Robert came in and suggested he just give us a fixed price (with better fixtures) so there's no confusion. We were fine with that and were pleasantly surprised when his fixed price was at the very low end of the spread we expected. He also had to repair a broken underground line at no added charge and the outcome is better than the original. Robert was great to work with, a very nice guy, and very honest and forthcoming. AFHHS responded by visiting in a couple of hours and providing a preliminary assessment. A deep dive evaluation was scheduled for later in the week. The technician who arrived was very knowledgeable and thorough in his evaluation, pointing out a couple of things that contradicted the original evaluation by the first company. Although the AF technician indicated the furnace was a bit undersized for the square footage of our home, he said the furnace was in reasonable condition for being 11 years old. He recommended a thorough cleaning of the furnace in the spring before committing to purchasing a new furnace. We are very pleased with the results of calling AFHHS and will be looking forward to their service in a few months.

One was about 14 foot up and another two about 12 foot high. The rest could be reached with a step ladder. They charged $500. Seems excessive for the less than an hour and a half they spent. The quality of their work was great, they wore shoe coverings and vacuumed up their work areas. I was just dismayed by the amount they charged. (originally rated one star) They didn't simply unplug the old and plug in the new. They removed an adapter from the hard wired smoke detector and wired in a new plug. (less then 5 minutes per detector). I appreciated that they did the job right. Upgraded from one star to two, based solely on price.

Because it was electrical in nature and I work in insurance and see a lot of house fires (due to electrical issues), we opted to replace. The process was smooth and the team was amazing. They even brought out a generator so I could hook up my laptop for work. I see a lot of negative reviews and not sure why. Home repairs aren't generally cheap. I understand why they charge to come out to bid - it's time out of someone's day, gas, scheduling, etc. The inspection went great. We are relieved our problem was resolved. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. These people are scammers! We had trouble with our airflow,…read moremeaning that our AC was working but the fan system was not blowing. The tech came to check things out. In less than 5 minutes he told me that a whole system would need to be replaced, but he couldn't give an estimate without a project coordinator. I paid the service call fee (which I think I should be refunded) and sent the inept tech on his way. We got a second opinion. The tech from a different company listened carefully when I explained everything. He did his inspection/diagnostic and after a very thorough assessment, he said that one of our capacitor wires was not connected. He reconnected the wire, also made sure all other connections were correct. NOTHING needs replaced! However, if the first tech wasn't so inept, we wouldn't have found the PERFECT company. Stay away from this place!​​
