I frequently shop here for my dad although there is a Piggly Wiggly in Montezuma I prefer this location. It's clean and it's "deodorized" meaning you don't smell bloody meats. Some grocery stores have that mildew old smell. Not this store. Floors, countertops, and freezers were clean. Freezers and shelves were fully stocked. Mind you this is Easter Weekend so it was busy. Parking lot was full. Cashiers on post and there are 2 self checkout lanes. The Deli was busy. I glanced at the hot bar - fried/baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots , biscuits, and banana pudding. Customer service top tier. Cashiers greet you as you walk in and at checkout. After I waited for 15 minutes with other items roasting in my car in 90° weather, the Customer Service with authority to help me (who had told a fellow employee that she would help me) returned with three or four boxes of 12 mini diet cokes. I reiterated that I only wanted 2 six packs of the mini cans, none of which were on the shelf. She told me there were none in back. I asked her if since there weren't any of what I needed, I had to pay full price for the larger box that I did not want or if she could give me a discount (maybe the same price as 12 would cost in the BOGO?). She dismissively told me that I had to pay full price if I only bought one box. I consider that neither "working with me" as a customer nor Customer "SERVICE." frankly, I was shocked and appalled at her attitude and lack of desire to help a customer. She had no apparent desire to help me as one of her customers. Her attitude does not reflect the customer orientation that I have known in any other Publix in any state in my life. I am grateful that there are now two Publixes in LaGrange and I will do all that I can to shop at the Publix at Merganser Commons instead of the one on Commerce in the future.

It's conveniently located within a 1/2 mile of I-75 on Exit 187. The restrooms were clean and service was great. I was holding a bag of ice and rather than letting me wait in line for the next available self scanning register, the associate that was managing the registers rang me up.
