant number of their reviews are in the POOR CATEGORY! As a community I feel it is important for all of us to Boycott Oregon Neurology Associates in order to make it clear that we will not tolerate a business that consistently abuses their patients. Let's facilitate the process of driving them out of business and leaving our community! Also Note: Oregon Neurology Associates charges a significant amount of money for their services. This means that a significant of their patients have wasted not only their own funds but also wasted the money of their insurance company without any satisfaction with the services they experienced. This is especially tragic if a particular patient is then forced to start the whole process again with another neurology company and experience further out of pocket expenses. Sincerely, Dwight A. I was expecting to speak with a medical doctor for a proper diagnosis. The staff should have given me an explanation of the procedure. What I explained should have prompted for imaging test, or at the very least a doctor's referral. However, a poorly diagnosis by the staff left me waiting in the lobby for several hours and no practical solution to my condition. The medical doctor either made a poor diagnose himself or improper due to missing information from the medical team, or maybe just some straight up foul play at hand. I had my lab work taken and that was not sufficient in determining my condition based on the symptoms I described, quite ignorant and rather reckless if any of you believe you can diagnose a person's health condition based on simple metabolic panel and urine sample. I needed an imaging test along side which they decided was unnecessary. Rather than take some preventative measures you want to wait until I'm in critical condition before taking me seriously. I suppose that is the common sick care system business model. Had I known this is the nature of your business operation I would have never signed the treatment agreement. I wouldn't have wasted my time coming here. I thought I'd be speaking with a doctor shortly after signing the treatment consent, instead I sat out in the lobby for an additional hour because the medical staff completely forgot about me. Apparently, the medical doctor had already dismissed my case. The lady checking blood pressure became concerned about me because I was sitting out there for so long, she had to go check ask the medical staff why the gentlemen has been sitting in the lobby for several hours. They finally called me to the into the back, a nurse handed me a packet of paper and basically told me to get the hell out of here! I was completely confused. I really don't know how the medical doctor had provided medical care for me, I didn't even speak with a medical doctor. A nurse wrote me a prescription for some otc medication in which I did not need, and handed some a pamphlet with worse information than a convoluted subreddit. This visit felt more like a business scam than a treatment plan!
