I only gave 1 star because I can't give less. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!! The owners are in on it or allowing it. They impounded my little worthless truck but I was moving and it had expensive stuff in it. I went the next morning to get it ( they seemed surprised id pay $600 to get this truck) Long story short my purse & boxes were ransacked and I was missing about $1500 worth of purses $100 cash and the owners daughter was NO HELP. SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE LOOKED AT THE VIDEO AND DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY A LIE.There Had TO be Someone WALKING DOWN THE STREET with an armful of purses- or somebody getting in my truck walking around in the lot when they didn't belong there?? They were a pleasure to work with, not just the driver, but also everyone else at the yard. They were kind caring and went above and beyond during a scary time. They took care of my car and I after an accident, they were quick to respond, and very accommodating for all the different it was great to work with them and I would highly recommend for anybody in the area. read more

Needed a jump. Called the Auto club they could not find anybody for an 1.5 hours. Called rainbow directly they were there in 15 min. The guy was extremely nice gave me ideas to clean the corrosion from terminals (use Coca-Cola). And it worked like a charm read more

Mon 12/30/24 @ 6:30pm. took 2.5 hours after I was estimated 45 min. I called to see if they needed better directions- first 2 calls not answered, third call they answered and set the phone on the desk. I could hear a male and female employee in the background discussing a wreck in Bothell where a man had a heart attack and hit a wall, and how he was out of icu and now Bothell PD had questions. nobody said anything to me on the phone- they just took it off the hook so I couldn't communicate with them. finally a driver arrived- I asked why they treated their customers that way and he said "that didn't happen" and left. fortunately I had already called another company ( All American Towing) who arrived about 2 minutes later. Listen: it's already a very frustrating inconvenience to need a tow in December in a rural area with no streetlights. Do yourself a favor and don't add poor customer service and actively avoiding communicating with the customer to your troubles. read more

I had to tow my car after a car accident and was told it might take up to 2 hours to tow my car to my house. They were reliable and professional, and my car was towed timely. The tow truck driver was helpful, too. I recommend their service. read more

We were in an accident and the police called Rainbow Towing, their driver said they would charge $350 + tax to take the car from Woodinville to Redmond, a 30-minute drive that with traffic would take less than an hour. I said I would rather call another service and they said they would do it for $275 + tax and I agreed. The charge? $550. When I spoke to them about this they said it doesn't matter what I was told unless I want my car impounded I will pay whatever they want me to pay and then they hung up on me. That is not the way you run a business. I called back, they said they would have the owner call me right back, I asked if I could have his number, and again she hung up on me. Again not the way to run the business. I waited about an hour and did not hear anything. I called back and got the answering service, I asked if they knew where they took my car so I could have the insurance people try to deal with this and she said she had no clue. I left another message requesting a callback. [Update] I heard back. The owner called, I explained what happened, and told him I am leaving it between him and the insurance company. His people explained this situation differently than I did of course but that's to be expected. [Update] Checked my credit card and despite me telling them not to do the charge they did. Not only did they do the charge they also did not leave the car at the place they were supposed to and impounded it. Will now have to contact them and/or credit card company to resolve. [Update] They have now supposedly reversed the charges but it does not show on my account. The insurance company has been trying to get them to release the vehicle since the day after impound without success though. Still waiting. [Update] Shortly after calling and telling them the billing still showed (where they said they reversed it already) I got a text from their billing service saying they JUST reversed the charge. Now the full $550 plus storage is being paid by my insurance. This is total extortion and they get away with it. I will be filing a complaint with the state based on their handling of this incident. read more

I had an abandoned vehicle in my driveway and called the sheriff to see what I could do. They said have it towed at the owners expense. After 5-6 phone calls to different tow companies, all I heard was 'we don't do that' I was then refereed to Rainbow towing and they picked the car up that same day. Very professional and responsive. read more

Awesome guys that work here. They were so helpful and got me back on the road before my appointment! I was on my way to an interview and I got a flat tire. I had no spare and I called rainbow and they not only drove me to my interview but they took my car to les Schwab and waited for the tire to get fixed as well. The driver was super nice and very clean cut compared to some of these other tow guys. Ive had to call a tow truck many times and ive probably hired or dealt with every tow company in seattle and Rainbow was by far the most honest and helpful company out here. I will never call another tow company again. I highly recommend rainbow towing above all the rest. read more

I've been towed by all the tow companies in the area. This one was the only time I've ever actually had a good experience. The guy was super nice and really understanding. I realize he's just doing his job and he could have been a prick about it but instead he was a pretty nice guy and I walked out of there smiling believe it or not! Usually I'm so pissed off I could scream! But the people at Rainbow are much nicer and way more down to earth understanding people than the pricks at all the other tow yards. read more

The driver of the tow truck was nice enough. The company, however, is dishonest to the core. The Kenmore police called them for me, and I'm STILL a little angry about how they called such an extortionist, unethical company, even though that was like half a year ago. If you have the CHOICE, do NOT call these guys!!! EVER!!! read more
