It had a great flavor to it and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and hit the right spot for a cookie lover like me. The store itself is very small, but we just took our cookie on our continuing walk towards our next destination. Given the size of the cookie it was very reasonably priced. Overall: A+ An absolute must stop for anybody with a sweet tooth. Definitely give the gigantic cookie a go. Some insist that authentic pie must have a meringue topping and dismiss whipped cream as inferior. What often gets overlooked in that debate is the crust. It doesn't matter how tall the meringue is if the crust falls apart. That's why Mattheessen's Key lime pie is my favorite. The filling and the crust are both excellent. The custard is silky and tart, with bright lime flavor, and it sits on a buttery graham cracker crust that's firm enough to hold its shape from first bite to last. It was delicious all the way through. In a town full of strong opinions about Key lime pie, this one earns my vote.

So when we came to Key West this week, I knew what I wanted, but we have not been able to find them. So I found their phone number and I called them and she actually came to us! And it was the most incredible shaved ice experience yet again! They have the best customer service if you call them and they come to you!
