I HIGHLY recommend Albert and his company! There were serious drainage issues on my property and that created unseen mold in my home to the extent I became quite ill and had to move out. The mold situation required extensive and extremely expensive remediation work to resolve, all with "out of pocket" money as insurance will not cover water damage that is not "sudden and accidental." I had various drainage contractors, a foundation specialist and an Engineer give their expert opinions to prevent further drainage issues however, their approach was over the top and contradictory. I located Rain Water Systems on Yelp and asked Albert to come out and look over the multiple problems with the property. Albert and his crew were timely and solved all of our drainage issues with an intelligent and reasonable assessment and estimate. These rains we've been experiencing (winter 2020) have been the true test of an expert in the field. We had serious flooding in our garage from poor drainage management of our mid-60's home, and Albert immediately suggested a *real* trenched drainage system which also connected to our grey water washing machine drain, and took all of it to our garden in the lower part of the yard. A true win-win for us and the plants, and with these current storms we can say all is still flowing great! As a side note, previous owners had standard downspouts from rain gutters, and Albert suggested installing the much more esthetically pleasing rain chains we now have. They work better for our needs, and direct water farther away from our foundation. They also offer a less forceful flow into our garden than downspouts would. I have a basement style garage, which would flood with water every time it would rain continuously. The hydrostatic pressure of the water would come through cracks in the wall and even up through the concrete floor. After many meetings and quotes with other companies, I was so happy Albert was able to fit me in his busy schedule and provide me a quote. My husband and I had been research storing rain water for the last few years and he was using unsightly trash cans to store rain. We found Rain Water systems on Facebook and were happy that they were a local small business as we didn't know that there were companies that did this as a profession. Albert came out and did a calculation of our roof area and we were blown away by how much water comes off the roof in a small rain storm; it was much more than we thought. We bought what he called a medium sized system. He explained everything in detail and we had our tanks in a little over one week later. We can now collect about 6,500 gallons per year off only half of our home and we are stoked because our water rates are outrageous. We had ongoing water issues for two years since buying this house, which has been neglected for 80 years. Albert was very flexible with what and how much he was going to do for us--up to, and including the day he started digging. After seeing all the great reviews for this company, we decided to hire Albert and his crew to put in a channel drain with sump pumps to prevent our garage from flooding during the rainy season. They also installed a couple of push/pull fans beneath our crawl space to prevent the moisture build up. We just got our first dose of rain and I have a dry garage and crawl space. We recently had a water drainage system installed by Rain Water Systems with an auto pump due to poor drainage around the North side of our house. Albert the owner provided us with a fair price. This kind of work is very labor intensive. Albert and his crew did an excellent job installing the system, and left the area nice and clean.
