Bruno's 6th Street Market - Bend, Oregon (via DoorDash) The pizza arrived in 25 minutes, neatly packaged in a standard box. It was warm on arrival, though not piping pizza-hot. I ordered a 14-inch pizza with tomato and sausage. Thanks to a DoorDash subscription deal, I received a $3.99 discount. Cost breakdown: Subtotal (before discount): $21.45 DoorDash Service Fee: $1.07 (reduced from $3.22 with DashPass) Delivery Fee: $0.00 (reduced from $2.49 with DashPass) Discount: -$3.99 Dasher Tip: $6.54 Total: $25.07 As for the pizza, good to very good. The sauce was well-balanced and not overly sweet. The sausage was delicious but on the mild side. The bake was a touch underdone, which caused toppings to slide off the tips of a few slices. Even so, I kept gobbling down the pieces. Parmesan and red pepper packets were not included. I will order from Bruno's again, especially when discounts are available. Their own site also offers delivery with a $3.99 fee. If half-stars were allowed, I would give 3.5; since they are not, I am rounding up to 4 stars. read more

Great pizza here with friendly workers. Tried the veggies pizza and was not disappointed. Cooked to perfection, not too doughy, or burnt. The sauce was just enough and the veggies were poured on a bit heavy, but I liked it. The cheese was a bit much but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. read more

I can't speak for the staff, or the physical location. I can only speak of the most important aspect...their pizza. I traveled to Bend to spend Christmas Day with my family. Bruno's take and bake pizza had been purchased the day before as the family dinner. The pizza was so fucking good I felt compelled to get on Yelp and write a review. Best crust I have had in my life. The sauce level was perfect. The topping had just the right amount. The cheese blend on point. I'm gonna be comparing all future take and bake to memory of the deliciousness of Bruno's perfect pizza's read more

Amazing pizza place! One of the best pizzas I have had and I live in the North East. On the corner of a neighborhood, you would miss it without directions. The crust on the pizza is so good I would go there just for pieces of crust. After seeing the corporate take over of Bend, it was nice to see an old school pizza place with down to earth locals. I'm not a pizza person unless it's a super thin flatbread sort of crust. I also do not like Italian meats because the grease from them create an aftertaste I hate. This pizza had both pepperoni and Italian sausage. The slices were really large- maybe too large because the lower 3/4 of the slice was very floppy, too wet to fold without the toppings sliding off. Not enough sauce though. The end of the crust was ok. I would give this a 3 but the DH said it was good to him. I wouldn't return. But I get overridden because I'm not a pizza expert. lol read more

Great find! The review did not lie. Great tasting and classic pizza. We had a pepperoni and a combo. Both were a hit. Quality ingredients and great crust. Just ordered for our team after their soccer tournament and it did NOT disappoint I ordered 5 different pizzas and of course the basic pepperoni went first ( obviously a hit ) and the rest went equally as fast loved the thinner crust and ratio of sauce to cheese ! Have been wanting to try Bruno's for years and finally had the opportunity. Didn't want to cook for the evening so decided to do a take and bake pizza - half olive/half cheese. Ordered at the counter and they had it ready lickety split 5 minutes later. Noticed homemade chocolate chip banana bread and brownies on the counter and picked up a couple, as well. Baked the pizza at home later that evening and it was REALLY good for a take and bake pizza. Even the wife commented on how good it was. This ain't no Papa Murphy's. The banana bread and brownies were fresh and delicious. Next time I'll have them bake it. It can only be better, right? read more

Was told about this place by a friend of mine who said the sandwiches were amazing. Went on my lunch break during work and she was correct. I got the BLTA and it was fresh, ready to go in less than 10 minutes and delicious. They also have a selection of chips, drinks and other misc items that you may need. read more

This place kind of reminds me of a bodega or deli on the east coast: it's a little convenience store/market in which you can get beer, snacks, etc but they also make some banging pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. This is the type of mom and Pop corner store that are becoming more rare much to our loss. Tho they specialize in pizzas (both piping hot and take-&-bake) they also make excellent sandwiches and salads. I only wish their sandwich selection was slightly bigger, maybe add a cheesesteak, reuben, or BLT?? The people working here are always super chill, this definitely feels like a genuinely nice place that puts love into the food. read more

One of Bends better pizzas are at Brunos. Either get it baked there or bring it home to bake (for few dollars less). I always have them bake it bc they have a better oven. The dough is crisp uet soft and chewy. Id say its medium to thin crust type of pie. Its reasonably priced which i appreciate. Only gripe is the sausage on the pizza is a little spicy..(not that kid friendly). read more

The pizza at this place is SUPER yummy!! The pepperoni pizza and the gourmet veggie pizza were both absolutely fantastic! The pepperoni pizza had just the right amount of spice, with a generous portion of perfectly crispy pepperoni slices. The crust was outstanding--thick with a great bite, holding up well under all the toppings. As for the veggie gourmet pizza, it was a real standout!! The toppings were incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor. Every bite was a perfect combination of fresh vegetables, complemented by the same excellent crispy crust. Both pizzas were a real treat, but the freshness of the veggie pizza especially made it memorable. Highly highly recommend! The service was also excellent! Super friendly in person and over the phone! Reminded me of home :) We were also able to get dessert for after the pizza! Just got a few sandwiches here and we were really impressed with the taste and quality. My husband is from Philly, and is super picky about his subs and hoagies, and he loved his Italian sub! And I loved my turkey avocado sub. Delicious. Will definitely return to this cute little neighborhood market! Whoever lives within walking distance is lucky! When I opened the box after arriving home, the pizza barely resembled what most would recognize as a pizza. The crust/dough was raw and there was a weird absence of cheese -- just red with a cheese dusting, mostly sauce on raw dough. Even if it'd melted more, the cheese ratio was visibly, obviously, short and wrong. Even Dominos can make a pizza that "looks" like a good pizza. I have to imagine someone pulling it out of the oven and thinking, "good enough, let's add more cheese and a longer bake next time." Thirty plus dollars later, I'm cooking dinner for my family. Good pizza is probably hard to make, but what's not hard is stopping a poorly executed product from leaving the kitchen, all the more so when it's waiting in a warmer, having been cooked well before the specified pick-up time. McDonald's is never good, but they excel at never letting something below their low standards land on a tray. I would have been very grateful if they'd just said, "we're 15min behind because your pizza came out below our standards and we're trying to make it right." Instead what I got, "good enough," really wasn't.
