The center is one of the most beautiful man made creations I have seen in any city--with a blooming garden year round surrounded by a lake that reflects the colors of the trees and flowers. The architecture of the center is unique--when I first saw it--it took my breath. In addition to the clean facility, the staff are friendly, and even provide a well stocked coffee cafe with treats for anyone stopping by. The Roswell Visual Arts Center is truly a hidden gem you must explore. Wear your walking shoes so that you can walk around the lake.

The gallery is packed with pieces,from sculptures to paintings. Pieces that capture both emotion, beauty and vision. The atmosphere is rich in taste as well as visual stimulation. Art is in the eye of the beholder and for me I beheld beauty on canvas. They have events, showcasing artists, that are a treat for the art interested. The staff are not just sales people they are guides to walk you through the works... each of them their own rendition of Virgil, there to walk you through your own private tour of the different levels of emersion. Stop in and experience visual emotion as well as audacious beauty.

It looks as though the owner of this gallery really enjoys art. Its everywhere. I even saw pieces on the walls of their office. A young woman who was passing out snacks told us some of the pieces were created by her father. They were breathtaking. I enjoyed the peacefulness and tranquility of this gallery. I really enjoyed all of the beautiful artwork as well.

I say just don't take any pictures and you will have no issues. I am surprised that no one has reviewed this little art gallery which is located upstairs from the Local Exchange Store. I thought that this would be just a hodge-podge of random art but No Ma'am, this is a bonafide, totally legit art gallery with the price tags to prove it. As we arrived upstairs, we were greeted by the friendliest attendant. However, I was not able to engage her, (she really spoke with my husband), because I was already engaged with the art. It was varied and beautiful. I really loved the wood sculptures by Joel Reines. His pieces were quite unique and very affordable. A couple of my favorite items were the classic truck covered in snow, an abstract of beautiful teal and blues and the slightly creepy Little Red Riding Hood photo with these tall commanding trees and little Red walking by all alone. Whoooo!. Creepy but in a cool way and it would be the perfect piece to place in a hallway or along a stair way. Unfortunately this artist definitely did not want her work photographed and I can't recall her name. However, if I remember correctly, this piece was $1200. Merry Christmas! What a gem, so glad we discovered this cool little gallery!

We entered and were greeted very warmly. Wifey informed the lady what she was looking for and she personally walked us directly to the booth. So this place is not just for craft supplies it is a huge market with everything you can think of. We checked out the craft booth we wanted to visit and then we walked around the whole facility, which is basically the size of a warehouse. There were plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Anything you're looking for; from original art to clothing to furniture is available. The staff was very friendly, asking us multiple times if we needed help finding anything. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

My son takes night classes here and loves it!…read more I found them by chance and immediately did some digging to discover more. Having taken many art classes myself I wanted to be sure that this was a good place to send my son for him to expand his love of art. I talked directly to the owner and felt good about it. I decided to try it and so far my son loves it! He does the extended class which is 1.5 hours long and not just the reg hour. At times I think he wishes it was longer... lol. The cost is reasonable but on the website they don't have a way to pay for the 6 months extended class and get the discount. I had to talk to the owners again and it was a bit messy getting that all taken care of. However it has been very worth it! I would sign my son up again in a heart beat. And will keep him going as long as he wants to go.

Her first piece of art that she brought home was a drawing of an old man and there was no story or pride from the work, she just shrugged. My 6-year-old LOVES art, I've never seen her be nonchalant about art so I pulled her out and she's in a different program now, thriving. She should be psyched about her work. This place might be great for older kids but I'd find something less prescriptive for the younger students.
