They put the protectors on for us and didn't say anything about a warranty or registering for a warranty. They kept the packing materials so we had no idea there was a lifetime warranty. Several months later we both needed new screens. When the store opened after being closed for Covid they happily sold us two more screen protectors and charged another $100 on our account. They were not allowed to put them on so I did it at home. One of the covers was damaged when I put it on. I went back a week later and told them about the new screen being damaged. They gave me a number to call for a replacement. When I called it was the warranty department for the makers of the screen covers. Only then did I find out they charged me again for an item they know was under warranty. The store refused to do the right thing which was to credit my account. When I asked them if their employees are told not tell about warranty information they asked me to leave the store! Will not set foot into another Verizon store. Not when they knowingly steal from their customers and then try to justify it.

First I went to UBreakifix because they came recommended and had good reviews (more on google than Yelp), but they would need to order the glass, 3-5 days and needed four hours for the repair. Not to mention that as I was taking back my son's iPad, their employee broke it into many pieces, whereas it had only been a single crack before. Next we tried here. They had the glass in stock. They were $40 less than the other place and they had it fixed in a little over an hour. Crisis averted! Son is happy again! The work is guaranteed for 90 days, in case anything isn't as it should be. The first visit was to get the lines activated, and Lucas assisted and was able to give clear instructions and then able to get other items sorted away, too. My second visit was to get the esim issue resolved, and the tmobile tech service sent me again. Angie was able to get this done. Third visit with Joseph, we had some hiccups, but he was able to figure it out. No matter who attends, your needs are always met. The team here is very knowledgeable in what they do and worth the visit rather than waiting on the customer service line for hours.

Funny how the problem could easily be fixed until after I forked over $120, and then suddenly the drive was damaged and corrupted and it could not be repaired. The screen had cracked while I was traveling and it was replaced there. I discovered when I returned that the microphone was not working. I took it in to Igeeks on the scheduled day, when parts were to be available. Called to pick up the next day and was told there was a problem with repair and they would work on it to pick up the next day. This continued for 10 DAYS! One day I visited the store to resolve the issue and it was CLOSED DURING POSTED BUSINESS HOURS. They often did not return my daily calls. They provided various technical, involved reasons for the delay. Felt like I was being swamped. Finally after extensive discussions (when I was able to speak to them by phone) they said the microphone was working and it was ready to pick up. I paid the service charge and the cost. When I tried it at home the microphone STILL DIDN'T WORK. Frustrated, I took it to an Apple Store where I was told that the microphone repair was not possible on a screen! So my option was to purchase a new IPad and get a recycling discount for the one I relinquished. Results: the price of a new IPad + the charges for an unsuccessful repair. They took off the screen and cleaned the camera lens from the inside along with the tiny lens that does face recognition. Who would have guessed that was the answer? Not only did my camera work great afterwards but my face recognition, which had also been acting weird, was back. No lens cover replacement needed! The Iphone X lives on!
