I was charged 500.00 dollars. 186.00 for the physician who took off my toenail, 250.00 for the facility use, and 60.00 plus for a phone call to see how my toe was healing. I was told my insurance company, if I went to doctor's office, it would only cost 200.00 dollars. This was a regular doctor's office. They bill you as much as possible. I had trouble with them once before for overbilling, so shame on me for trusting them again. Will never go to UC health again. I don't have any trouble with other health care facilities.

If something concerns them, they will let me know. Beverly told me I should check on a medication.... Emily Ulster even volunteered to check for me and this particular medical clinic puts you on hold for a half an hour. This motivated me to check .. because I was so amazed that she volunteered to check for me It turned out Nurse Emily was right... I had misunderstood when to stop taking the medication and she saved me a lot of potential health problems. There's even the possibility she could've saved my life. Sarah is always on the ball and she always checks patiently . Like an angel. . Thank you Sarah for being so wonderful There was a nurse named Megan Once I went in for something routine. She left the room for a little while, and soon the room filled with fireman I didn't know if there was a fire drill or what but apparently they were there to take me to the hospital I don't think Megan believed me when I said I would go right away to Anshutz and part of being a fantastic, nurse is intuition Megan was right I lied I didn't really think I needed to go, but it turned out. .. Megan probably saved my life because the pain was a heart attack. Thank you Megan . You have a gift gift You make everyone's life better and sometimes you save their life. And by the way, your extra wedding was extra extraordinary Beautiful. My life threatening event was a number of years ago BUT today I'm healthy and happy because Megan wouldn't take no for an answer.... Proactive There are so many other nurses that are so wonderful. I have not mentioned them, but in my heart, I always admire and respect such gifted professionals. I have often wondered how the University of Colorado could've found so many good nurses INCREDIBLE NURSES who change lives daily by their care,.... Yes of course I appreciate the extra work, ... I am humbled by your efforts, It seems impossible that UCH found such amazing daily by nurses. But it happened. Emily Sarah Megan... and the others I have not named. But they are always in my heart Thank you.

After a week, I found out that the person that I'd left the paperwork with has never given it to the doctor and no one could find it. I reprinted and dropped off form again. When I received the completed, some information was missing that needed to be included. I asked for a letter to be written and what the letter needed to say to fill in the gaps that were not covered in the form. Instead of doing as I asked, I was given a newly dated copy of a letter that I'd previously been given that didn't provide the needed information. I stressed to everyone that I spoke with regarding this matter why it was so important and the timeframe which I had to work within. I never received what I needed. They are all very nice people, my impression now is that they don't care. This matter was very important to me, but I don't feel that I as a patient, or a customer matter to them. I went to the doctor because I was not feeling well. I didn't need this in top of already being sick.

We love Stapleton Peds! Dr. Brandon is our primary. As a pediatric RD it was important for me to…read morefind a pediatrician that supported breastfeeding and was knowledgeable about nutrition. Not only was Dr. Brandon up to date on healthy feeding practices, he also recommended an amazing lactation consultant that came to our house. He makes us feel good about the health decisions we are making and encourages us to ask questions when we feel somethings off. He has great bedside manner and explains the "what's and why's" which is very helpful to us as new parents (especially for my husband). We have also seen Jordan, PA-C and his nurse Megan who were amazing and got us through our first ear infection. They both called to check on us over a holiday weekend and answered questions we had about additional problems that arose from the antibiotics. We felt supported and knew our baby was in great hands. I totally agree with the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." We're so glad Stapleton Peds is part of our village!

I have to fire Colorado Kids Pediatrics. My son has had iron deficiency anemia for *three years*…read moreand they never wondered why it wasn't getting better, even after oral supplementation. He's a super compliant kid, too - he took the pills. I was the one who had to ask for a hematology referral because they didn't ask themselves why an otherwise healthy BOY (not menstruating) would be iron deficient. He also had an elevated liver enzyme lab in February. There was no recommendation for follow up, so again, I had to have them order a repeat test to see if there was a trend. It took *6 phone calls* for them to put the order in correctly. The lab resulted with another elevated ALT. This is a meaningful indicator that he could have NAFLD, a totally treatable liver condition...if it's recognized. You bet your bottom I'm not going to follow up with Colorado Kids Pediatrics. I'd just have to tell them what the next steps are and what labs to put in. I'm so mad; why aren't they able to do their job? If I wasn't a provider myself, he wouldn't be getting appropriate treatment for his iron deficiency and the elevated ALT would have gone unnoticed.

After months of waiting for an appointment, we finally were able to meet with Dr. Fran I believe with the main goal of getting a geriatrics referral. He is supposedly my mom's primary doctor. When she went into the ER not once but twice zero follow up. Today's appointment was rescheduled. I also tried to get me transferred over thinking it would be great to have my mom and I both going to the same location. Dr. Fran is very young. He's not followed up once. And after 9 months of waiting and trying to get a simple "I thought" referral still has not taken place. My transfer after waiting two months for my appointment to come around I was notified the day before that if I do show up for my appointment it will be a 100% self pay. They had two months to transition me from one UC Health primary who is in Earie, CO to this location. The location is great , nice parking lot, easy access. But that doesn't matter if they can't do the job. I highly recommend going to an office that has a front office and back office adequate staff. The manager did call me back and assist with why my insurance was not being accepted. But once again the day before my appointment. Now after waiting 9 months for my mom and 2 months for me we've achieved one appointment and zero referral and they canceled today's appointment saying the doctor is going into a procedure. Which I understand, if he has to attend to a patients needs that absolutely comes first. But you'd think the front office could get us on with a nurse, a manage, someone to give us answers. VS let's reschedule you out for who knows how long. My mom is in need of adequate care and this location and doctors have absolutely failed us. I hate to say "do better". On behalf of other real people in the world that are just needing descent care, after 4 ER visits for my mom, and unfortunately for me transitioning. This is not worth the wait or investment when it comes to your health. I'd go to UC Health Cherry Creek, or some other location, or try another healthcare provider if you're in my situation. Don't wait around or you might be very disappointed like my mother and I. And she unfortunately has no other options but going to Swedish ER who does a great job. But we're in the ER for UTI's when her primary should simply help us out, do his job, and care for his patients. I am venting. Because we're back to square one. And if you're a new patient, I'd hate for you to go through what we are going through. Prayers!
