I had an ejector pump go bad in my "other" home in Carpentersville. I live in Arizona and rent out this home and had no idea who to call. Luckily, the plumber I called, Mr. Rooter of Schaumburg, was called first by me and notated the severity of my problem. They immediately contacted me and said that Rainbow was the best company to have come in to clean out the sewage in my basement and make sure I was taken care of with bacteria as well as with my insurance. Sharon was very helpful and super friendly. She even brought treats for my dog when they stopped by the next day. Sharon and Carmelo did the estimate and were very friendly and thorough. I received the estimate the next day and was surprised and how affordable it was. On the day of the cleaning Robert & Douglas did a great job and answered all of our questions. There are ways to talk to people and yelling and ranting non stop for minutes because a simple question at the time of making an initial appointment via phone is not a good start. They were very hurtful and judgemental non professional comments and remarks. I can't imagine hiring someone to create a huge issue from nothing. I find it odd that a hazmat suit wasn't even an option for someone to come over. read more

Rainbow International of Schaumburg provided overall poor quality service. Completing the removal of moldy: carpet, drywall, and vinyl plank flooring in my small condo took almost two months. Sharon (the owner of this Rainbow location) outright lied several times. She promised to get the work done a lot sooner and denied this when questioned. Sharon tried to take short cuts doing less than what she had promised and had to be forced (by my insurance) into removing all of the moldy drywall. Sharon's crew at Rainbow damaged my personal property by getting some mold encapsulating paint on my good carpet, on kitchen cabinets, and on my chairs. Finally, Sharon's crew cut my electrical cord while cutting down drywall. Sharon at Rainbow refused to reimburse me for the electrical line damage stating that this is not her fault because the electrical cord was not in solid steel pipe (as it should have been for code regulations) and was instead in a softer flexible metal wrapping. read more

Right before move in for our new home, we realized based on smell that the previous owners had a dog. We called Rainbow to quickly get someone out to the house to clean the carpets in the master bedroom. The office staff was super helpful in getting someone out quick, and Terrance and Robert did a great job with the clean. Would definitely use again! read more

Had to have a plumber come out to my house in Schaumburg. After they finished they called Rainbow international for me. I am so glad they did! My powder room bathroom toilet overflowed. Then after the toilet backed up and poured out of the toilet, it started getting my carpet wet. I ran to shut off the water and it was just everywhere. My basement was raining water cause it was leaking from the first floor down the second floor. Thank God the water was clean and not full of the bad smelly stuff! So the plumber fixed my toilet. Rainbow international came out next. They helped me out so much. They called and delt with my insurance and got everything handled. Took them about a week but my house sparkles clean after they left. This guy named Jeff came out and dryer up all off the water and then set up a bunch of fans and equipment. Then he even cleaned my carpet while he was working. Let's just say he left my house in way better condition then it was in when i didn't have the flood. Company was very trustworthy, on time and did exactly what they said they would! I recommend them highly and hope I don't need them in the future, but if I do I know who to call! I will be calling them for my carpet cleaning.
