The gallery is packed with pieces,from sculptures to paintings. Pieces that capture both emotion, beauty and vision. The atmosphere is rich in taste as well as visual stimulation. Art is in the eye of the beholder and for me I beheld beauty on canvas. They have events, showcasing artists, that are a treat for the art interested. The staff are not just sales people they are guides to walk you through the works... each of them their own rendition of Virgil, there to walk you through your own private tour of the different levels of emersion. It was my first visit, so I wasn't completely sure what to expect. While on this occasion the focus was not the art, I would definitely consider a return visit when not for an event. The pieces that I did notice were beautiful and they handled the event very well. I'd definitely consider this place for a private event in the future.

The long-awaited Arts Center in downtown Alpharetta is open now in the building formerly occupied…read moreby the Alpharetta Library. A new library was built three years ago at 10 Park Plaza. The new Arts Center has already had two exhibits of art - a Community of Artists show at the end of 2018 and recently a show by JOEKINGATL otherwise known as Joe Dreher. They have been offering a good assortment of classes in painting and drawing and ceramics. More classes will be coming soon. Summer Camps will also be offered.

The center is one of the most beautiful man made creations I have seen in any city--with a blooming garden year round surrounded by a lake that reflects the colors of the trees and flowers. The architecture of the center is unique--when I first saw it--it took my breath. In addition to the clean facility, the staff are friendly, and even provide a well stocked coffee cafe with treats for anyone stopping by. The Roswell Visual Arts Center is truly a hidden gem you must explore. Wear your walking shoes so that you can walk around the lake.

The gallery features several local artists, one of my new favorites being Steven Lester. I have found at least four of his paintings that I really love! It just feels "hometown" to me each time I come in. The owners are incredibly gracious and welcoming! Very knowledgeable about the artists represented there. I couldn't recommend visiting this gallery more! Must see!

Since…read morewe were the only visitors here, we received the VIP tour and all of this nice gentleman's attention. :) Even though he was assisting in the garden, he popped in and out occasionally to see if we had questions and to give us a mini history of the piece we were viewing at the moment. He was VERY knowledgeable as he can spout out the origin of the artwork and artist's mini bio by memory. The artwork came all over: Spain, Russia, Italy, etc. There were water colored and oil paintings, sculptures, to even a few black light paintings. Yes, black light. When viewed under the black light, these piece will awe you. There will be a garden coming soon since it is a work in progress when we visited here this past Sat. From the plant's labels, there will be a variety of plant species. Although small and right in front of the gallery, you can sit and enjoy the sun's warmth and take in the nature's beauty. Even though this was a small gallery, it took about an hour to an hour and a half to fully enjoy the artwork and get the history of some of the pieces. And though I was here for the Motion and Light exhibit, I enjoyed the whole gallery and the guidance from the gentleman. I can't wait for the garden to be complete and for the warmer weather to arrive. Admissions to this place is totally free btw. And sometimes the artist will visit and meet and greet events are organized here as well.

I had a few hundred dollars worth of clothing and came across a sweatshirt with inappropriate messaging. Why risk doing that? Does it bring in more buyers that you want? We're in the middle of a worldwide crisis and something like this tears down our leaders and America vs. raising it up. I used to shop here all of the time. What a let down.
