I had my child at the high school last year I finally pulled after the lie's the principle was making up to get the students he didn't like suspended. I know this will sound like a made up story out of a movie but it is true. Dave Rehnberg, the Principal was notorious for lying so much the parents told their kids to record him when they were called in the office. One occasion he called a parent to suspend there teenager for yelling, cussing, disrespecting him while being in his office, not know the student was recording the conversation. When the parent went in and confronted Reinberg and played back the recording... then told the president Bruce Kelly nothing was done. Mr. Kelly with his as usual cover up ignores the recorded conversation and let Reinberg continue his mission of EVILNESS and LIES. Mr. Reinberg finally left because of cancer. Everyone was happy evil was gone Several male students were written up for Public Display of Affection but two of the Gay students could show a public display of affection sticking their tongue down each other's throat and have zero consequences. (True) They would kiss sitting on the table outside during pick up. Parents would complain. Mr. Kelly would call the parent and there child a liar saying they were just making up stories. He must be afraid of a law suit because nothing was done with the 2 girls but the other couples were constantly tormented. I am thinking a lawsuit against the school that thinks they are untouchable and naming the board members who think they are ALSO untouchable will change things. The Board members really don't care what goes on as long as they get the 99,000 per year. Board members only have so much insurance to cover damages but maybe they haven't thought of that. Board members are still responsible for the actions of their president Mr. Kelly. There is Bulling with staff it starts at the top. Mr. Kelly. Look at the filings at the secretary of state. Look at the budget report. Loss of income why???? It has gone down at the end of the year where the money is??? Where is the BLACK ENROLLMENT what is more interesting in the zero BLACKS that are NOT enrolled in this High school? Better yet the "No Black" teacher have worked at the Kent or Black Diamond campus until one was hired this year in Kent. They had several black and mixed students in the elementary and middle school while Mr. Garand was the principle there. Soon as Don Garand left Mr. Kelly started play the role of Principle at both schools, God and President y all the black but one are gone they disappeared. WHY???? Mr. Kelly brags about creating the website. Kelly States in detail how they are against "GAY" children. But yet they except Federal funding which I believe they can't if they discriminate against the gays. I don't believe they can hide behind the as they say "God doesn't believe in gays" They have video recorders outside the bathrooms to record the bathroom conversations. Can all the women imagine the conversation you have with your friends when you were on you period? Don't you find this strange? Every parent has the right to see the spending budget. The first one I would want to see is how the president Mr. Kelly affords the 3 corvettes does. DONT SENT YOUR KIDS HERE. MOST TEACHERS DONT HAVE A DEGREE. Mr. Kelly is prejudice against Blacks and Gays..... WHERE DID ALL THE BLACKS GO????? I am not Gay or Black but I do believe in my child getting a education in a good balance environment, everyone treated equal, teachers and staff that are not Racist against Gay's, Mexican's and Blacks. How can you say you are Christian and run a school and because you are White, getting paid over $100,000 a year and own 3 Corvettes YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER!!! If you care about your children repost this review and the one below .. RainierChristian School / the President Bruce kelly openly discriminates against the gays..... and African Americans. Some of you might not care that they discriminate against the gay's or Black's but someday your child might need to work for, with or along beside someone who is bisexual, gay or black.... This person might be their boss might be their stepping stone to a better life or a better quality of life.... Do you want their thoughts to be tainted because they went to a school where The president Mr. Bruce Kelly is very vocal on how he is disgusted with gays???? How do you teach your children everyone is equal if you're not in a school that treats it's Mexicans blacks, gays and every other person equal.. Look around when you go there there's one black child there is no black teachers..... They have never had a black teacher until recently..... Do you wonder why the School board supports a School President that that pushes the fact that he doesn't like gays they have to think HIS way follow his light or HE/GOD ask them to leave..... What happened to all the black students that were at the Kent location???? There is a police office on the board who has NEVER let his son associate any of the other students.. That child has been going to that school since he wasince he was in 2nd grade.... Do you wonder what he thinks about the racism???? Why hasn't the board did anything about how these other kids are being treated. The board members kids can do whatever they want and never get kicked out of school.. Start asking why Mr. KELLY was intimidated by Don Garnand???? Is it because Bruce cant management school funds? Don was going up the ladder and could easily take his spot and bring more income into the school instead of running it in the hole... Does anybody ask how the president can afford the things that he has.... Look at his profile he has none of the qualifications to manage the money of that school.... In my opinion.... Rainier Christian is a non profit I think they should put the spending budget in their newsletter and send it out. Parents have the right to see where the spending goes but when asked for it we can't seem to get it.... But my biggest problem is the fact that it's NOW a all white school..... Doesn't that seem odd maybe racist to you????? Why aren't there any black applications accepted there? I interviewed with the President Mr. Kelly last week saying I had a 10th grader I needed to enroll. I went with a friend who is gay, but you would never know it. During the interview I asked Mr. Kelly if he had any Black teachers. His response was outrages, he said, " those kinds are hard to find with an education" Then he said he had several Black teachers in Kent which is a lie. For the first time in years, they hired one this year Then he proceeded to show us the video cameras he installed himself. They record all the students and parents' conversations within several feet of them. I took pictures and there are NO signs posted that you are being recorded. PARENTS do not think any conversation is private when speaking on their premises. Mr. Kelly boasted how he goes home and at 8 p.m. when he goes to bed, he watches the cameras. He does not wait for a problem or complaint. He watches and listen to teenage girls and boys in bed at 8 pm. I wonder if Black Diamond camp that they lease from knows that ALL conversations are being recorded.... Mr. Kelly then proudly says how he is against gay people. If a teenager is gay and he said "confused" he will ask them to leave if he cannot bring them gods way. Teacher target kids, beat up their self-esteems, make up lies. every student has a right to an education, this school is the cheapest in the state for a reason. they are losing enrollment for a reason. other private schools are enrolling steadily but this one is dropping.
