I am still very happy with the quality as manufactured, and the longevity of each pair I've purchased. Service and selection are excellent. Their products are very well crafted. Except for one pair that got damaged by accident, (and they got me into a new pair at a very fair price), my other Ocean Waves sunglasses have lasted for over 10 years without problems

When you enter the eye glasses are sectioned off in about 30 board but ONLY ONE BOARD had eye glasses in the 2/$79 special! The particular day I arrived there were a ton of people looking at glasses. I didn't see any disinfectant wipes to wipe down glasses after I saw others try them on, so took it upon myself to bring some wipes. I looked at a bunch of different frames, seriously if you're worried that you won't be able to find any name brand lenses, rest assured; they have a bunch of different ones to choose from (Gucci, Fendi, Cartier, Coach, Oakley, etc). After trying on a few pairs, my number was called. I set down a few pairs and asked the associate how much each particular frame would cost based on my insurance. I whittled my choices down to two, then finally picked a pair based on price and look. The woman that helped me was pleasant, took my Prescription. I paid and then was told it would be about 7-10 days. After seven days I contacted the store and spoke to Jarrod; the manager. He said they had just gotten a shipment of glasses in and said he'd go in the back and check. To my delight my glasses were in that shipment. I went a few days later to pick up my glasses. It was an easy process. A few weeks later I had to get the adjusted, so when I went to Costco again they adjusted them for me. Pros: -variety of frames -brand names -helpful staff -quick turnaround Cons: -frames can be costly even with insurance -long lines Tip: when you arrive at the optical center, be sure to grab a number or else you'll be waiting a while.

Eye exam utilizes current technology and machines I had never used before! This year was funny for me, because the classic question about how has your eyesight been- well, about that... I was reading a menu on my phone and thought letters "TBD" read numbers 180. Blinks eyes. That was the week before my eye appointment. So, yeah- my vision had gotten worse both near and far. John on the other hand got slightly better! Than for the frames shopping- the lady helping me, we were cracking up. She would tell you, nope, yes, maybe- if the glasses looked good or not. She pulled no punches and I loved it! The cats eye frames- so fun, fits my personality, but does NOT fit my face. Hard pass. We rolled around the shop and she upsold me to buy a second pair and I went all in and got polarized prescription sunglasses specifically for my upcoming cruise! I think her name was Gerrilynn (Gerriann?) omgoodness, I feel terrible I didn't write this review right away- she fabulous! Seriously- loved seeing her for picking up the glasses too! I ordered my progressive glasses in December (primarily needed them for night vision and readers)…read more I picked them up in January and tried for a month to adjust but prescription seemed too strong. Went back in February and just decided on bifocals. Picked them up (now in March) & the bifocal line was smack in the center! Even the tech noticed it.
