Unimpressive and disappointing customer service. On 3/9, I scheduled an appointment for a MRI on 4/12. On 3/28 I received a call that my appointment had been cancelled and the earliest new appointment I could get was on 4/29. The customer service rep that I spoke to was dismissive of my concerns regarding this significant delay. Like a lot of second rate Tucson health care providers, I'm done with Radiology Ltd. I've decided to pay travel expenses out of pocket to go to first class health care providers in Phoenix and/or Los Angeles. read more

I showed up early for Dexa scan; took me in early; got done early; and walked me over to the mammo waiting room. I fell through ALL the cracks after that with 15-20 other patients who arrived AFTER me but got xrayed BEFORE me. Asked three times about my 55 minute delay, and got gaslight answers (like "it's a processing thing" which it wasn't). They just skipped me and couldn't manage to make it right until I went to mgmt and called 'em on it. Finally got in, but what a terrible experience. Will NOT go there again! read more

This place is disgusting. Most staff unmasked. Zero front desk staff in masks. Almost no patients masked. This is a medical facility! Nowhere in Tucson have I seen such callousness with any medical facility regarding patient and staff safety. My call for the appointment said masks were required, but apparently not! People sick just sitting in packs. This is not a clean facility either. Visible grime in the dressing rooms. There are no lockers, so you're forced to carry around your clothes and bra in the open. I went to the Drexel location today for a CT on my chest due to lung cancer that was ordered by my Dr. stat. They were very rude and refused me because I couldn't pay the full co-pay. I get paid once a month on social security and it's not the same date every month. Same day different date. So, if I end up having cancer again can I sue them for neglect? This is so wrong to do to a patient. We just moved here from Illinois in Feb 2023 and this is the health care system out here. I was never turned away in Illinois. This is disrespectful and hurtful. I am having the same bad experience as others on Yelp. I was scheduled with R.L. for imaging, and the business manager called to say I'd be charged $500 up front and "so don't be shocked, it's just your deductible." Struck me as odd. My deductible is only $350/year! I go online, and sure enough, I find others have had this same bad experience at R.L! Bottom line: you pay up front and then get billed again for what insurance won't cover. They don't report the $500 to your insurance and badger you for full payment. Stay away from R.L.! Radiology has been a year long nightmare. My insurance plan covers 100% of all services. Yet, when I went in they charged me a $500 deductible to be seen. Radiology never reported that they collected this deductible to my insurance, so it was never credited. Then when my insurance paid the contracted amount, they sent bill after bill asking for more money from me. When you call customer service it is outsourced to another country, so it is very hard to understand the representatives. When you ask the representatives for assistance processing this, they become combative and actually argue with you. So after a year long process of calling them to figure out my bill I am no where. Now they are taking me to collections and took $500.00 without reporting it. read more

I was send by my doctor for a mammogram to this radiology company, the lady how did it was not trained for the job and just did 1 take (usually can be up to 4-6 different "pictures") and they send me a bill like I took a weekend at the most expensive resort in town! I'm a breast cancer survivor, I really need to have a mammogram every year and has to be good one! read more

Been here multiple times. They let you see your x-rays, but never use for an MRI. Their machine will be down and no one will let you know beforehand. Cost me two weeks waiting for an appointment and a day off work for something I could have already had done somewhere a bit more competent. read more

Radiology Limited is not providing what could be called health "care." And I'm not speaking of the scanning that they do for patients; I'm talking about the impersonal and mechanistic, uncaring ways that employees treat patients as though we are slabs of meat to be on tables according to a rigid schedule. Beware of the check-in time for your appointment, if you should be so unfortunate as to have an appointment with this business (which, again, I strenuously do not recommend). If you are a few minutes late for your check-in appointment, even if there is still plenty of time before your actual scan appointment time, you will be told you cannot have the appointment. You will be shamed and scolded because you were tardy. This happened to me. Employees spoke to me in a condescending and time-wasting manner, even when there were several minutes still available before the actual time of my appointment! And that's not all. I'd originally scheduled my appointment for an afternoon time that would not have been difficult for me to arrive at on-time. Then, for reasons that were never explained to me, I was called and told I could not have that afternoon appointment and I was asked to reschedule for an early morning appointment. My overall experience is this: like the machines through which people's bodies are put to obtain MRIs and other scans, Radiology Limited is a profit-making machine that trains its employees to dehumanize people. read more

She is the most professional, best personality, kind, and pleasant person ever. What a treasure having her on your staff. In July 2021 I received a bill for a $20 balance for X-rays performed Nov,5, 2019 at Radiology Limited on Wilmot Rd for my husband. We had Blue Cross & Blue Sheild Medicare insurance at that time. But in December 2019 both my husbands and my dr dropped Blue & Blue Sheild HMO medical insurance. We started with Humana January 2020. I did call right away to pay the $20 bill since it was a small amount by phone. The rep told me that the $20 bill had been paid. So I thought all was OK. Well since then I got another bill and I was perplexed as what was the problem. Well, today, I get a third bill from a collection agency! For a$20 bill amount! so, I will pay this bill, and stay away from Radiology Limited for any services since they are so petty for a $20 balance. read more

I've been here plenty of times. Standard place and service. They are not quick here but the staff is helpful and friendly. The facility is huge, and it's always kept nice and clean. With the shortness of staff due to COvId it has put the waiting times way behind. So be prepared to wait longboat your original appointment time. read more

Normally, I've had good luck at Radiology LTD. Today that changed. The wait time, during Covid, is unacceptable. Their problem should not cost me my time. While the facility is set up with Covid protocol, I'm not seeing it between the staff and patients coming in. The wait is unacceptable. If I leave, I'll have to come back. Once a year is enough, glad I can get my mammograms at my ob/gyn office. I hope I don't have to come back here. I ended up leaving without being seen, after ONE HOUR, I was told to be there 15 mins early. Absolutely ridiculous. I've requested a different radiology facility, preferably not Radiology, LTD! The nurse who starts IV's for procedures is a tall thin male (I think named Eric) he punctured through my husbands vein leaving a huge bruise and bleeding from the site. What a nightmare the past 24 have been. Made my appointment at Wilmot office for a CT scan with non-iodized contrast 4 weeks ago. Went on a vacation out of the country. Returned yesterday morning to find 8 messages from RL, all by different people with different phone numbers telling me I had to have a blood test re kidneys before today's procedure at 9:15 am. Rushed to phone doctor's office who faxed test script to local lab. Had blood drawn at 2 pm and results would be sent to doctor by 8 pm. At 8 pm my doctor called me with values requested by RL. Called RL and left message re values and that I would be there for test at 9:15, with or without contrast since doctor left decision to radiologist. Needed to leave house by 8:15 am to get to RL. At 8:10 am I received phone call from scheduling office. Huh? Told my test had been cancelled. I explained I was on way out the door. Put me on hold for over 20 minutes and told me new appointment was local, at 12:45. I asked who made the decision for me not to have contrast and he said he had. What??!! An appointment scheduler, not a radiologist, made such a serious decision? Is he an MD?? Obviously not. Such an incredibly frustrating day. New lab has opened up next door to my oncologist. Guess I'll be going there from now on. read more

Radiology LTDs check-in consists of 2 girls standing near the entrance asking for your name and rudely telling you to take a seat! I'd rather sign into a computer then be treated like this! A simple introduction like, "Hi may I check you in?" Or "Hello, if you have an appointment, I'd be happy to check you in." Instead of "What's your name and have a seat". While you stand at the entrance with a bunch of other people walking in the door. Terrible impression of this place. When I was directed to the actual check-in person she was very nice. read more

EVERYTHING is a hassle there now, a facility I once thought highly of. A tech told me they were bought out 2 years ago. I've spoken with others who have experienced similar issues. Co-pay estimates that are way out of line, and then excessive time to refund overpayments. Filling out the pre-reg paperwork, then answering the same questions upon arrival (30 minutes before exam, why? "Because sometimes our system doesn't work"), and then again with the tech "because some people don't know how to complete the pre-reg/reg." Scheduling dept. adding studies that weren't ordered, because they think it's fair game to have a protocol that takes precedence over doctors' orders. They got 2 stars rather than one because I still think the radiologists are good, but the rest is a complete mess. read more

The sites themselves are wonderful. Technicians and support staff are professional. However, the receptionist didn't update my insurance information from my new card that I presented to her, so I have had six months of dealing with the billing department. They are very incompetent in the billing department and continue to bill me for services that the insurance paid. From now on, I will go to Eastside Imaging. read more

I hate this place. They make your appointment 30 minutes early and don't tell you. They suggest on-line pre-registration to expedite check in which does nothing to expedite the wait time. one hour wait in a waiting room with plenty of potential Covid patients. Horrible trying to get an appointment. 20 min wait and lady decided she couldn't hear me and told me to call back for another 20 min hold. Worst part is I needed specialty radiology- additional 15 min hold after getting initial gate keeper. Then no appointment available for over a month!!! This is not the first time this has happened. I experienced it 5 times already. I have requested my doctor send me anywhere but here. The shame is the portal is fantastic. But if you can't get access to care what good is a portal? Ask your doctor to schedule you someplace else and save yourself a lot of grief. Your time is valuable too. read more

Do NOT use Radiology Ltd if you can avoid it. Their business model is to "disqualify" your insurance (for example, billing a wrong account number so it gets rejected) so they can classify you as uninsured and triple what you owe. Letters w/ documentation, emails & phone calls are all ignored; they simply turn you over to collections. Took 9 months to sort out & am still waiting on my refund stemming from THEIR error, plus my credit score took a hit from their mistake. They're the pits. read more

The whole experience is like going to a casino. You know you are going to lose large amounts based on the extravagance: vaulted ceilings and expensive decorations. A plethora of advanced texts and emails and online advanced registration (don't waste your time) which you have to go through page by page on the tablet to confirm everything you previously typed in. I had noted that I had found a breast lump. Once in, it's cold (physical temperature and personnel demeanor). Yet, the medical staff didn't read my note and later, suddenly, the staff all panicked when the lump was seen on the x-ray. I sat in limbo while they called up and reread my previous x-rays. They ordered a different angle, then a different type of x-ray. They didn't really ask my permission--they claimed the extra x-rays were necessary. They are all just covering their derrieres (at my expense). Because they didn't read the note I had put in my preregistration forms! I sensed a huge fear of being sued. Lots of whispering and shuffling around. Scurrying like rats. the lump was a common cyst, that I have had before, and actually they come and go. my primary-care doctor has always been real low key about them. Then the billing came through ($700 after insurance). However they debited and credited odd amounts on the invoice that didn't match my payment records so I called and asked for an explanation. The billing department phone representative said he didn't understand the odd amounts either (the figures didn't match any my payments and included a $100 debit and then a month later $100 credit). He told me someone would call me back with an explanation. I answered every call for several weeks (so now I am on all those junk call lists since they pass them along). The only reply I received was a bill from a collection agency! In the meantime, I hurt my foot and when I called to get an x-ray, the phone rang and rang (unanswered for a day), and then the next day answered unprofessionally ("Hi!" instead of "This is Joe's x-ray..." and "The phone is being forwarded here?") After a brief and odd discussion I was asked to call back the next day! read more

This is my fifth time here getting my Mammagram screening and it is always a pleasant as in as pleasant as a Mammogram can be here. I had a biopsy here as well. They are always very professional and make you as comfortable as possible. The check in process is efficient and well coordinated with a person greeting you at the door and another at the desk taking you Insurance and ID then giving you an IPad to answer any pertinent information and electronically checking you in for your appointment. The Technician are so nice and I aalways have someone new and can say each person has been professional, kind and available for any questions or concerns. If you need a follow up Sonogram or more imaging you can gett there. They have all the equipment and experts rIght there so it's convenient. There are places closer to where I live but I will always come here because I trust them and they make me feel very comfortable during an uncomfortable doctors visit! read more

I have been here so often these past few months! You can walk in for x-rays or schedule appointments. I have been here recently for x-rays, CT scans and MRI's. Walking in and giving your name is probably the thing they need to work on. Other than that, all the employees are friendly and very competent. The place is clean. Only once did the process take a long time and that was for a walk in x-ray. Over all you do get treated well and do not have to spend all day there. The results are sent to your doctor quickly. Some were within hours and others were a day or two (MRI). They do a good job. read more

If I could give this facility a negative review, I would. My husband went here two weeks ago for an x-ray on his shoulder and came back unsatisfied with the experience level and interpersonal skills of the x-ray tech who took the images. His comment was that the person was "clearly inexperienced and acted like it was a dummy and not a person that she was working with". This morning, I called to ask for directions on how to REQUEST a disc to take to an appointment with a doctor. I was informed that my husband would need to call and ask, or come to the office and ask himself. The level of arrogance and clear disdain in Frank's voice was, I thought, a result of my urgency and not the disregard for common courtesy and poor customer service it seemed like. I was wrong. My husband called and was told that even though it usually took 24 hours, they could make an exception. His description of that encounter was that it "was not a nice easy conversation as they generally apparently require 24 hours to prepare." They did agree to provide the disc though. At 5 minutes to 5:00 (closing) he arrived at the imaging center to learn that the records department was across the street and he would need to hurry if he was to make it before they closed. - He was not told on the phone that he would need to go to the records office, or that it was in a different location. The imaging center did call to request that the records office stay open so he could go across the street and pick up the disc. He arrived across the street at 4:59 and the response he got to his knock on the door was a head shake when they saw him through the window as they turned off the front lights and left out the back of the office (after a phone call to assure that they would stay open). This is the worst customer service we have received at any imaging center ever. We have been using Radiology Ltd for years and this is the only time I can think of that we have had an issue with one of their offices. We won't have another issue because we will not enter the doors of this facility again unless there is no other way to save a life. These people don't seem to understand that their customers are doing them a favor keeping them open. read more

Have gone to Rad Ltd for years and never had any issues, everyone has always been so kind and courteous. I went for my mammogram today, as other ladies know this can be a stressful visit to begin with. I was literally harassed by the guy at the front door about my mask. He was incredibly verbally nasty and rude. So, instead of my silver mask, which is an anti-microbial and highly more effective, I was literally forced to wear their 10 cent paper mask. The treatment I received by this guy is completely unacceptable; there is a way to talk to people and being nasty, rude, and harassing to women is not appropriate. read more

There was a billing error because my doctor put the referral under the wrong paitent. Therefore the bill was only partially paid by my insurance. I have to go through the appeals process with my insurance since the procedure was already done, but they said it will get paid. I just have to follow their process to make it happen, which I am doing. I notified Radiology Ltd's billing department of this and they still continue to make harassing phone calls even though I have explained the siutation to them. The doctor's office made the error, not me. I am insured and they will be paid, but they still want to argue about and threaten collection action. The people in their billing department are heartless blood suckers. Update: Their patient advocate called and gave a month for the appeal to process. read more

If anyone is a "hard stick" ( difficult to find a vein to start an IV) this is definitely the place to go! I needed an MRI with and without contrast. I had a chemo treatment on a Monday and my MRI was scheduled 2 days later. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful everyone was at this facility. Even though , all four nurses couldn't get an IV started, they did hit the veins each and every time but they blew due to the chemo I had. What makes this facility so amazing was how empathetic they were. Their communication skills were amazing. They rescheduled me 2 days later for a sonogram IV that went through flawlessly. Some of us have a really hard time with our veins especially when a phlebotomist can't find a vein for blood work or starting an IV. I should rephrase that, when our veins sink, roll or simply disappear. I've had this all my life. These nurses were amazing! A special thank you to Kori , the nurse that took me from the MRI area to the sonogram area. I have gone here several times over the years and been extremely pleased. Unfortunately now that I need a specialized test (MRI) it has been a nightmare. I need the MRI secondary to severe low back pain, pain down my leg. I have been waiting a week today. I called yesterday to be told that they have an approval from my insurance, but "it was ordered for the wrong test". Evidently the referral specialist sent the request for the wrong exam. So now I am on hold once more. Really frustrating to be in so much pain and have someone not doing the job correctly. I had the opportunity to go yesterday to another company, but I choose Rad Ltd. Next time I may rethink this. Really disappointed. read more
