I should be giving them the Podiatry bill and they should be paying for my medication that I will be on for months . I am very very upset! (I only have my spa pedicures done here.) I love this salon! They handled Covid precautions really well and still do. They cleaned after every client, limited capacity, installed the barriers between clients and was serious with contact tracing. They have a great selection of colors (Essie/OPI/gel/regular), a waxing room and facial room. The spa pedi is amazing and includes callus remover and a 10 minute massage. (It's $55 at the time I'm writing this) They are very thorough with the pedicure and I never feel rushed. Make sure you call before you come, they have to turn away customers regularly. read more

This has already been the most welcoming and enjoyable experience I have had in a salon in years and I've only started my pedi 20 minutes ago. The staff is kind, dedicated, and so considerate! They took my appointment last minute and agreed to do tips on me even though it may mean they leave 10 minutes past close. I was fooled by the high rating. I do NOT understand. I'm also embarrassed because we took our young cousin there (a little tradition whenever we visit each other) and... this was just terrible. For starters, the person who greeted us was so abrupt and short with us that one person in our party decided not to have anything done because she felt like it would be too much trouble. Communication was difficult, but what really upsets me is that maybe that's all for show. For example, while in the spa pedicure chair, my pedicurist asked if I wanted the massage that comes with the spa pedicure. I said yes because, obvi. Well, apparently the massage comes with some *other* spa pedicure but not *my* spa pedicure and there was a surcharge of $10. Also surprising? The color I chose for my toes incurred a $2 upcharge for reasons unknown. Most of this would be forgivable as a misunderstanding or just a 'roll with it' situation - if the mani/pedi were good. They were not. I had to return the next day to have two fingernails redone (gel powder) and even still, my powder gel mani lasted LESS THAN A WEEK before the first nail came off. Then two days later, another cracked down the middle. Another chipped. Now, what's interesting about this is that gel powder - in my experience - doesn't typically chip. It also typically lasts me about a month. It's peeling up from the bottom and if I were local, I would have gone back to have them try to fix whateverthehell has happened here. But I'm livid, because this also was among the most EXPENSIVE mani/pedis I have ever had. read more

Unfortunately my manicure didn't even last 3 days. It was only a regular manicure, but 3 nails peeled off on 1 hand and 1 nail peeled off on the other hand.. this has never happened before. Rude staff. Don't even think about bringing a child with you or for services themselves no matter how well behaved they are. Treated my kids like animals the owner wanted them to wait outside. It's not an ordinary mani/pedi salon, but instead a relaxing, clean spa atmosphere with great massages and the friendliest staff. Nice atmosphere, courteous, at first. Then inappropriate asking of what race you are and becomes quiet, I guess she doesn't enjoy accommodating "my kind"? At end of session , I left a decent tip, but , she pushed another girl to give me the free massage while waiting for my nail to dry. ?! So I should tip two people for just one service? Plus she went to her worker gossiping while looking my way.... ??? Bad wording your customers should happen AFTER your customer had left, not to mention I didn't give any attitude during the session. Felt really unwelcomed. This is my fourth time going there and I have never once been asked if I wanted a massage from one of the ladies. People walked in after me and were immediately offered a massage while I sat there the entire time. I eventually got fed up and asked for a massage and the lady said to wait a minute and then never came back. They definitely favor adults over children. read more

Everyone was so friendly and nice, we were immediately greeted at the door by the jolliest man who had a cool norm-core vibe in regards to his wardrobe. massage chair and color selections were also great! I watched in awe as they removed the calluses from my friend's feet with swan-like grace, this is the place to go if you want to treat yo self! Do not understand all these great reviews. Entire time I was there I felt like they just want to rip me off. Charging extra for everything - removing old nail polish, fixing nails, "oh try this super strong uv gel". To make the story short - spent $100 on regular pedicure and color gel manicure and 3 days later I had to go to another salon to fix my nails. Just for applying UV gel on 3 nails - $30! They swore that it's going to last 3 weeks. 3 days! Every single nail broke! Will never be back and stay away! read more

I love getting manicures, but I find myself having to get them too often because polish always chips. I lived in Manhattan for years and never found a salon that was consistently great. I am so lucky to have found Ohara nails. I have been five or six times now for manicures and pedicures.
