Delicious! I'm from Louisiana, so I know a thing or two about raising cane's. This location definitely got it right! My friend and I took a spontaneous road trip to see the one and only BEYONCE, and had to stop for a bite. We got our food pretty quickly, the workers were nice, and also it was super clean. There may have been a bathroom issue or maybe they didn't have one, because my friend had to go to a nearby restaurant to use the restroom after we got our food. I got a 2 strip box kid's meal. Yummy and fresh. The fries were fresh, chicken hot, and bread PERFECT. Absolutely no complaints. If you're a tea person, they have sweet and unsweet tea stations (unlimited refills). This Raising Canes location is a solid choice for anyone looking to fill their bellies and make restroom pit stop. Food was served fast, the chicken was hot, and the fries were perfectly crispy! They made a mistake with our sauces for one of our three meals, but that's actually impressive since most Cane's do worse than that. We went in and they correct the mistake and gave a few extra to make us happy. Women's restroom has multiple stalls and is a bit of a squeeze. Raising Cane's was a good stop for lunch. I was immediately greeted by the cashier as soon as I walked in. I ordered a Caniac combo to share with my wife. The chicken was perfectly fried. It was moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The sauce was a perfect complement to the fried chicken. The fries and Texas toast were good and filled me. It's too bad that they don't sell individual pieces of chicken because I would've ordered an additional piece instead of eating the toast or fries. Clean restrooms too. We just stopped here passing through to Vegas and wow we had such a great visit here! The customer service was honestly the best I've ever had at a fast food spot. I was so impressed by how many times the staff checked on us and how genuinely friendly everyone was. Definitely stood out! Food was fresh and delicious as always but the staff here was absolutely fantastic. A bunch of high school sports team kids arrived at the same time as us and the line got so long but they got through it so fast and our food still arrived promptly. Great job! read more

I typically love raising canes. Nothing bad to say about the food or the service. The past few time i have been to this location in Barstow there is always a line out the door to use the restrooms. This is poor planning on building this location as most patrons eating at this location are just driving through Barstow and will need to use the restrooms . So until they can remodel the bathrooms to not only just have one person bathrooms at such a high volume location i recommend all people to eat at a different location in the Barstow area. read more

I have never seen a Raising Caines this fast. The drive thru didn't have a line out to the street any there was seating inside! What?! Am I at Caines?? Haha The food was great and quick. A good stop on the way to or from Las Vegas. Obviously there is shopping, gas, EV charging, and hotels at this Barstow stop. Inside was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. Never tried Cane's until now. At other locations, the lines are always ridiculous. It's obvious they do have a following, but is it worth the wait? A line was absent at the Barstow location so I took this opportunity to give them a try. Finally! First off, it wasn't bad nor was it ground breaking. Overrated, but not a disappointment. The batter reminded me of KFC's original recipe but lacking a few spices. It's less complex. However, I can see how it would satisfy a fried chicken craving. If someone handed this to me, I would be grateful. No doubt! Sauce is great but nothing special. Customer service is great. Their dining area looks better than the average fast food restaurant. My rating would of been higher but when I visited earlier this week to dine-in, I was very uncomfortable watching a shorter middle aged women scream/yell at an older lady employee over some hot sauce ? Is it that serious to cause a scene while people are eating and trying to enjoy their food? I don't think so. First time to a Raising Cane. This location is at a popular travel rest area which can be a gamble. The parking was easy. The drive through looked efficient with an employee outside taking orders. The restroom was small and fairly clean. Lots of seating inside and outside. We did have to look for a clean table to eat at. As for the staff, everyone was very cheerful and helpful. The manager cleared our table when we were finished, and others offered help throughout our meal. Now the chicken. We got the three piece chicken strip combo and substituted coleslaw for the Texas toast. The chicken is delicious juicy breast meat with a perfect breading. The sauce was very good as well. The coleslaw was good, not too sweet not too much vinegar. As a very picky ice tea drinker, I can definitely recommend their unsweetened ice tea. I love coming here for their chicken and their toast. I'm not a big fan of crinkle fries in general, but it actually tasted good this time around, it was perfectly cooked. I also have been wanting to come here because I wanted to get their "Caniac Club" card. Not sure exactly what you get but I think you get points. I'd have to look it up and get the details. I also wish their chicken fingers were bigger because they are so delicious and the sauce that comes with it is so yummy. The tender is always crispy and on point! The tenders might be getting smaller than usual (?), or it might be just my perception. You cannot eat this tender without its creamy, savory sauce! The fries were always good and the toast will always be my favorite. Despite the food is always good, the service is differ from one location to another a.k.a inconsistent. The service in this location is pretty good! Some of the staff were friendly and the service was quick. They're pretty good in maintaining a clean dining room condition. Always seeing people post about Cane's on social media made me sooo curious. On a recent road trip I finally saw one and took the opportunity to try it. Placed my order at the counter, waited and was curious why it wasn't just handed to me in a few moments. Then I realized that they don't have them ready sitting under a heat lamp, each or was fried to order!!! I was super excited once I noticed that. Took my food to go and when I got to my car I ripped it open to see what the hype was about. The sauce is interesting, maybe all the social media hype set my expectations was too high, it is good, but I couldn't imagine ordering a full soda cup of sauce to dip my tenders into. We ordered two boxes of 4. The chicken, fries and coleslaw were all delicious. They ran out of ketchup at the pump, but addressed it quickly. I would come back to this location.
