This place is a no-brainer: Awesome atmosphere. Excellent Service ... bartenders were friendly and personable! Our chicken and steak fajita with rice and beans was almost like homemade! Super yummy margaritas!! Affordable! Has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Manchester area.

Tried this place for the first time with a couple of friends and they had a good variety of Mexican food. Plenty of vegetarian options and interesting drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. Ambiance was very pleasant and it was packed on a Tuesday. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Several additional visits and it's still muy bueno plus. Juanita continues to excel at the masa game, churning out most excellent huaraches, tortillas and other corn masa centric delights. As well as doing an at your table guac creation, if desired. My only nit is that a recent camarones a la diabla was decidedly not diabla. Totally delicious but not spicy. Odd, since they clearly DO do spice, as shown with their salsa macha (wow - is THAT spicy!) Service continues friendly, atmosphere welcoming and food spot on.

It was our first visit here. The restaurant is located in strip mall. This might be the most stylish and high-end Mexican/ Latin restaurant in the Manchester area. The interior is very lovely and modern. They have a killer bar that looks like a great place to take a date on and drink some margaritas. The menu itself is very extensive, it is also quite pricey. The prices rival Los Angeles. They do have a lunch special, with limited choices. Still pricey, but maybe a better option if you're on a budget. Overall the service was good but communication was a bit strained. The food itself was of high quality and decent flavor. I appreciate the free chips and salsa given with the meal. They have an abuelita making the tortillas, and we were looking forward to those flour tortillas. However, compared to Los Angeles, the tortillas were quite delicate and broke apart when we tried to eat them. We will come here again, and maybe try their hard tacos. Couple issues to address for management, the music is quite loud at times and annoying. It prevents conversation. I would dial it down to like a 3 out of 10. Also, the menus themselves, at least our menus were poorly done. The bindings on them made them very hard to open and read as you can see from my menu photos.

I stopped in to Raices finally this weekend and found it to be as wonderful as everyone mentions. The food was delicious, quesadilla, rice, beans, and burritos. So much good food that it was hard to decide on what to have. I was thankful for the pick two and two. A little of everything. Sitting at the bar, I found the staff to be wonderfully friendly and the design of the bar is beautiful and so perfectly Mexican. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent New Mexican restaurant In Manchester. The food was awesome, the drinks are tasty, and many of them are served in unique cups. We also did a margarita flight which comes in a Ferris wheel!! Came in for lunch on a Saturday, had plenty of seats available in both the dinning room and the bar. Atmosher was cozy and nicely done. Staff was welcoming and freindly, and answered questions without issue. I started off with a spicy margarita which was great, my husband had the strawberry margarita which we both thought was a bit too sweet. We ordered Elotes and the Chorizo Dip appitizers, both were great, and would order again. We split a jumbo barrito and I'm happy we split it, it was pretty massive. Rice and beans that came in the borrito were spot on, and tasted fresh. I would deffintly come back.

Not your average food review. Everybody has a different palate so leave the taste up to you. My wife and I decided on a date day today and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT. El Rincon has been our favorite spot for years now. We need to hit this one up a few more times to see how consistent they are but wow very impressed. Exceptional service (The Best service we've received at a restaurant in a long time), great drinks, and delicious food. We really liked how the restaurant was split. The main restaurant offered more of a formal dining experience. Most areas were well lit but we chose to sit in the corner where it wasn't as bright. Not great for pictures but it was perfect for us. The bar area offers more off a vacation vibe. Very bright and colorful. The hand painted mural behind the bar is a must see. Great place to pop in got a quick bite for the day or stop in and have a drink after you eat dinner. The food was delicious. Both my wife and I agreed that this is easily some of the best Mexican food we have had. Fresh, flavorful and authentic. The side salad was a nice touch and the corn tortillas are a must with any meal. Dinnerware and glassware were right on point. Dessert was a perfect way to finish this amazing. Cant recommend the churros with a chocolate drizzle enough. We felt the pricing was very reasonable considering the level of service and the fresh, delicious authentic food. The attention to detail was very noticable. We could both tell that this isn't just a restaurant to this family and that they truly appreciated each and every single person that walked through their door. One random thing I wanted to finish the review with was we both liked the fact that they gave us both our own seperate little dish to pour salsa in. We really liked that idea especially if you are out with a bigger party. You dont have to wait your turn to dip your chip haha. Highly recommend

My husband and I tried this place today, based on the Yelp rating, and we were beyond pleased! The ambiance has a genuine Mexican feel. The drinks were not only delicious, they are beautifully presented. The food was authentic and fresh- and was soooo good! The portions are beyond generous, my burrito was about the size of me. We were most impressed by the service! Every person that walked by us, greeted us with a smile. Our bartender/ server (her name is Xi) is the epitome of tremendous customer service. Not only was she attentive and friendly, she was truly excited about the quality of food that she was serving us. I ordered my food and drinks based on her recommendations, she was right. Love the decor inside. We were greeted right away when walking in, sat down and chips and salsa arrived delivered right after we sat. I felt too many drinks had lots of sweet fruit. I ordered a low end tequila skinny margarita. Got the bill it was $17.99. Ouch, I would have ordered one of the sweeter drinks with higher end tequila and asked for none of the juice for $15.99. The glass and presentation were nice. Not very strong as my husband and I had not eaten all day so they should have had more of a punch. Waited awhile before we could order food. We order food and once it arrived the waiter never came back to see how things were, water glasses were not filled until we were finished. My husband would have liked hot sauce, as meal was a bit bland and asked if we wanted another drink. We were asked if we wanted another as we were boxing the meal up. We saw the guacamole, looked great but way too much for two people. Would be nice to have small and large size. Not a place to go just for drinks and apps, no ala carte food, all very large portions, most meals come as a plate with beans and rice. Popped in for the first time today and the food was good. Good chips and salsa. The Jarritos and Mexican cokes are about 4$ a pop. The Ranchero wings were good and ive never had anything like those before. Creamy and full of flavor. 17$ for about 10. The lunch chimichangas are good. The unrefried pinto beans was a first for me but they were good. The grilled chicken lunch chimi is about the size of a deep fried snickers for15$. The deep fried ice cream had me confused. Looked different than anywhere else ive tried. I wish there was more whipped cream and chocolate sauce. There wasnt even a drizzle on the ice cream, just a smidgen on the plate. All in all the service was exemplary and the food was pretty good. The restaurant table were decorated with seasonal pumpkin candles and the tvs had nice scenic views on them. We love good Mexican food and in the greater Manchester area, the food has been adequate at best. Raices has raised the bar for all others. We have dined there a number of times now and the food is the most authentic around. The food is fresh and they offer all kinds of interesting interpretations of classic Mexican dinners and not the typical TexMex you see at other places. This has become our go to Mexican in greater Manchester. read more

We had a wonderful lunch yesterday. The staff through out the restaurant was so friendly. Our waitress was Wendy & she was great. The drinks were so good & the food was delicious. We couldn't get over the great customer service. Beautiful decorations & so clean. I wish I lived closer, we stopped to meet a friend that lives in NH. Went last night as we heard the food was good. I was not expecting it to be anything different. I was wrong. Food was excellent! Fresh, well presented! Not the same old . Same old. Raices' food was FABULOUS, very respectful of my allergies, beautifully plated, AND offered exceptional service. My friend who has normal food needs also raved about her meal. Food was absolutely delicious and huge portions. They make their own tortillas in house. Whenever my wife and I go out, we will always notice the customer service, having worked in customer service ourselves. The staff here went above and beyond. Multiple staff members including the manager/ owner came by and asked how our experience/ food was. It was by far one of the best service we've experienced at a restaurant. We definitely plan on returning and most importantly, spreading the word about Raices! read more

If you go here, be sure not to attempt to exchange any pleasantries with the bartender, nor ask him any questions about the menu. He'll meet you with scowls, one word monotone responses, and an attitude so acerbic your taste buds might pucker. Seriously, Sunday night dude bartender is one of the most rude, unpleasant, inhospitable human beings I have ever encountered in my life. We were psyched to try this place out and his attitude drove us out before we even finished our chips and salsa. Unfortunate because the owners have clearly invested quite a bit of money in this place but we'll never be back and will be encouraging others to stay away. read more

Excellent Mexican restaurant. Our server, Edith, was great, offering drink/entree suggestions that were spot on. Tableside guacamole was the best we've had in a while. Portions are big enough to share or to def have leftovers for the next day. Prices on the higher side, but worth it. highly recommend! read more

We tell people about this place to be supportive! We've been trying to continue coming but unfortunately, the service and ambiance is not the same anymore. Music is always rock music, which can make us feel frazzled while we are trying to unwind... they have a jukebox you can pick songs but they pause it if they don't like what you're playing. Kinda rude... What's the point of a jukebox box!? We downloaded the app and bought credits specifically for that place only to be "paused"... not nice... especially if there are only less than eight customers... The old owners LBC were super friendly and engaging... the staff were also super cool, we always felt welcomed. The female bartenders are nice at Sunstone... I just hope the place improves and they make people feel welcomed and not like a nuisance... they should remove the jukebox if they don't want people playing music they actually enjoy while drinking. We specifically downloaded the app and bought a package of credits to only be stumped and paused by management and they played their music. We left... not sure if we will be back... Food is good. We have driven far to breweries we love but if service and ambience changes then unfortunately, it's not worth the distance for us.

Only two of us, and about 5 seconds after giving my drink order (while my partner was still ordering her drink) and getting a initial look of disapproval when ordering water on the waitress's first pass (wanted to look at the drink menu), I asked to swap the liquor in my Olde Fashion to something she mentioned under her breath when I first ordered it (took me a minute to process it). The waitress said it was "too late" with her handheld because it's instantly sent to the bar. If that's true, that's a pretty bad system, efficiency be damned. We were within earshot of many other tables - our waitress didn't explain dishes or specials like we saw/heard other servers doing (left us feeling regretful with our food choices), and she tried to take my card before I even opened the bill... this is after telling us we had to wait 15 minutes for a second round of bread (haha, which showed up 35 minutes later - petty, but annoying). Things were bad enough with the waitress that we actually asked to box up our mains shortly after receiving them (ate less than 10% of either). This was our second visit (first was takeout, which was great) and our first time dining in. Being in Customer Service and having a history in the restaurant industry, on the way out (after paying and tipping, aka not looking for a discount), I hesitated walking out the door and turned to ask for a manager. The front-of-house host said he'd speak as the manager and responded to everything with a sarcastic "that's unfortunate" / "that's our standards" / "that's too bad" / and sent us on our way. Not big complainers, hate doing it, but this one stuck with us, especially with the high praise and relatively premium prices this restaurant seemingly gets online -- bad taste service-wise, great taste food-wise. Looking around, most of the customers are of an older demographic, and again, most of the waitstaff seemed awesome (especially compared to ours). Would absolutely get the food again. However, as someone that lives on the North End of Elm St, I would never dine in again if this is what they consider acceptable service... what more can we do besides speak up about our concerns, after settling the tab... being told that's "normal" is gross in my opinion. Working in restaurants in the past, if that's their standard, then I distrust their entire approach to service.
