    House beer! Rails and Ales!!!
    Tomica D.

Let me just say that I love this place!!! The atmosphere is always good and the people are soooooo friendly!!! They have a great drink menu(which changes) and they have different food trucks that come out on Thursday, Friday and s. They have wifi and they are kid and pet friendly (must be accompanied by an adult if under 18) Wendsday night they have trivia and on Tuesday nights they have family feud. Friday,Saturday and Sunday you can expect to be serenaded by live music. You have a choice to sit inside at a table or at the bar or outside on the deck. This place is so worth giving a chance!

Absolutely love this place! Great atmosphere and super friendly. We brought our kids and hung out on the back patio on Taco Tuesday. I love the variety of trucks they bring in!

    Very diverse selection of brews!

Stopping in for a brief moment I had a flight of the beer selections I normally gravitate to. This brewery offers a variety of genre's from ales to stouts. Of the few I did try I must say that I'll have to come back and sample the others.

Love this place! Only 10 mins from my house. They always have changing beers and great food trucks usually Thursday - Saturday. Can't get enough.

Great atmosphere! Large selection of craft beers on tap. Usually a food truck and often live music on the weekends.

Very laid back. Small crowd. Not sure if it was a slow Saturday evening or the norm when i was there.

Overall consistently have been happy with everything I have eaten, but I will say that while still pretty good the burgers are not as good as they were early on. One of the big draws for me has always been the outdoor patio area that is shared with the other businesses that are part of the Trussville Entertainment District (TED). The covering over the area keeps you out of the direct sun but still has a very open air feel. On my most recent visit I got the Feral Smash Burger with Cheddar instead of American Cheese. I ordered the tots for my side because I swore that I had gotten them many times in the past. Looking back at all my photos, clearly I was mistaken. Since I am not a big fan of sweet potato the bartender brought me fries instead to go with my side of Beer Cheese which is well worth the added cost. Depending on when you go, you may have to go inside to order at the bar for the outdoor seating (such as I did today). Other days when the TED is busier and peak times you can order at the outdoor bar. For solo lunch dining I prefer other options in the TED but Ferus is great for groups and outdoor dining. I am sure I will be back especially when my daughter comes to town since she likes to refill her growler with the seasonal sours.

First of all let me tell you this is a Safe Space for LGBTQ people. Sarah, Leslie, and Austin are legends. The whole staff is so sweet and the people are really friendly. There's another really cute guy who tends bar and I am so bad with names it kills me. I popped in a few weeks after they opened and I'm now a weekly regular. Best of all, NO ONE UNDER 18 Allowed! So no kids running around. It's a dream come true. The bar has a great selection of canned and bottled beers with a Happy Hour that helps your wallet. A good selection of wine and liquor to. No draft as of yet, but ya don't need it. My Usual order is a IPA and a Shot of Fernet. But I can never leave without a Resting Peach Face Frozen Cocktail or a Bushwhacker. Ask for a Fernet Topper on you're Bushwhacker. I call it the Emmy Jane Special, no one else does XD. Trust me it works. I love the Egg Rolls and The Burgers.
