I used to be a dental assistant and had never seen a dentist refer out for crowns, so I decided to leave that practice. After some research, I found Dr Ledesma and am so glad that I did. I was on a very tight schedule because I was moving about 4 months later and was in braces that would not be removed till a month before my move date. Dr Ledesma and his staff worked to squeeze me into their busy schedule and he did an amazing job on my crowns! I had put off getting these crowns done for many many years because I was worried about them not turning out good. It is very difficult to get a good match when doing front crowns. That's why it is usually best to do the front 6 together, but that was not an option. Even with the obstacles that I threw at him, he was able to exceed my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr Ledesma to anyone in need of dental work!

I love they were concerned for my comfort and that I was aware and comfortable with what they were going to do, BEFORE they did anything. The final stage was sending me home with excellent verbal instructions (repeated to me at least 3 times so I would remember) of what to do for sore gums, types of food to eat and avoid for the next few days, and if I needed an adjustment to call right away. I can honestly say my gums around the the crowns were tender, but not sore and I am so very pleased with the end results! It made me a little sad to think, I'd only see these wonderful people only 2 times a year. For me that is a first. Love my forever dentist and staff!

They called me at 10 o'clock and told me that they actually didn't have room in their schedule and they could see me on Saturday. I asked them why their system would allow me to make an appointment if they didn't really have time and then this was not a good way to treat someone who is new to the area and new to them. So then they tried to squeeze me in which was nice. Didn't work so when I did go in three days later, instead of fixing the broken tooth, they decided they wanted to do $15,000 worth of work in my mouth. The dentist I saw really loves crowns. I'm not sure that I need a whole new set of crowns. All I wanted was my tooth filled. On the other hand, he was correct about several things in my mouth so he doesn't know his stuff. I feel guilty because they did the whole work up for no charge but I don't feel confident about going back. A little background about me. I have been in the dentist chair since I was very very young, so I've seen more dentists than the average person. I don't believe they were untruthful about anything. They just weren't listening to what I needed at the moment. When I tried to describe, what I was hoping for the doctor got a little uppity. This left me with the feeling that I can't actually discuss possibilities with him. I will either take the treatment he offers or not and that's not how I like to do my medicine. If you know what I mean? On the upside, everyone really seemed to know their business. They had lots of fancy gadgets that showed me all kinds of things about my mouth.

Then proceed to push payment plans when you say you're not interested in dropping nearly $3000 on a singular treatment. I saw a couple reviews that said I should've took it being connected to a Jersey Mikes in a Better Call Saul complex as a red flag. This couldn't be more true so I guess I'll take a bit of the blame. Dr. Barratt is straight forward, and works efficiently. Scheduling is great, and I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes in the waiting room. The cleanliness is immaculate. Marika is a great hygienist. Premier also accepts my insurance. Dr. Barratt is honest, and unlike many other dentists, he doesn't push services or unnecessary procedures. Highly recommended.

When I arrived, the woman at the front desk was on the phone discussing billing while I stood there, clearly in need of help. Despite leaving emergency messages, she showed no urgency or care. Even though she admitted that she had listened to my messages. Billing another customer was more important than worrying about a patient's dental issue. I ended up leaving and finding another dentist who saw me right away. The dentists and hygienists here are great, but the front office staff definitely needs to improve on communication and customer care. In an emergency, a little compassion goes a long way. When we came to BrightNow the doctor there immediately saw the problem, and a hygienist went to work on a special cleaning to clear out the bacteria under her gums, and was told to come back for a regular cleaning. She came back the following week and had her regular cleaning without incident. A week later my daughter arrived at her orthodontic's office, and the doctor looked inside her mouth and was blown away by the improvement of her gums. He wanted to know who had done the work so he could recommend people. He already knew of BrightNow from other clients. BrightNow saved my daughter a tremendous amount of unnecessary pain, and thousands of dollars. The team there (and it is a team) is great, caring, compassionate and know what they are doing. They are keepers. We wont go anywhere else. Regarding the comment about lousy X-RAYS, we first went to a place called Grinz 4 Kids in Medford. They looked inside my daughter's mouth and XRAY'ed her with the panoramic XRAY machine you seem to think is some sort of magical implement. For this they charged us $385 AFTER they dinged our Dental Insurance. The XRAYS were unusable. They showed overlapping teeth, and some were even missing. So maybe it is not the technology that matters, but how the techs are using the technology? Just saying.

OK a simple mistake by typing in the wrong number of the tooth. I told Bright Now of the problem and they said they would fix it. Six months later at my cleaning I asked about the correction and was told it was not done yet. One week later the tooth started hurting so I contacted Bright Now and the correction was not done yet and they couldn't see me for five more days. I made an appointment at 10 AM and when I showed up the door was locked and no one was there. I tried to call several times that day and got no answer. This type of ineptitude shown by a Medical Institution is beyond reason and I will be reporting them to the ADA.
