this place looks really nice to the eye but they absolutely destroyed my fingers. I requested powder with tips, which they claimed to know how to do but they made every finger with a different shape and size and I literally had to show them how to fix it. my skin was bleeding and she assured me that it was just the color but no it was indeed my skin and then my fingers were gushing blood. at the end she AGAIN tried to clean the so called color which was actually blood so I bled again horrible place. never come here. they gave me a coupon at the end because I think they finally realized they screwed up. bad. read more

Tried this place for the first time. It was empty with just 4 workers. Very overpriced. Space is clean and they offered drinks at beginning of service, owner lady seems nice, and that's the reason for the 2 stars. The guy who did my nails cut into my skin with the electric filer. I kept flinching and he did it a few times. Next day I can see the cuts clearly and now need to wait for it to heal. Told them I don't want to over file nail bed because that's what another place did to me and they still filed way down. Gel color seemed limited choices. Amazing service! The staff were super friendly and even offered me a beverage. I got Gel-X French nails with a design on two fingers - they came out beautiful. My brother had the coconut spa pedicure and loved it. The salon itself is a little tricky to find: enter through Bloomingdale's Furniture Outlet, take the escalator up, and it's on the right. I had a really disappointing experience at this nail salon. I was already charged more than the price I was originally told, and when it came time to pay, I felt pressured into leaving a $20 tip. I was told tipping "wasn't optional," which made me really uncomfortable because tips should be a personal choice, not something customers are forced into. The whole experience felt unprofessional and stressful instead of relaxing. I left feeling overcharged and pressured rather than appreciated as a customer. This place is one of the biggest scams. I went 2 weeks prior for dip, got charged an extra $10 and was told to "come back" and next time she will "make it right". Plus the place gives you $5 off for a 5 star review so most of the reviews are only good for the money off.
