About 10 minutes before my scheduled time a nurse escorted me to the room and took my vitals. When she was done, she said the doctor would be in shortly. 35 minutes later - no doctor. The room was cold, my fingers were numb, and I had to get back to work so I walked over to the front desk and told them I was leaving. The next day I received a call asking me if I wanted to reschedule. I said no because I was afraid the doctor would be a no show again and I would find another doctor. Later that day I received another call asking me the same thing, and I gave the same answer. This time the scheduler told me there were two other doctors in the network at the same location and she could book me an appointment with one of them. In other situations the phone messaging system says there are too many messages and I can't leave a message. In other situations when I've had to cancel an appointment I get a barrage of text messages saying my appointment is coming up and I have to check in for it even though I have canceled the appointment both by leaving a message and responding to the text to say I cannot make the appointment. When I actually do have an appointment and go into the office to see Dr Shahinian, the staff are very nice so I find it quite baffling that they seem incapable of navigating their phone problems. it creates a situation where patients don't feel that the office is well run and like it or not that reflects poorly on the doctors. This has been going on for the entire three years that I have been a patient there so it seems to be a weirdly intractable issue.
