Perhaps they put it in the box quickly so the heat caused the sogginess. (I came in when it was informed it would be complete. Waited another 15+ min. I get it- got busy.) Sausage is crumbled, bell peppers diced. Loved how there was enough cheese and toppings per bite. I also enjoyed the pizza crust which has a slight crisp but soft. Nice flavor. 4* 2nd time: thicker dough where the pizza wasn't thin ny style, same well covered toppings on pie though which was nice. 3rd: shortest pick up time so prob not busy. Got one slice of cheese pizza- don't order this bc crust was inedible rock hard. Not sure if it was a combination of pizza sitting out all day and reheated too long.. but def not good choice. The small pizza 12" is pretty expensive for the size, but had a good amount of toppings (chicken bacon pie). The downer was my custom pie, which I was craving, so I ordered an 18" to have leftovers. Cheese was not to the crust, some areas had just sauce near the crust. Toppings (sausage, pepperoni) were light. Also, the 18" didn't seem like it was baked long enough. The crust was just soft like bread unlike the other times I've had pizza from here. Even the 12" that day seemed fine. All for $58. In summary, Ill come back but am on the hunt to try other pizzas in the area. Don't order by the slice. Def order 18". read more

I placed a phone order for a 12" Vito pizza and large caesar salad. The person who took the order was friendly and helpful. They said it would be ready in 10-12 minutes and it was. The caesar salad for $10 was very good. Nice fresh romaine and tasty dressing on the side. The pizza was a different story. I have never paid $35 for a 12" pizza before. I wouldn't mind so much if it was outstanding, but it was substandard. The toppings weren't bad but the cheese was quite sparse. I've been ordering from here for years. Ownership clearly changed recently and I get that there can be a learning curve. I ordered a pizza, picked it up, paid, and tipped as per usual. When I opened the box after arriving home, the pizza barely resembled what most would recognize as a pizza. The crust/dough was raw and there was a weird absence of cheese -- just red with a cheese dusting, mostly sauce on raw dough. Even if it'd melted more, the cheese ratio was visibly, obviously, short and wrong. Even Dominos can make a pizza that "looks" like a good pizza. I have to imagine someone pulling it out of the oven and thinking, "good enough, let's add more cheese and a longer bake next time." Thirty plus dollars later, I'm cooking dinner for my family. Good pizza is probably hard to make, but what's not hard is stopping a poorly executed product from leaving the kitchen, all the more so when it's waiting in a warmer, having been cooked well before the specified pick-up time. McDonald's is never good, but they excel at never letting something below their low standards land on a tray. I would have been very grateful if they'd just said, "we're 15min behind because your pizza came out below our standards and we're trying to make it right." I don't know how anyone would relate this as "Central's Oregon's Favorite " I would personally rate this place as subpar. My first time visiting and I was hoping for some top quality Italian pizza & sandwich place. I ordered the classic chicken Parmesan sandwich. A simple classic that nearly anyone can make. Unfortunately, Raganelli's is not talented to make one. When you order chicken Parmesan from a normal Italian or labeled pizza restaurant, your chicken is usually a breaded chicken cutlet. I'm not entirely what type of meat this was, but it was not a breaded chicken cutlet. From the looks & tastes of it, it seemed similar to Tyson Grilled & Ready Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast. I'm in shock that a business would even try to pass this sandwich as a chicken Parmesan. They should be ashamed they are even selling this quality of food to the community. Seems like Central Oregon is striking out on good quality food. I have not found any culture or good food here so far. I would never go back to this place. Also to add, it seems like the other businesses in that area are very low quality food as well. Selling cheap products for higher profit. Yall should be ashamed to even be in the industry. Got a gluten free and regular pizza while visiting family, didn't go in so not sure about ambiance but the pizza was delicious! We asked for extra cheese which some places don't deliver on but this was and the crust was super tasty too! My daughter agreed that the gluten free pizza was really great! And the other was as well. Put in a phone order and was quoted 45 minutes. Pizzas were ready and hot. Ordered the margarita, 4 cheese, Vito's and Mediterranean veggie (sorry forgot to take pictures). The 18" pizzas were quite large and therefore we had tons of extra pizza for 12 people. The pizzas were ok. I tried the margarita and the 4 cheese pizza. I didn't really like the sun dried tomato on it and it could use more cheese. The four cheese was better but i think the thin crust made it a bit tough after a while. read more

I have been going to Raganelli's a few times a year for 7 years. They are my "treat" pizza spot when I feel like splurging. My order tonight was way below expectations. I ordered a large "The Philly" pizza. A calzone with ham and pineapple. A small cheesy bread. These are premium prices. I paid $58 dollars and I will give a break down of each item with pictures. The Philly: The toppings are not the same. I had an abundance of banana peppers. The steak was uneven and only on certain areas of the pizza. The onions were not evenly spread and clumped on minimal spots. The cheddar cheese was so minimal that it looked like grease spots on the pizza. The pizza was also soaked in grease. Every slice would drip with grease when picked up and the middle was soggy. Outside crust was crispy/almost burned. You can visually see these things in the included pictures. This was $28. Calzone: They do not have calzones on the online menu but I had ordered one before. When I called, I asked if they have calzones. The employee said yes so I ordered a two topping calzone. I was not informed I could get four toppings for the same price. The calzone was drenched in grease. I let it cool down and cut it in half. When I picked up one half, liquid poured out of the calzone. This was $18. Cheesy Bread: The cheesy bread was in the form of a small pizza. This had a flavorful sauce (maybe a garlic butter sauce) and cheese. Once again not listed on the website. I believe it was $10-$12. It was the best item of the order purely because it was cooked correctly. Unfortunately it was also dripping with grease as you can see in the picture. Overall I would give this place a one star review based on the quality of the pizza compared to the price. Paying $60 for three greasy, inconsistent food items is a major let down. We were in bend Oregon for a night and this pizza place was recommended to try out as they serve amazing pizza's. It is a small pizza cafe and they even serve pizza slice. The server was amazing and he gave us good recommendation. We ordered Cheesy Bread and Cheesy Pizza slices one with veggies and another with chicken. We got our pizza slices in less than 5 minutes and they were delicious and tasty. We loved the pizzas. It was amazing we had and we will definitely visit this pizza place when we are in bend Oregon. Raganelli's meatball sub is the bomb! I can not believe how good this sandwich is. It is soooo good and messy and warm and gooey. I love that they toast the roll, otherwise all the deliciousness will be all over you. A full sandwich can easily feed 2 people and it probably weighs over a pound. We tried their Philly cheesesteak too. It was good but it paled in comparison to the meatball sub. Service was good both times we called in an order. Very friendly folks. We will be back. This was our first time ordering and sadly we were not entirely impressed. I will start with the positive: We ordered a 12" cheese bread for our kids, which they devoured. I thought it tasted fine, but not memorable. The box, pictured below, was gross. So much grease. I also got a 12" Vito's (also below), which was burned on the top and soggy/greasy on the bottom. My husband will literally eat anything, but he wouldn't touch it. I called the store to ask for a refund and the person who answered was very kind and professional. She offered to remake it but I preferred the refund. I have no complaints about the service and hope the pizza we got was not a typical product. read more

We took a way-back machine to Raginellis the other night. Get this: polite and listening on the phone! Asked if we wanted extra this or that. Said thanks. And when we got there to pick up Our pizza- said welcome, the pizza was ready to go. They knew how to work the register AND count back change. Strange, I know. "Trained" employees! And the pizza? A group of us ordered 2 large pizzas, a small pizza, cheesy bread, and some wings for pick-up. Apparently if you "fill up all of their ovens" this requires a surcharge in the form of a required 15% tip, even if you take it To-Go like we did. I'm told this is because the employees work extra hard and they cannot take orders for other customers. To pass this burden on to your customers that are spending good money with you already is ludicrous. A restaurant does not charge you extra when all of their tables are full.. and in that scenario you're actually getting a SERVICE. As a small business don't you WANT to be busy? Putting aside the difference in opinions behind the 15% auto-gratuity.. there wasn't exactly a whole lot of transparency to begin with. If you've ever ordered pizza in a large group before, you know its a bit overwhelming. The employee mentioned the 15% gratuity at the end of the call but did not volunteer a total price nor did he tell us what a 15% tip amounted to. When I arrived at the location I was asked to pay $168 for 3 pizzas, cheesy bread, and 2 orders of wings. I respectfully asked to see a receipt before paying but the employee would not, or could not, provide one. After pressing again he impatiently read the entire order verbally but left off how much we were paying for the gratuity again. This made it two times that a gratuity had been mentioned without telling me what the gratuity even was. When he told me it would be almost $25 dollars I asked that it be lowered to $10 as that seemed more fair for a take-out pizza. They held their ground as it had "already been calculated." My group of friends involved consisted of 10 local professionals (early to mid 30's), many of which have worked in the service industry (I would call this more of a transaction than a service), and not one of us had ever heard of such a charge. Fast forward a few days and it became clear the required gratuity was indeed sponsored by the owner. He called me but was more interested in arguing than diffusing the situation. Had he been more professional or offered to make things right in the slightest I might consider eventually going back... for smaller orders. PSA if you are doing a large order at Raganelli's you should call in multiple orders under different names so you can avoid "filling up their ovens" and getting overcharged for just okay pizza. Edit: Thanks for the comment, Patrick.. We did agree to disagree but last I checked reviews are an avenue to share experiences with prospective customers are they not? Rather than writing a bad review right away I waited for you to get back into the country so we could have a call. It was clear you did not have any interest in making things right.. this was enough motivation to share my experience. At least I was professional enough to keep my personal opinions to a minimum for this review focusing primarily on the facts. The main subjective part of my review was the interaction between you and I but you've gone ahead and replied with the very same combative attitude for everyone to see first hand. My wife has some food allergies and Paddy helped her to navigate the menu to put together an awesome pizza. Mine was amazing as well loved the cook the crust and ingredients. Highly recommended! First timer here, sent to Raganelli's by some friends who rave about it. The two guys working tonight were very friendly and professional. We picked up a margherita pie, the sauce and ingredients were spot on. The only downside was that the crust wasn't quite done, in my opinion, leaving the thick edges still a bit doughy. We picked Raganelli's based off of the reviews for customer service. We're visiting from out of state and were hoping to get our pizza for the end of our journey. I called and placed an order for take-out at 6:19, they gave us a pick up time for 25 minutes. We arrived about 30 minutes later to which they told us the pizza wasn't ready, no big deal at first then they informed us our pizza was given to another customer- said they were rushing it through and apologized said it'd be about 10 minutes. It was 7:30 when we received our order. An hour and 10 minutes is absurd. The pizza certainly wasn't worth the wait. They offered a beer on them and my husband asked for cheesy bread instead as our family was waiting in the car. In addition when we did receive the pizza, the pizza was incorrect, both of the pizza's we ordered weren't done as we requested, which was very unfortunate because our daughter has a food allergy to pineapple, we requested the pizza have half pineapple and it was covered. Be aware that this not a sit down and eat place. There are some tables but not set up for a real family to come and sit down and eat. The place is also way hot. My middle son almost got heat stroke trying to eat the pizza inside the restaurant. The pizza was decent the dough was good and right out of the oven it had a nice crunch The sauce was a little on the sweet side but still ok. We got their margarita pizza and it wasn't bad. Came in one night ordered a large pizza and a calzone, they didn't seem excessively busy but I still had to wait over an hour for my food. The price was quite steep as well but times are changing. I Assume the people that came in and sat down after me had called ahead because they got their food while I waited. What was really the final straw was the amount of spice on pizza and in the calzone, I've never had a spicy Hawaiian pizza before but this tasted like some one mixed chili peppers into the tomato sauce.
