Awful place. Backyard breeding/hoarding at its finest. Dogs are bred even at the age of 7-10 years old. Multiple dead dogs found on the property. Puppies born outside where they freeze to death and die. The place is full of rats, in water buckets, everywhere. There are almost 70 dogs on the property. Pictures below: Cookie, now dead. One of the puppies that was born in the cold, mom was so stressed she ate her puppies that is his missing foot. Litter of Lucy's puppies that froze to death outside. More rats. Picture of the trailer porch that her "stud" Smokey lives on. Puppies in the kennels "under the trees" that have never been out of them. Picture of the "welping room" that has concrete floors. (The last litter yes, she did keep them in her bathroom because the others were dying outside.) 6 horses on the property with ZERO access to shelter. Dogs are not up to date on vaccines and do not have rabies vaccine at all. No access to vet care. People have tried to adopt her senior girl dogs, she will not let them go for less than $1,200. The dog we adopted from this breeder had been taken from Rainbow Australian Shepherds due to neglect and abuse. Our dog is still recovering from mange, an upper respiratory infection, food/water deprivation and no socialization. 30 of his relatives were found deceased on the property. I'm sorry the intervention by Hall county took so long; maybe some of these pups wouldn't have died due to exposure, starvation and medical neglect. read more

Copied from original post This is a licensed breeder in Clermont, Ga that I had permission from the owner to be on her property. I have found 3 litters of puppies frozen because they were born outside without any sort of dog house or anything. I found another dog that she was aware was sick dead in his dog run with his brother. I found cookie dead who she also refused to take to the vet. In September 2021 hall county animal services found almost 20 dead dogs on the property but allowed her to continue to operate. I sent in an open records request for previous inspections and was told they have all been purged. At this time, she has not officially surrendered the dogs to Hall County. They removed them last Thursday and gave her two weeks to get her kennel up to what they consider code and if she is able to do that, they will give her the dogs back, even though there have been multiple dead dogs over the years found dead due to neglect. She has been throwing dead dogs into her neighbors property that was also reported to Hall County. They told the neighbor they are not going to press charges on her because they believe she is too old. But apparently she is not too oldto have 70 dogs, 3 of them are pregnant +6 horses. read more

Called asking an honest question if they had miniature aussies to which Rainbow Australian Shepherds responded with " I'm sorry you're an idiot because you're from Mexico" Response to the owner, My thoughts exactly, the fact that you guys sit here and lie on my behave, painting me as some tyrant that called over the phone is completely untrue, and I most uncertainty did not leave the beginning of the conversation out I stated it in my original review if you would have read it. You guys went on to say that my dog wasn't a real Australian shepherd whatever that means, if you guys did your research as proper breeders you guys would know that the mini Aussie is a recognized breed by the AKC which were breed in North American with other Australian shepherds until they reached the desired height. Ok, so this breeder is maybe a little crazy (and preachy! Expect LOTS of unsolicited advice) but dang, the dog we got from her is just about as perfect a dog as I've ever had. Such a great temperment; smart, loving, snuggly, always happy and just adorable! She's probably my favorite furry family member of all time. In the future I wouldn't hesitate to come back for another Aussie from Rainbow, although I'd probably pay to just have a pup shipped and avoid any face-to-face interaction if possible. read more

THERE IS NO WAY I COULD POST "NO STARS!" This woman is incredibly rude, does not listen to what you are looking for and yells at you for not knowing what to ask for! I simply called her on the phone to discuss color and what she offers and she was so rude that she used swear words to tell me that I knew nothing! It wasn't a matter of not knowing anything, I simply wanted to ask questions about what she had. I could not even get a word in! I don't trust any breeder who doesn't care about her customers. It makes me wonder if she really cares about her dogs and if she is just selling to make money. A glorified puppy mill! My advice is to not support her! Go elsewhere or your life will be miserable as she tries to make it.
