I had her doing my business and personal returns. In my mind, Joy's behavior was inexcusable. I never received answers to my multiple questions posed to my former accountant Joy. The key element in a client - accountant relationship is trust. The accountant is a trusted advisor and adversary in accomplishing financial goals and safeguarding information. Joy destroyed the trust and the relationship by never replying or answering questions about how she reached her conclusions.

We still have to do 2022-2023 amended returns. This company has put me at risk of having to file for personal and professional bankruptcy and losing my health insurance as a disabled person. I cannot express how horrifying this experience has been and how they have screwed up my life and finances for the foreseeable future. Avoid at all costs If you are a current small business client with inventory products AND material components, get a second opinion, because they may have screwed you over too.
