Can't give this provider a good review at all. Called to specifically come to repair a leak in our…read morefurnace that our PSE&G worry-free service did not cover. Did not come at the appointment time agreed upon, had to call twice to make sure he was still coming. Was not here very long but claimed he fixed the leak, but said our original problem was due to sensors that he could fix on the spot. As this was covered by worry-free, we declined. Paid and asked for an invoice but was told that "he had none with him" and would email me one (which he never did). Worry free returned and pointed out that the leak had not been fixed at all, the unit was still visibly leaking (which I could see with my own eyes) and that the other plumbers solution was incorrect and unnecessary, promising to come back again on the small chance he was wrong. Called Sherman and sent photos of the actual leak still occurring -- and he claimed that it was "normal" and would go away after "one full cycle." After pointing out that the other technician claimed it was NOT normal and that it would create problems, he agreed to come back to fix the leak properly - said to "call him in the morning". Asked if he could send the invoice he promised to email, and said he would give it in person when he returned. We called in the morning and never heard back, after several attempts he texted me that his car was suddenly having issues and he didn't know how long he would be. I asked him to let us know as soon as he was available again and he said he would -- and we literally never heard from him again. Never got that invoice either. Long story short, the unit is still leaking one week later and didn't "go away" -- so Sherman was either wrong OR lying about his diagnosis. It would appear he did zero to fix the problem he was contracted to fix, didn't honor appointment times or come promptly or when promised, didn't provide a proper invoice when asked, and did not return to properly fix the issue. We have had to call another party in to deal with this issue, so he has also been a major waste of time and money. Make your own conclusions if this gentleman and level,of service is worth the risk. But I certainly will not be calling upon him again.
