    Haddock bites and spicy martini
    Deedrah B.

Pretty standard dive bar with strong drinks and decent bar food. I actually only came in here because I was trying to pick up an Avis car rental and they had me delayed about 90 minutes. I figured I could stop in for a quick bite and drink. It's right past the hotel entrance and rental car office. There were some regular low tables and a bar area where I sat at - lot of TVs around - and I ordered the fried haddock nuggets and a specialty spicy martini. The bartender was very nice and friendly - seemed to know everyone else in there. She made a great, strong drink and the food came out pretty soon after. I was a bit disappointed with the haddock portion - only about six pieces and the rest of the basket was filled with fries. Everything tasted good though, and I was happy with my experience.

This is my favorite hang out place. The Martinis are amazing! We have become regulars at RaeRocks and it is so nice that the servers know your name. Specials EVERY WEEK, the choices keep it fresh. I love the coconut chicken tenders with spicy Thai chili sauce! But they have something for everyone. Pub fare, Comfort Food, Fish, Steak and so much more. There Beet Salad is amazing too. Come play Keno, listen to some live music, play 3card Bingo. Fun date night or place to meet a group of friends to catch up!

My daughter and I had very low expectations for this place since it is attached to a hotel that is pretty subpar. Due to the fact that we had a disabled vehicle we were limited to what was within walking distance. This place was definitely the closest, but I must say this place does a nice job offering up a decent sports bar/pub/music venue. I ordered the chicken wings and was pleasantly surprised how plump and flavorful they were. My daughter ordered a Greek salad that was a bit excessive with the feta but good nonetheless. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The owner was on the premises and seems to care about making this a success...... well done!

i ordered a blt sandwich and i ordered a meatball parm sandwich. both sandwiches were supposed to include one side of my choosing with the sandwich. they were both listed at $12 each. i ordered the meatball parm with onion rings and the blt with a side garden salad. i expected to pay about $28-29 with tax. i got to there it was $36.73 after taxes. i was charged $15 for the meatball sub alone then $2 for the onion rings and then $14 for the blt (no extras) and $3 for my salad and a random EXTRA charge $.25. when i asked why the difference from menu to now i was told it's outdated but regardless i would never have paid almost $40 for a small meatball sub and a blt sandwich. don't follow their set menu prices in black and white because apprently not only are the prices outdated but the menu itself is too because meals doesn't include sides either. very disappointed.

This was such a fun place. It's pretty big, they have a bar and dance floor and pool tables. The staff was so much fun. We tried some really fun cocktails. I loved the almond joy martini and the sinamon crunch. I got the eggplant rolatini and quesdillas and they both were delicious. I also tried the Mac and cheese and it was one of the best I've ever had. All the prices were fair mostly less than $12 for the pastas. I was pleased to see a lot of vegetarian options. Other than the food, we had a lot of fun playing music bingo, we spent hours there with a group and friends and didn't get bored. I would love to come back here again!

Great llocal sports bar. Food is always consistent. Service with a smile. 10+ wide screens as well as a projector. Here today for the Super Bowl.

Packed house on a Thursday night, lucky enough to get here in time to watch a customer being irate towards the bartender because his drink wasn't refilled fast enough... let me just say it's 2020 possibly one of the worst years for the restaurant industry in decades! If you can't go out in public to any restaurant and behave like an adult, you shouldn't bother leaving your house. Now on to the food, I ordered the tips and scallop plate with mashed potatoes and a side Cesar salad and let me just say IT WAS AMAZING!!! Every bite better then the last, I'm talking the salad was great, the potatoes were delicious the tips were cooked to perfection and the scallops... OMG THE SCALLOPS were pan seared and melted in your mouth!!! Don't know who is in the kitchen but whoever it is needs a raise!!! This chef can cook!!!! As far as the service they were both fantastic, Daisy & Nicole were polite, friendly and fast. Not only with the service but the place is clean they actually wipe down the surfaces and make sure you feel safe at your table while keeping social distancing practices in place!! Oh yeah I also ordered a brownie Sunday and that was the perfect ending to an awesome night out. Got to take my mom with me and she had the Seafood Trio and loved all of it!! This place doesn't look like much from the outside but feels like home on the inside... I will definitely be back!!!

The atmasphere is kind of off putting- as there was "Lets Go Brandon" flag on display which is a political statement for sure. We will be eating other places and skip this one.

You insouciantly scroll through your Yelp feed, not particularly sure what you have an appetite for because making decisions is about as difficult as adulting. This, ladies and gentlemen, is my wife to a T. Although, she highlighted this place to me and I was instantly hooked - so, I can't complain too much. Now, it isn't clear to us how long this place has been in our midst. But judging from the lack of photos, I'm willing to bet that it's either not yet well known enough or it's a fairly new place. In any case, O'Brien's Sports Bar deserves far more recognition than it's getting at the time of me reviewing this. I've been to plenty of Irish pubs. Some good, some rather meh. I've only tried one meal so far. But based on that, plus the copious menu selection, I can already tell you O'Brien's is possibly the best Irish pub I've tried food from in a long while. I was quite disappointed when they permanently closed down Waxy O'Connor's in Lexington. But I believe O'Brien's will be a more than suitable replacement to satisfy my yearning for Irish cuisine. So, as the intro infers, we ordered take-away via DoorDash, of all things. Which implores me to bring up this caveat: there's a vast difference between ordering from DoorDash versus what's actually available on the O'Brien's menu via their website. Basically, DoorDash represents a severely gutted version of their menu, in my opinion. Certain items, you just can't order from DoorDash...for SOME reason. A few examples include: the seafood chowder, chicken marsala, and pretty much any burger that's more complex than your traditional cheese burger. Not really a ding against the restaurant itself. I'm just ranting here to state that I really hate DoorDash sometimes. They're as overpriced as they are underequipped. /endrant Anywho, I kept things simple this evening and tried the fish n' chips. Upfront, I gotta tell ya....they give you a shitload of fish! Like...at least 10 to 12 ounces (or 6 huge nuggets), if I had to guess. And whilst the fish itself was delicious and meaty, the batter could have benefited from some type of seasoning. Let's just say...this is the type of fish that requires tartar sauce. Oh, speaking of which.. I didn't get any tartar sauce with my order. No idea why. But it's a good thing we always keep some at the house (and it's the fancy kind, too). Now, their chips are like nothing I've ever seen. The best way I could describe them is....well seasoned boomerang fries. Hey, I don't care WHAT shape they are, so long as they're tasty as hell! Overall, the dish gets an 8 out of 10, despite them forgetting the tartar sauce. We've already decided we'll dine in at this place apropos for a date night. I mean, based on our DoorDash experience, it seems clear to us this will be the only way to experience their complete menu. And I've already got my eyes on the aforementioned chowder, chicken marsala, and/or one of their delicious looking burgers. And then maybe, just MAYBE...we can get some more photos onto their page already. I have a feeling this rating may get adjusted upon revisit. But for now, I'm giving O'Brien's Sports Bar 4 gigantic fish nuggets with tasty boomerang fries out of 5.

We have both been talking about our meals since we left the restaurant, both meals were excellent, and the best we have ever had, not that their other meals aren't good, but these 2 plates were top notch.
