many times over the last 10 years I have yet to have a bad experience. I recently had their sushi and it was a huge roll that I could barely finish. I believe it cost $20 next time I need to order half because it was so big that I could I couldn't finish it so I was so full. This speaks to the quality of the high standard of food that they provide. I love the ambience deceiving and even the room that you can reserve our large party here this is graduation and have a really good time. It's a traditional sit on the floor high for holes in the ground. Be careful of the holes. Some people fell in, but it was really fun. is it the best thai Food I ever had? No but it's exceptional.

My order came from the Broad Street location. I did get the dinner portion so that I would have leftovers. My order was delivered extremely fast and it was hot when it arrived. I got an order of crispy spring rolls, they were delicious and the Classic Pad Thai, medium sauce, and with chicken, shrimp, and pork. Meat didn't have much flavor but I used the sauce to take care of that.

The last time I was here, it was years ago when I was a college student. I have fond memories eating here with friends in the cool ambiance of the "Rain Room" and sharing bites of mango sticky rice. I came here with a friend visiting from out of town. We were seated pretty quickly. To my surprise, I had no idea they served sushi here so we got the California roll. My friend had some type of curry, I think the Red Curry with tofu. And I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken at medium spice. Usually I order Pad Thai at different restaurants with medium spice and it's been the level of spicy that I expect. However this time, my Pad Thai wasn't spicy at all. If anything, it tasted mild with slightly spicy pockets here and there in between the noodles. So I was pretty disappointed at the spice level. Other than that aspect, my Pad Thai was good. It was flavorful, nutty, and had the perfect amount of sauce to noodle ratio. The noodles had a good consistency and the veggies were crunchy and fresh. Sushi was tasty as well. Our server checked up on us multiple times and was friendly. However at the table we were seated at, we were lacking a couple things like soy sauce and spicy/hot sauce. Although our server was quick to get us what we needed. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.5/5.

Rain Thai Bistro has become my go to lunch spot for a quick filling meal when on a work trip at the Chattanooga Airport. My colleague and I come for their lunch special, where we split a shrimp shumai and I order a curry dish. The meal sizes are appropriate to not put you in an afternoon slump and keep you full until dinner time. The flavors are good and the price is appropriate.

Rain's Thai Fried Rice was the best restaurant fried rice I've ever had. It reminded me of the fried rice my Lola made. I'd highly recommend the crispy rolls, too. They taste similar to Lumpia and are soooo delicious and flavorful. I just wish they had better sauce for dipping. A sweet chili sauce, like Mae Ploy, would've been great with the rolls. Our server was fast and had a great memory. He refilled our drinks before we even had to ask. Ambiance was clean, lots of booth, but nothing to provide a memorable experience. If I was a local, I'd order my food to-go or get delivery. Would recommend!

My coworker and I went here for dinner, on a Monday. They were busy we put our name on the list and waited. The host ask us if we wanted to sit at the sushi bar we said sure as long as we could eat there. We sat here and it took 15 mins for someone to wait on us and that is because we had to flag someone down. By the time we got a server he said he didn't know he had the sushi bar area today. But he didn't seem sorry or anything and not prepared to wait on us. After finally ordering the food did take some time for it to come out, but our waiter never said anything to us about this. My low rating is really a reflection of the service and not the food I have nothing but praise for the food and drinks. Food came out as orderI do wish the rain noddles came with more sauce. Everything was fresh and loved every bite of it .

Stopped by this place on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and efficient. They did have a private seating area that was Japanese style where you get to sit on cushions on the floor with a low table. We wanted to order Thai tea, but they were out which is super unfortunate for a Thai restaurant. We ordered spicy basil noodles, panang curry and spicy basil fried rice all medium spicy. I've never seen panang curry with this red of a color before but it was absolutely delicious. All the portion sizes for the price were decent and there was not a single miss. I was personally a fan of the way they cooked their tofu. Nice ambience and atmosphere & of course vegetarian friendly. Highly recommend to those on the way or in the area! Would definitely visit again.

Spicy noodles are the best. And the atmosphere and service makes you realize the reason they have won the best Thai food year after year.

As such, having had Thai all over the US, I can say that this place is solidly in my top-15 locations! Ordered the PadThai and spring rolls. The rolls were generic frozen rolls you can get anywhere, but they were hot and well fried. The PadThai was quite good though and well made. I wish their spice platter had included some Prik Nam Pla, as I like that salty chili flavor, but the food didn't really need it. I knew it would be good when I could hear the wok working behing the counter and overheard the workers speaking Thai. I would say that their 'ThaiHot' was only about a general 'Hot', and definitely an Americanized 'Hot'. Regardless, would recommend and I will be back if my travels bring me close again.

I routinely meet people there for lunch or eat dinner there with my husband, and now I realize I've been taking something wonderful for granted. So go there already! Try the pho. Eat the Pad Thai. My one caveat is that if one person orders the cashew delight and the others don't, they spend the whole meal being jealous of the one who did. But it's all fab!

We've had a lot of Thai food around town, but we always come find our way back to Yummy Thai food truck. We tried the brick and mortar which is owned by the same family, but the food truck is much better tasting, and the service is much faster since it's a food truck vS a restaurant. There isn't much of an ambiance, since it's parked outside of Dirty Jane's Antiques, so I would recommend they add a pop up tent with a table and chairs (if allowed) for those who want to devour the food immediately, and to also draw more attention to the business. You text the business number, list what you want, and give your name, call back number, and pickup time. I literally copied and pasted from the previous text every time using the same template and just changed the food items, for 2+ years. Never had any problem until a couple weeks ago. The owner missed the time, tried to say I didn't list a pickup time, and got an attitude when I responded by sending him a screenshot showing that I did specify a time, as always. I decided to just cancel the order, still 1 hour in advance, and went somewhere else. He responded to this by blocking my phone number, effectively banning me. This is petty, vindictive, and highly unprofessional behavior towards a loyal customer who has supported his business with literally thousands of dollars over 2+ years, all because the owner had to act like someone else was at fault for his simple mistake. I wasn't even upset at all! I was just trying to alert him as rapidly as possible when I realized he had the time wrong so they didn't start the order early. Basic Customer Service - All this guy had to do was say "Oh, I didn't see that, see you at 6pm." No big deal. Instead he gets an attitude and bans a loyal customer for no reason who didn't even say anything negative to him. Completely unhinged. See a therapist dude. It was a mistake supporting that business all this time.
