We got caught in the transition to the new owners. There is no more Lazy Days which we were customers of for the last 4 motorhomes we purchased in 15 years. The new business is now Lazy Days of Tampa operated by Campers Inn. A totally different company which does not care about the previous owners customers and will not honor warranties on new 2026 Tiffin motor coaches. We were told to take our new coach to another dealer for warranty work since the new company bought the assets and not the liabilities of the previous Lazy Days. Terrible company. read more

Lazydays is truly a life saver. We have been without power for almost 10 days, since the hurricane. So we decided to go to Tampa and stay at Lazydays for a few days. The rates are very reasonable this time of year, $136 for three nights! Plus you get a complimentary breakfast in their Front Porch Cafe! You even get a ride over there in a golf cart! This place is immense snd we are staying in the resort area. Luckily enough we are really close to the laundry room. If you have your own washer and dryer, you never think about what it would be like without power, like after a hurricane. David really loved the laundry room! It is very clean and there is an app to tell you how much time you have left while washing and drying. He couldn't figure out how to start the wash, until the lady came over and told him to hit the start button lol! We are a comedy couple lol! Actually being here is a reprieve from sleeping in a hot house and taking a cold shower! I'm not complaining after I see what others have gone through. Just happy to be in a safe, secure campground right in the middle of a urban city! We love supporting our local community businesses wherever we go! Thanks Lazydays! read more

We bought a 2021 Winnebago Solis from them. It been nothing but trouble, The water holding tank wouldn't hold the water, now the generator wiring is falling out the bottom and won't work. Also water damage on the wall outside of shower, I don't use the shower. I think they sold us a demo camper without telling us. We had to put money on top of our high payment. If you take to them they keep it for months. They suck! read more

As nomads, we've stayed in a lot of RV "resorts" and LazyDays gets it right. The park is as clean as they come; the spots are spacious and many have good shade. There are dedicated dog runs for leashless pooch romps. On-site laundry facilities, showers, restrooms are all well-maintained. The pool is fantastic and the on-site restaurant will keep one from starvation. (OK, you got me. It's 'meh.') But the staff is 110% awesome! Every single interaction I had was fantastic. So often the staff in RV parks can be sort of "take it or leave it" but LazyDays staff went out of their way to make sure I was a Happy Camper. The only single complaint I have is that in the pool area there are no refreshments available until 3pm. What's up with that? This is a huge missed opportunity to make a buck. I would have consumed countless drinks by the pool each day as I enjoyed reading by the pool. But no drinks, at all. No soft drinks; no adult drinks. Not even water. Seems almost anti-capitalist to not have at least a limited bar and bar food menu during pool hours, don'it? But -- overall -- I highly recommend this place! read more

We have stayed here for a month at a time for the past 5 years. Paid a premium, other places were less expensive, but the staff, sites and convenience of location had us coming back. Lately they have doubled their rates and eliminated monthly stays, 14 days tops. Nothing like a company telling you that they don't want your business. Sadly, we will find another place and most likely another place to buy our next bus. This place used to be so much more customer oriented before they sold. read more

A very fun RV campground! The breakfast is free. Coffee, hot chocolate is free in front office while it's open. The Exit 10 Restaurant looks like a giant motor home. The drinks were good (happy hour 3-5!) Most of the food was good - I'd pass on the mozzarella sticks. The kids had a blast in the huge pool that is screened in - and the hot tub. The indoor ping pong and corn hole were a hit! There's a cute, cozy area with 3 hammocks by a fire pit. The dog park was cute, too. However, 2 complaints are that the bathrooms were not up to par. The women's had one nozzle that was broken, and thus, out of order. Another one had hair all over the walls (because people are nasty) and the drain didn't drain the shower water at all. There was black mold in all of them.... they could definitely use a scrub down and some bleach. Not sure how frequently they actually clean them. My husband also reported black mold in men's bathroom. Another issue was more related to the campers - but someone let their Pit Bull run around unleashed. She had a leash and harness around - but no owner to be seen, and she barked at my 8yr old son when he walked out of the camper. That dog and (others, too) pooped and nobody ever picked it up. So watch where you step. read more

We stayed here for the week of the rv super show in January. Pros: The resort was clean. The pool is heated. The restaurant is nice. Bathrooms are clean. They give you tickets for a very nice breakfast. Cons: the sites are very small. No room to park truck after unhooking. The sites are impossibly tight. No privacy between the sites. Couldn't open the rear awning due to neighbors so close. They say they have 300 sites. Probably should have 250. We will most likely look elsewhere next time we are in the area. read more

Went to buy an RV advertised at 80k. It was a bargain at the price listed. Upon inspection it had many problems. Salesman said it was discounted due to the problems. The windshield was ready to fall out of the rv. The add was misleading. It made you run to buy it and when you got there you wasted a day looking. The sales team was a processing plant. Tried to upsell, add insurances galore, and were upset when I spoke of the problems there. I was moved away from other customers in order to not let them over hear my problem with the RV. The price was set in stone the salesman said. Ten more people are waiting to buy. Lies lies lies. I walked away. No thanks Lazy Days. read more

We have been to LazyDays for several years now and this is the firs time we have been disappointed. The pool bar and restaurant were closed both days we were there. MOST of the facilities were closed and even equipment rental was closed. Crown Club has been completely gutted and is only open 1 hour for breakfast, 2 hours for lunch and the bar is closed period. Wifi was completely inoperable while we were there. it's my understanding they were bought by a foreign company and are feeling the pain of absentee ownership. Also, as of yesterday, they are still requiring masks everywhere inspite of the Governor lifting the mandate 2 weeks ago. It's camping, its outside. Just ridiculous. read more

I have enjoyed staying at Lazy Days for short stays for ten years. It's facility is consistent with large city campgrounds. A large parking lot with amenities. Lazy Days has more than most. Great Pool, tennis, basketball, fitness room and great community room with games for kids. Good restaurant available most evenings. The spaces are all full hookup and all are back in sites. Few sites have shade. One notice was how empty the place was due to raising the price by twenty dollars just in the past month. The price is sixty-five including taxes and unnecessary fees as a tag-on. People are nice and the location is great for Tampa. They offer a free breakfast with is one nice feature. read more

I'm lowering my score since I've stayed here a few more times as I get my rv worked on down the street from the park. During "winter" which goes all the way to May sites are like $60. Twice we have been put in sites with sewer connections that run uphill. You would think that at $60/night they would of built sites knowing crap doesn't flow uphill. Sites are pretty small and we only book the largest 45' spots. You know what's sad? Their sales lot down the street is MUCH nicer than their park, with large shady trees everywhere. So for us there's no reason to stay here other than location. read more

My wife and I were staying on Site 200 this last Friday, April 26th. Apparently Lazy Days rented out your rally center right across from our row of camp sites. During the course of the evening at least 50 people filtered outside the rally center and had a party outside. The noise was unbelievable. I lost count of the number of f-bombs yelled. Cars were coming and going at a high rate of speed. We called the 800 number to complain. They told us there was nothing they could do and to talk to the front desk in the morning. We told them that was not acceptable. They actually hung up on us. We finally found the number for onsite security. We called and he told us he was by himself and didn't feel comfortable approaching the group. He told us to talk to the manager, Jay, in the morning. It was our last night there and we left early in the morning so we did not have a chance to talk to him. Someone from the office did call us the next day, but we got a perfunctory "sorry" and told it was a draft party. Paying $60.00 a night to have our rig not on our campsite because service had it for two days and then have all the party BS going on when we finally had our home on the site did not leave a good taste nor a good recommendation to anyone who asks how we liked the campground. In the future I suggest if you're going to rent your place out to non-campers you should require that they pay for an off duty police officer. Another suggestion. Either you have a campground or you have a party center. The two do not mix. read more

We are from NY and have a 45' Diesel Pusher. The Lazydays RV resort is fantastic. The pool area is really nice. They have a spa and a small restaurant/bar attached to it so you can get something to eat or drink. You can also bring your own cooler if you prefer. The sites are nice and you will find many who are full timers here especially during the winter months. The front desk is also very helpful and friendly. There is also a RV washing service company that you can get your RV washed where you are parked. The area is conveniently located to Lazydays so you can check out the new RVs or the RV accessory store. They also have free classes there. We have stayed at this park 3 times and would return for sure. What do they need to get a 5 star? - faster internet service through-out the campground - the bar/food area should be open for lunch (currently opens at 3pm) read more

We have been going to Lazydays campground for ten years while we have service done on our motorhome. Things have definitely changed at the campground this year. First, let's start with making our reservations. The lady that answered the phone, Michelle, was very rude and unaccomodating to my requests. Basically arguementive. She needs a course in customer relations for sure. When we arrived the day before our scheduled service appointment. I checked in and both ladies there at check in counter were very nice and friendly. Tiffany checked me in and I immediately noticed that Michelle had not honored any of my requests on the location of our site. That was easily changed and made clear to me that were not at full capacity. I asked if we needed to extend our time due to service would that be possible and Tiffany said of course. We did extend one more day. The next change we noticed was no special tickets were given for breakfast and lunch as they used to be while you were having service done at the Front Porch. When I asked, I was told that was discontinued in November. The next change we noticed the next morning was no daily paper delivered as they used to. In a nutshell, it boils now to the new corporate owners have taken away, but are charging more. More for less is the new policy. It definitely shows where the new priorities are. The saving grace for Lazydays campground is the Exit 10 restaurant. They still provide excellent food and service. Also, the pleasant ladies in the check in areas who were friendly when I arrived and accommodating when I needed to extend our stay. read more

We've been on the road since November and have visited many RV resorts. This one is nice, good people, nice amenities and is dog friendly. Here's the "but": the internet is terrible. I don't understand why it is so difficult to get good internet. I don't stream, all I want to do is check e-mail, read some news and look up attractions near here. I would give up the free breakfast just to get on line. read more

If we didn't have our days planned, there was a ton of stuff to do, as it's family oriented and they do work on keeping the schedules of things-to-do full. The kids did go to the pool and it was packed and the had a great time. It is a 20 minute trip from there to Busch Gardens / Adventure Island and that is a huge convenience for us. We will be using the resort many times in the future as the rates are quite reasonable. The only negative is there's not a whole lot of true toy hauler sites for the big 5th wheels, where there's room to drop the rear door. Our friends asked for a site like that and they wound up with a site that kept them from utilizing their rear drop down door. Please be mindful when you reserve your site with the resort and emphasize that you need room in the rear if you have a 40' toy hauler. read more

We really appreciate organizations that work with Moffitt Cancer Center. These folks have an outstanding facility for an RV resort. We were able to stay a week during treatment at Moffitt and they charge a special rate that included a free hot breakfast for two. The staff was courteous and professional, we arrived late (I did not look at the office hours properly-I'm new to RV'ing) but they had everything prepared for us at the security gate. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

We only stays 2 night at the Resort, but we found out the following things: 1. The Assesory Store a little pricey , but we were able to find the items that we needed for our RV. 2. The Restaurant (Exit 10) was excellent, we ate dinner there twice during our stay. 3.The customer service and staff was also excellent. The only down was neighbors partying until around 10pm. Loud music and loud voices right outside our bedroom window. and the same neighbor dog barking most of the day, because they left him in their RV. The facility was very large and clean and we would stay there again. read more

I've stayed at Lazy Days many times. Never on a holiday weekend, but this weekend, I saw kids riding a golf cart with no adults, maybe allowed but extremely dangerous with all the Rvs coming in to the campground. I also saw a little boy riding a bike with no adult supervision, again extremely dangerous. Cars had to stop to avoid hitting him. No newspaper delivery on our site. We found a pair of dirty gloves left by previous camper of the site. Glass bottles in pool area. Ball playing inside the pool where we felt we needed to move to avoid getting hit. Sites are small and you really have to be careful not to back up into power box or other RV behind you. Very low reception for Wifi. However, Exit 10 Restaurant was by far the best experience of my camping trip. Drinks and food were great and at a fair price. read more

Stayed here during Memorial Day Weekend. Checked in late on a Thursday, was called on Friday and Saturday and told we had not checked in. I explained both days we had checked in, and were using the site. Saturday evening we returned to find another RV in our spot. The staff moved us from our out-of-the way spot to a "premium" site that other campers (rudely) used as a shortcut to the main buildings. Not pleased... The bathrooms were spotless on Thursday, but seemed like they were not cleaned nor restocked with toilet paper nor paper towels until after we left on Monday. Overall a huge disappointment, and we will not return. read more

We stayed at Lazy Days because we had to get upholstery work done. Wade Upholstery(located on Lazy Days) quickly came out to inspect the sofa. The next morning a technician remove the upholstery on the back of the sofa and took it for repair. The following afternoon the same tech reinstalled the repair. Staying at Lazy Days RV Resort meant we did not have to go to a hotel. The resort gave us free breakfast and lunch coupons for use at the Lazy Days main campus. Only some items are free at their Front Porch Cafeteria. Only items with red letters are free. If you choose anything else you will have to pay for them. We only ate one lunch there, think school cafeteria but, hey it is free. The Exit 10 Pub had tasty food at reasonable prices. We would go there again. The swimming pool area was nice but it was full of kids so we didn't use it. Our camp site 290 had two trees that blocked our in motion Kingdom Satellite. There is cable but we didn't hook it up and just used our antenna for three nights. The site itself was level and our 40 foot motor home just fit in it. We had to park the car cross ways in front of the motor home. In fact everyone had to park cross ways in front of their rigs. Our street Manatee, was very busy with all manner of golf carts, work trucks, rigs, etc. constantly going by. I would not choose this park for a season but it was convenient for RV repairs. read more

One of the best RV resorts we've ever camped. The staff is super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable to point you in the correct direction. Lazydays were the first RV Resort we explored 8 years ago. There have been some changes, no all for the better. As previously noted I did receive tickets for Breakfast at The Front Porch, main campus. Was told the lunch tickets were no longer provided. Too bad, because doing lunch then going down the hall to attend one of the seminars was nice. Also having the paper delivered has been discontinued , but guess the cost of three hundred papers cut into the bottom line. Highly recommend taking in a seminar or two. No matter your experience level; They prove you can teach an old dog. The dog parks were clean with divided sections for large and small dogs. Also no shortage of pick up bags. I rented a golf cart, but the shuttle service seemed to be running often. The sites are not large, and arranged by rig size. All are back in, few had room for a "toad". So they are parked in the street. Challenging parking and departing. Hook up is at the rear of the siite, out of the way of slides and all sites have picnic tables on passenger side. Water pressure good. WiFi there, sometimes. Trash pick up often from the front of the site. The Restaurant, Exit 10 has kinda gone down since I visited it last, which was soon after it opened. Service great, food, furnishings not. The Forest River Owners Group (FROG) had a early Dinner Meeting at the Recreational Hall the. The meal was fine restaurant quality. Hot, tasty and filling. Five stars plus. What makes Lazydays RV Resort one of the best I've visited is the friendliness of the employees. Everyone I had contact with was pleasant, helpful and professional. This attitude seemed to rub off and there were a lot of Happy Campers. read more

We stayed here before and it was good. This time (the week of 20-25 Feb 2023) was a much worse experience. Our first bad experience was an inoperable power pedestal(#261). After relocating to site #248 all seemed better. Then, during the middle of the week the Lazy Days sales division began moving a bunch of 40' plus class A motorhomes and super c's in to rv sites because I guess they were running out of room on the sales lot. My 42' 5th wheel was surrounded by these huge motorhomes and I knew it was going to be tight getting out. I asked the rv Park front office staff if they could help to get one or two moved before I left in the morning. They did their best but we're told by Lazy Days the head honcho said no to moving any of the new rigs and that I was on my own to get out. I found one of the sales workers and he reluctantly moved the rig next to me a few feet back so I had a shot of getting out. I have no problem with the rv Resort staff -- they did what they could -- but the sales part of Lazy Days could give a crap (and I bought my rv from them a year earlier). No more of my business for Lazy Days of Tampa. read more

Especially gentlemen by the name of Juan Demata. I believe he works on the store side of lazy days. He was very friendly and helpful in guiding us around your large facility. Rented a 2018 Thor RV the third week in March. The unit was new and we anticipated a trouble free vacation. The fresh water tank was low on water with a faulty gauge so we ran out of water right away. The hot water heater did not work so we called and they said they would arrange for a repair, not only did they not send help we didn't even get a call to report no help was coming. We called and had the tank filled but no hot water. The unit came with televisions but they failed to function also. Lazy Days never bothered to call to see if we were having any problems. A very negative experience, we rent an RV every March and you can bet Lazy Days will never get our business again. read more

We have been staying at Lazy Days rv resort for the last twenty years and during that time we have seen the level of service ,amenities and maintenance decline. For example there used to be an escort to your site with guidance if needed, a newspaper delivered to your site each morning, breakfast AND LUNCH included, sites had neatly manicured lawn areas, discounts were given for past customers, trolley pick up at the rec center every 15 or 20 minutes to shuttle to front porch cafe, now I noticed a sign "if your tired of waiting golf cart is available to rent for 40,00" what a slap in the face. This place used to be a good value, not anymore. read more
