We have a puppy and two older dogs who love the puppy but so not want to play as much as the puppy. Here Otis can run free with friends and play as much as he wants under the watchful eyes of the staff. He comes home happy and exhausted and wanting to go back. The staff here is awesome. They love animals and they get the love back. They take pictures and videos of the day and you get a report card about your pet for the day. We love it cause we like to know he is happy and doing well when away from us. They have inside and outside play. They have toys and obstacles and even a pool. Everything your dog could want they have here. If you don't wanna leave your dog in daycare you can sign up for the dog park and play with your dogs and any others in a secure dog parks. All dogs under go temperament testing and have to have all the shots so you know your kids are playing with the good kids. I highly recommend yard mutts and maybe Otis and I will see you there

I typically place my dog once a week in daycare and have her nails trimmed once a month. I feel safe and trust leaving my dog at Yard Mutts. Each time I receive via email a report card of my dogs behavior and which dogs she has interacted with a long with a few photos. I would recommend this place 100%.

I found them on Yelp and when I asked our vet for a boarding recommendation, they mentioned The Pet Resorts. I called to schedule my dog's "vacation." They took down all of my information and sent me an email with everything we agreed upon, including a furminator bath and groom. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They also seemed very knowledgeable. I received an email and phone call reminder of our dog's stay with them. They suggested that I fill out the new customer packet prior to arriving. However, I had printer issues and was not able to. They printed it for me when I arrived and I filled it out in their spacious lobby. It was lengthy and thorough. Their nightly rate of $40 per dog is for their Standard Runs, $52 per dog for their Pet Suites. Add $5 per night per dog during Holiday periods. Half day fee for pickups after 1 PM. Pick-up and drop off anytime during their business hours. When I picked up my fur baby, he looked so good! Probably the best groom he's ever gotten. We were very impressed. They also gave me a report card that accurately described his personality. He was definitely tired when he got home. The Pet Resorts board cats as well. They offer a pet taxi to pick up and drop off your pet for an additional charge. We will continue to use TPR for our dog's future vacations.

You can tell the team loves what they do and loves dogs - Kennesaw is always greeted with a happy hello. She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

My truck broke down and had to be repaired in Maryland so we were a week late getting back. I knew the food would run out so I called and spoke to the manager. My dog was on a special diet. I told the manager to go to Hamby Road Animal Hospital to get more food and have them call me for my credit card. No one followed through and when we got back my dog had lost two pounds because she wasn't getting enough to eat. It was very noticeable when I picked her up. Then Covid started and the lobby shut down. There were less employees too so for years now I've never seen the dogs outside like I used to. Plus our dog seemed hoarse the second to last time she was boarded there which struck us as odd. Last March 2023, I had to have surgery. We boarded our dog for only two nights. When she was picked up, not only was she hoarse again but she had to poop 3 times in a row. So we surmised she was put in her room and ignored. She would only bark if she need to go out or wanted her play and walk times I was paying for. Our dog was so well house broken that she held her poop and barked to be taken out so much she got hoarse. We decided that she would never go there again. She is dead now from cancer but the two trips we made last year before she got sick, we took her with us. We decided not to use this place anymore.
