This is a truly amazing rifle store. They specialize in AR-15 / AR-10 rifles. - web site - The Rainier web site has live inventory management so that its clear when an item is in stock. Rainier carries most well known AR-15/AR-10 rifle components, in addition to complete rifles from various manufacturers. You won't find many pistols for sale at Rainier Arms, but it doesn't detract from the store at all. Pistols aren't their mission. AR variant rifles seem to be Rainier life mission. - store and products - Rainier also has its own house brand AR-15 rifle, sold at a decent price, and includes quality components. The owner seems like a genuinely great and friendly guy. Friendly people at a firearms store are definitely something to rave about. He and his staff a true AR rifle enthusiasts trying to keep people with a similar interest supplied and cared for. The store also has a full time armorer / gunsmith on staff. Apparently he builds the house brand rifles in addition to performing gun smithing for customers. None of the other well known Puget Sound firearms stores has any sort of online product information to speak of, neither Wades nor WestCoast Armory. Rainier also carries NFA restricted products like suppressors. For anyone willing to go through the expense trouble with the FBI / ATF to be eligible for such products, Rainier has them available. Its too bad suppressors aren't more accessible, because that would surely make for more quiet firing ranges and shooting sports activities. Even so, Rainier has the products. For any hobbyist who wants to build a custom AR-15 for the firing range, or just for collecting purposes, Rainier Arms is the place to go. During the current political hysteria firearms products are in very short supply. However, the Rainier web site has an email notification service so that its possible to get notified the moment an items returns to stock, so that an order can be placed for in store pickup, or for shipment of products that don't require an NICS background check. As long as Rainier maintains is friendly service, its AR-15 expertise, fair prices, and custom service and inventory technologies, it will remain a five star company to do business with. This is a valid, personal experience I had with this business that documents a human interaction between me and the employees of the business. So it just came out recently that Rainier Arms as part of a settlement with NYC has decided to give an indeterminant amount of customer information to the hoplophobes running that hell-hole. This just isn't an ideological issue, if you are a customer of Rainier Arms they just might have thrown you under the bus either to save themselves because they were engaging in illegal sales of frames to people who shouldn't have been buying them, or if they were doing nothing illegal then they should have told New York City to pound sand and go away. Either way there's no excuse for this information trade and breaching their customers' private data. I CALLED THEM ON THE TELEPHONE (real, customer experience) and asked to get information about whether my info was exposed given that I did not accept their publicly stated PR release that claimed info was only handed over that the court would ultimately require, because that's an absurd claim that's impossible to prove unless they have a time machine to go into the future and see what the court would actually do. Handing over customer info voluntarily to hostile east cost governments is NOT something that a 2a-friendly business does. Period. Full stop. When I asked about this I got a rude response and they hung up the phone on me. RA will never get another dime from me. I suggest if you value your info and don't want to get screwed over when they randomly decide to turn customer data over to crazy east coast city governments then don't spend a dime here. read more

Never had a problem ordering and/or receiving what i order from rainer. I have bought quite of few things on rainer and the products are great. Then i order a pack of 500 rounds of 22lr ammunition. The first 500 was good. I decided to order another 500 but when it got to me, the package was taped up which raises a flag for me that this pack of 500 round was opened at one time. I open the top of the box up to take a peak and sure enough one box of 50 round was missing. I contact Rainerarms through email to the sale department....i called rainerarms, spoke with "Scott" and he told me to send him pictures with an email. I done that he told me he will get it resolved right away and its been more then a week that i have not received an answer or anything. Thank you, only reason why i give it a three star is because in the past i never had a problem with there products or there shipping. But just for a box of 22lr ammo...what if it was a expensive firearm part... I will not order anything from rainerarms anymore especially if its something pricey i wouldnt risk that trouble. With all the shipping problems going on right now Rainer Arms (despite I am sure being jammed also with orders) got my item out almost that day. They communicated exceptionally well so my transfer went off without a hitch. The price and item I ordered could not be beat and trust me I looked everywhere for weeks to find what I wanted at a good price. They stood out as the best company in terms of value for my dollar. After receiving the order I could not be happier with the workmanship from this company and attention to detail. I would say they should charge more but please do not lol. I have shopped so many places for related items and in terms of price, quality, customer service, shipping time, and overall experience Rainier Arms has exceeded my expectations. I am back on their website right now looking forward to spending more money with this company. This place has some great items available and they take their COVID protocols serious. Only 5 customers allowed inside at a time so there's always a line outside waiting their turn. They are set up to do the federal paperwork needed the purchase a silencer. They always seem to have the two most popular caliber's of ammo available, 9mm and 5.56, but they only sell it in large quantities. We're talking a 1000 rounds at a time. You can buy parts on their website and have them text you when your order is ready for pick up or even "curbside delivery". I would give them 5 stars but their curbside delivery needs some work. When you receive the text they provide you a phone number to call when you arrive. I tried this the last time I ordered from them and when I called the number it just went to a message saying no one is available to answer your call. I called about 10 times before I finally got out and went and just stood in line and waited. Turns out the dude in front of me was their for curbside delivery too. I really like what they have to offer so I'll continue to use them but curbside delivery is out. read more

This is one of my favorite small arms companies of all time! They are always friendly, and always have what you need! If they, for some reason, don't have it, they will find it. Just send them a message and they will get back with you ASAP! I'm not a fan of junk emails, as I don't have time to browse through all the trash that's in most of them! I was looking for a particular new optic for a handgun and was running into the typical OUT OF STOCK notifications as various vendors. Then I discovered Rainier Arms. The website stated there was a single--yep, only 1--of the items I had been searching elsewhere for in stock. Not being familiar with Rainer Arms, I made a quick phone call to them to verify that 1) this wasn't just another 3rd party distributor who waits until an order comes in, takes your money, then goes out in an attempt to procure the item you've ordered, and 2) that they really did have this one-in-stock-only item on hand. I spoke with Matt in Customer Service, asking if they had the item ready to ship, and was assured with a resounding "Yes, sir!" Encouraged by his prompt and courteous assistance, I placed my order and within days, the optic was on my doorstep. Will I check out Rainier Arms next time I'm looking for anything firearms and security-related? You bet! I purchased a lower receiver on Labor day so I wasn't expecting the item to ship for another 1 or 2 days. However, before the item shipped, the same lower receiver went on sale at another store for $20 less that what I had paid at Rainier the day before; time to see if they'll price match. I called towards the end of the day and was immediately connected with a sales representative. We switched over to their online text support to better send links and verification information. Because my item had not yet shipped, I was hoping that the price match would go through. Not only did they agree to the price match, they also up upgraded my shipping from the slow 7-10 day plan that I had originally paid for to 3-day shipping. This isn't my first time doing business with RA and it won't be my last. If they do make a mistake, they will try their best to resolve any issues. Today restored my hope in costumer service, thank you Rainier Arms! I've been purchasing guns and gun parts for awhile now. Been to stores, shopped online and always along the way asked questions and tried to get a feel for the people selling me these items. Of course, when buying, you want quality parts but second, at least for me, I want quality costumer service. Like I said in my first statement, Rainier Arms restored my hope! I recently had to make an exchange on a product I had purchased from Rainier Arms. I went to the live chat on the company's web site and was met by Miss Jonnie. She walked me through the process and helped me make some changes to the product I was exchanging for. She followed up with emails letting me know that they had received my shipment and the status of the exchange and the work being done on it. She then sent me an email with tracking numbers and then a follow up once I received the product to see if I was satisfied. This is how all service driven business should work, but rarely does. They have a one-star review on google and I wonder why. This company/shop is more like a concept store than a normal gun store. The furniture is pleasing and the model rifles are organized on the wall in a pretty way. Multiple modern accessories can be tried on the racket so you might be able to know what your decision should be. The key point is here. I bought a barrel and found an issue for me and hoped to make an exchange, but the exchanged one did not 100% satisfy me. The nice guy, possibly the manager, opened me 4-5 new barrel bags, which made me feel a little embarrassed. During a rifle build I found myself referred by a friend to Rainier Arms. Same website experience as the others, maybe a bit easier to navigate through, but it's what was expected. My surprise came after I placed my order, when I got an email from them asking about why my shipping and billing address didn't match (I moved recently). I've never had a company task a REAL person with resolving these observations, they just wanted to make sure there wasn't fraudulent activity. Made my day, I'll definitely be back for more. These guys rock and I dig their program with a giant fork. Great products, service, employees. I had a mid grade rifle refinished through RA over a year ago and they treated it like a new born baby. It turned out fantastic and I've received many compliments regarding the finish. Everyone I have referred to RA has been very pleased. Rob, the primary AR-15 armorer is a Zen gunsmith. His attention to detail makes a brain surgeon look like a four year old kid with a bucket of crayons trying to paint a Picasso. Had a barrel sent in for some gunsmith work. The work was done a day after they received it. Erik W called me to inform me my order was ready and wanted to clarify some stuff with me. He spent 15 minutes on the phone with me discussing what my best options were for my AR build. He ultimately talked me into having them assemble the upper for me as it was going to be more involved than initially suspected. I am really impressed with the level of customer service as a majority of gun shops seem annoyed having to answer questions. I ordered a Lantac Dragon muzzle brake on Dec. 27th while it was still in stock and was sent tracking information shortly there after. As of Jan 6th I received a phone call and was told it was no longer in stock and my order had not been fulfilled, even though their system says when I receive a tracking number they have shipped the product (not true!). They were unwilling to do much of anything other than make me wait for new inventory to arrive (unknown eta) or cancel my order for a full refund. I work for a gun manufacturer and know how hard it is to be in the firearms business. So this is from my experience as someone in the business and a customer. I ordered 3 Spectre 80% kits and never received the items. Tried contacting via e-mail and telephone. Never received an e-mail it was sent on the 6/30 but as of this review of 7/10 still no items and no contact from the gun shop. My brother bought items from Rainier arms before and never had an issue. I waited about a week before submitting a dispute to my credit card company to get the funds back. Rainier Arms' knowledgeable and personable staff have always gone beyond what I would expect from business which was only interested in making a sale, answering questions and offering suggestions on products I've purchased from them and even elsewhere. While you might find cheaper prices elsewhere online, I've never encountered a shop where the staff has been willing to take the time to educate me the nuances of the project I was undertaking, and how it was different than average run-of-the-mill AR-15 builds. There is another outfit advertising on the internet also using the word "Ranier" as the first part of thier title, and they have the reputation as a scam site. That is completely different site.
