I'm not a pizza person unless it's a super thin flatbread sort of crust. I also do not like Italian meats because the grease from them create an aftertaste I hate. This pizza had both pepperoni and Italian sausage. The slices were really large- maybe too large because the lower 3/4 of the slice was very floppy, too wet to fold without the toppings sliding off. Not enough sauce though. The end of the crust was ok. I would give this a 3 but the DH said it was good to him. I wouldn't return. But I get overridden because I'm not a pizza expert. lol read more

Have been wanting to try Bruno's for years and finally had the opportunity. Didn't want to cook for the evening so decided to do a take and bake pizza - half olive/half cheese. Ordered at the counter and they had it ready lickety split 5 minutes later. Noticed homemade chocolate chip banana bread and brownies on the counter and picked up a couple, as well. Baked the pizza at home later that evening and it was REALLY good for a take and bake pizza. Even the wife commented on how good it was. This ain't no Papa Murphy's. This place kind of reminds me of a bodega or deli on the east coast: it's a little convenience store/market in which you can get beer, snacks, etc but they also make some banging pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. This is the type of mom and Pop corner store that are becoming more rare much to our loss. Tho they specialize in pizzas (both piping hot and take-&-bake) they also make excellent sandwiches and salads. I only wish their sandwich selection was slightly bigger, maybe add a cheesesteak, reuben, or BLT?? The pizza at this place is SUPER yummy!! The pepperoni pizza and the gourmet veggie pizza were both absolutely fantastic! The pepperoni pizza had just the right amount of spice, with a generous portion of perfectly crispy pepperoni slices. The crust was outstanding--thick with a great bite, holding up well under all the toppings. As for the veggie gourmet pizza, it was a real standout!! The toppings were incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor. Every bite was a perfect combination of fresh vegetables, complemented by the same excellent crispy crust. One of Bends better pizzas are at Brunos. Either get it baked there or bring it home to bake (for few dollars less). I always have them bake it bc they have a better oven. The dough is crisp uet soft and chewy. Id say its medium to thin crust type of pie. Its reasonably priced which i appreciate. We are relocating to Bend/Redmond soon and this past weekend while in town to find housing we decided to start trying the local pizza places. WOW, so impressed with Brunos. From the nice order over the phone service to the VIP service when I arrived to pick up the pizza. AND THE PIZZA - We ordered the Meatza - IT WAS ALL I HOPED AND DREAMED.
