I love that the portion sizes are large enough that you can still take leftovers home. There is also a lot to choose from on the menu. Not going to lie though, I suspect that my order were left overs from the table next to me. They got Thai fried rice served to their table as well before I gave the server my order. They looked like they were waiting a good while for their Thai fried rice too. They were eating other dishes while waiting, while mine came out five minutes after ordering. Portions may have looked a little off as well... that might just be me being paranoid though. Regardless, food was pretty average. I arrived at 12:01 PM on a Wednesday for a group lunch with 2 co-workers. One of my co-workers already had a table, so I didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered the Mango Shrimp for lunch, and for dessert, I ordered the Sticky Rice with Mango. I want to note that they were out of coconut ice cream, and they apparently only had 1 mango left for the sticky rice. So dessert offerings my not be that readily available during the lunch hours. It took 6 minutes and 19 seconds for our table's lunch to arrive, and the dessert took 5 minutes and 35 seconds to arrive. Everyone's lunch came with a spring roll and a cup of ginger dipping sauce. Regarding the lunch, I would've liked more rice with my order, but the food was really good and not spicy. The dessert was really good, too. I do want to note that the waitress didn't ask about how the check would be split and just gave us 1 check. Thankfully, we were able to split it out to 3 separate checks at the front. I'll also note that while it wasn't really packed when we arrived, it got busy quick (to the point where people had to wait to be seated). Regarding the bathroom, its a single bathroom. It was fairly well kept, but the toilet handle was broken that day, so hopefully it gets fixed soon. Also, the bathroom had a paper towel dispenser and not a hand blower. I was very pleased with this little gem of a Thai restaurant. We were early dinner guests so the first ones in but soon more people started coming in and also to go orders. Everything I ordered came out fairly fast and delicious. The spicy squid was a bit to crispy for me meaning a bit tough but I managed to eat it anyway because it tasted yummy. The Red curry was spicy and fabulous and my appetizers Tuna TarTar was excellent. I lastly asked if he could make me a spicy tuna hand roll which lived up to its name. I was looking for lunch with sushi but it was after 2pm so Rain was out (no sushi between 2 and 4) so I found this place on Yelp. It's not too far off the interstate and the left turn to get there is at a light, so easy to get to. Plenty of parking. I ordered a lunch combo - Pad Ka Pow, chicken, and it came with a spring roll and coconut soup. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll. The lunch combo was very tasty. The coconut soup was a surprise. I really liked it! I am not a coconut soup base type of gal, but this may have converted me. The sushi was sooooo disappointing. Needed to get a sushi fix and was back down in Ooltewah, so I stopped in Thai Chili to try more. There was a bit of misunderstanding about the specifics of my sushi but they went above and beyond to fix it. The only reason I am doing four stars instead of five stars is because of the misunderstanding. We will definitely be regulars here in future! I will say that having looked at their menu online, I was a little disappointed when we went and found out their full menu is not available at lunch, but in the end it didn't matter because our food was delicious and the service was fantastic! We ordered the pad Thai lunch which is a fantastic deal, you get the pad Thai, coconut soup, and a spring roll for just $10. We also order the sushi lunch combo, which came with a California roll, shrimp tempura roll, and coconut soup for $10.95, so also a great deal!
