This office's entire staff have always been super friendly when I visited. The check-in staff are always nice to me. The reason for my review is because I would especially like to acknowledge Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie McCombs and her nurse named, Megan. I always schedule my appointments when they are in the office because, they are a phenomenal team. Recently, Stephanie had to give me some very difficult news, and she acted quickly to provide me stellar level of care and sent me to the best specialists. She has supported me in my journey to lose weight naturally, and she has even been culturally sensitive to my needs as an African American woman by referring me to physicians that look like me when necessary to address my medical needs. I have greatly appreciated her for her cultural awareness and for supporting me in this way. She and Megan have always been helpful in providing me with the best quality care when I visited the office. I would also like to mention, Dr. Lerner. I had the pleasure of being seen by him recently and he was very kind, professional, and very helpful. He reminded me of my childhood family physician, Dr. David Keller, who I was a patient of from the time I was born and for more than 20 years of my life when I lived in my hometown of Greensboro, N.C. I say, all of this to say, Dr. Lerner also made me feel at ease. It's not easy finding a good neighborhood medical/doctor's office today where you feel valued as a patient, and get good quality care where people still care for others and mean it. This office does. However, I stay at this one because of my rapport with Stephanie McCombs, NP and Megan (Nurse), and because I know they truly care about their patients. It just shows in how they have cared for me. I just want to thank their entire staff and office team for their medical professionalism, level of quality care, consistent continuity of care and service, and for being amazing to their patients! I've been calling since Monday morning and now it's the end of the day Wednesday (I stopped by the office and they said it won't be completed today either). On one occasion, I arrived for a scheduled massage therapy appointment only to be told that I did not have an appointment that day. Most recently, I called to confirm my appointment and discovered that it had been canceled without my knowledge. Had I not called ahead, I would have wasted my time traveling to the office only to be turned away. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. This pattern of appointment cancellations and scheduling errors has now happened three times. I also want to note that when I need to cancel an appointment, I provide sufficient notice so the appointment can be offered to another patient and the time slot can be filled. For patients seeking massage therapy as part of their medical care and pain management, reliable scheduling is not a luxury--it is a necessity. Many of us plan our work schedules, childcare, transportation, and treatment plans around these appointments. Having appointments canceled without notification is frustrating and, in my opinion, unacceptable. The therapists are excellent, but prospective patients should carefully consider whether they are comfortable with the risk of last-minute scheduling issues and the possibility of arriving for an appointment that may not be honored as expected. I sincerely hope the practice addresses these administrative problems, as they have significantly affected my confidence in the office.

This is the email that I sent on May 22, 2025: Hello, I wanted to follow up on my recent visit to share feedback about my experience. When I came in, I communicated that I was dealing with a combination of SI joint pain, hamstring strain, sciatica, and piriformis discomfort. At the time of my appointment, I was about 70% recovered and progressing well in my healing journey. During the visit, I was asked to lie face down, and then without any discussion, my legs were forcefully swung outward from the hips, side to side multiple times. The motion felt abrupt and jarring, and unfortunately, when I woke up the next morning, I experienced a significant setback. The progress I had made was essentially undone--I could barely move and found myself back at square one in terms of mobility and pain. Additionally, there were two attempts to adjust my neck that were both unsuccessful and quite painful. When I shared this experience with both my spine and pain doctor and my physical therapist, they were very disappointed to hear what happened and strongly advised me not to return to chiropractic care, given the nature of my injuries. They emphasized that aggressive manipulation in my case could be harmful--and unfortunately, that seems to have been true. While I understand that chiropractic care involves physical manipulation, not enough care was taken to understand or work with the specifics of my condition before proceeding with such aggressive adjustments. I provided a very comprehensive background of my health history, including my current condition prior to the appointment. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially given how much effort I had put into my recovery up to that point. Rather than posting a public review, I believe it is more constructive to reach out directly and encourage a more mindful, individualized approach with future patients--particularly those dealing with complex sports-related injuries. Everyone's body is different, and what may be routine for one person can be harmful to another. Parking was easy and going inside has directions for the office. Once inside you are greeted very quickly and if you have pre-filled out your information then all the front office needs are your ID, Doctor's Order and insurance. The waiting area is comfortable and once your docs are returned you wait for your appointment. I was called up on time, there is a changing room and bathroom and the technician with have you identify yourself (Hian sp) and then the test is done very quickly and efficiently. I had my written results by the afternoon and my PCP's comments the next day (weird that patients get the results before the doctor butt it's the law). A very satisfactory visit. I will return Tuesday to have my disk of results.

The staff member who answered the phone told me they had the vaccine, but refused to vaccinate me since I am not a regular patient. She seemed more concerned about having to do "new patient" paperwork than my health situation! I have an urgent need for the vaccine since I had a potential recent exposure to a known case... You decide for yourself if this is an ethical practice or not!
