Beautiful setting, mediocre food. I always want to love eating here, but every time the food is just very mediocre. They have pretty typical offerings- the food is pretty much just whatever prefrozen stuff comes off the Sysco truck and lacks any extra fanfare. Today I ordered the Great Ohio Lodges Burger and it came a bit crispy and charred, lacking flavor. Fries are nothing special. The kids got chicken fingers (they were ok) and macaroni and cheese, which is just Kraft style. Wait staff is very attentive and do a great job. The seating next to the lake is nice. We got to watch buzzards and deer out the window while we waited on our food. Boats going by also adds interest.

Enjoyed a great meal with an amazing view. The New York strip was perfectly cooked medium rare, the pasta was delicious and the chicken was flavorful. The staff are kind. There aren't many views this good around. Places like the lodge restaurant are hard to staff given a lack of volume and a reliance on rural based staff. However, they were friendly and hospitable. Most places will deliver a Guinness without having to ask for a glass. These are details that some may complain about, but they are minor details. Great meal, looking forward to the next meal here.

The filet mignon was fabulous. 4 star rating is because the service is a bit slow. Even tonight they are slow and it is not close to closing time and there appears to be at least 4 servers and I see only 6 tables occupied. If you do not mind slow service the food is worth the wait.

This resturaunt is worth its prices. Looking at the menu I was flabbergasted at the price but when the food got here it was delicious. I reccomend the pretzels which are crisp putside and soft inside. I gave it four stars because service was slow but I understand since the woman was working alone. An elderly woman came in with a trake(dont know if spelled right) and the waitress was extra nice and patient with her. I RECOMMEND THIS RESTURAUNT!!

Perfect crispy bacon fluffy eggs and delicious sausage gravy and slightly grilled yummy biscuits

A beautiful view hardly makes up for the terrible service. Really disappointing considering how long we waited for our meal.

The serving staff was nice, however, but they didn't know the menu. She had to go ask if certain desserts were even available & the ones we wanted were not. Food was sub-par & very pricy for the poor quality. Breakfast was buffet-style & not included in the price of the stay (it was $17/person). The coffee was awful! I took one sip & spit it back out. No amount of cream & sugar could help. Would rather have eaten breakfast at Ihop or Waffle House. Service was slow once seated, again despite not being very busy. The restaurant was closed between 2p-5p & again after 9p leaving limited available dining times. The view of the lake out the expansive window was beautiful; however, there were dead bugs & animal droppings all over the windows & sills, making it very unappetizing for dining. Would not dine here again (or stay at the lodge for that matter, see separate review). Would not recommend.

Didn't know what cocktails were available, didn't know which entrees were available, didn't bring our bread rolls, once she did finally bring bread she left us with no plates, I had to go into the kitchen myself to ask for plates, blamed us for not asking her what flavor salad dressings they offered, just overall HORRIBLE customer service and I would recommend to absolutely no one. Food was NOT worth the 1.5 hour wait. 0/10 would not recommend. Should've gotten our meal comped for the lackluster service we received.

Way too much but the wings were edible... and that's where edibility ends! The tofu with peanut sauce sounded good to me, but I swear they took a whole block of tofu and cooked it as one piece. The exterior was bland which meant the inner depths of said tofu was even blander. How do you make peanut sauce bland? The drinks had to be good, right? After all, they're also a distillery with their own craft whiskey. Nope... Epic Fail on the blandest old fashioned in Ohio (I'm guessing). If they're trying to showcase their whiskey... maybe they shouldn't. Just really not a fan. Other Old Fashioned fans in the dining party weren't impressed either. The margarita wasn't much better either. What about a refreshing peach dessert? I'll give you 3 guesses and they all start with B! You guessed it, so flavorless and the pound cake was dry! It was even dry if you were calling it a biscuit. If you're going to serve this, then maybe a peachy sauce to cut through the dryness. Oh, the description promises that, but it did not deliver on those bourbon macerated peaches by any means. Even Bowser would send this peach back! TLDR: Bland food, Bland drinks, Dry Bland Cake, and Bland Drinks (a no-no for a distillery themed place). So many other great restaurants in Columbus, but this is a pass from me.

Was able to split the Caesar salad, in which the dressing was more mellow and less acidic than typical Caesar dressing, but was accompanied with a charred lemon wedge to add however much acid your heart desires! The crispy potatoes albeit fried were extremely light, and the aioli complements well the shaved cheese placed on top. Then came the burger, with the fries being extremely crispy and perfectly seasoned. The burger was very good as well, but I could do without the mushrooms added. It is a wet burger as well due to the mornay instead of a typical slice of cheese that just sticks to the burger. Most importantly, the cocktails are FANTASTIC as always. A seasonal menu always gets created, with the staples of course always available, typically using their own products within.
