When we first drove by this restaurant I knew I wanted to try it. We stopped in for lunch before our long drive back to Reno and let me just say, we were not hungry on the drive back. They have a great patio seating area that is very clean and really fits the downtown Palm Springs vibes. Our waiter was great too, just super on top of everything. All of the food we had was delicious and massive. My sons mozzarella sticks had the greatest cheese pull I have ever seen and they were golden. My buffalo ranch chicken sandwich was excellent as well. Lots of thin chicken fried and piled on top of each other. My wife and mother in law both enjoyed their meals too, I helped my wife finish her BBQ chicken flatbread. This place is a real winner and I will sing its praises for years to come.

What a delicious and healthy lunch at Chicken Ranch. Really nice al fresco dining with fans and misters to cool off from these scorching summer days in the desert. They don't do reservations but our party of 4 got seated fairly quickly. Rotiserrie chicken in different ways and tons of healthy and delicious sides. For our visit, we did the BBQ chicken flatbread for starters. For mains, we did the banh mi sandwich and a side salad, half chicken with lavash bread and tomatillo sauce, macaroni and cheese, fries, green beans, and broccolini. The chicken was good and the sides were all flavorful even the broccolini and the green beans. Dishes around around $20 and sides ~ $10. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Great service. Good food.

We passed by this restaurant on our drive through Palm Springs and decided that it would be a good lunch spot before heading home. Their patio was so comfortable and had such a nice view of the main street! Our waiter was so attentive, he really took amazing care of our table! We never ran out of water and had everything very quickly. Now the food, WOAH, the portions are HUGE! This is somewhere that you can easily split! My kiddo just wanted Mozzarella Sticks and they had literally the perfect cheese pull. My mom ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and it was hot, fresh and delicious. I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza which I loved and shared with everyone and my husband had the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich, he loved it and it was a protein lovers dream! Looks a little pricy at first but the sizes really make it so worth a visit!

Tasty and fresh was the half chicken. Generous broccolini with a light glaze side. Mozzarella cheese sticks appetizer was just right with marinara dip. Service was spot on when needed. Indoor seating is limited but love the many windows to enjoy the day. Patio seating is more plentiful and a beautifully lush green place to enjoy one's meal. Water misters add to the comfort, especially when warm outside. Great food. Happy my first time and will be back for sure.

Throw-up or something right by my foot. The servers had to have walked over this at least 20 times while we were there.

To the Owner, I feel compelled to share my experience during a recent visit to your restaurant, not out of malice, but out of disappointment, especially because I've had several good experiences here before. Our server, Ty, briefly introduced himself when we first sat down, stating "I will be your server!" He asked my friend if I wanted something to drink while I was away at the restroom. Naturally, my friend wasn't sure, so he asked for water. From that point forward, Ty never returned to our table. We sat there for 10 to 15 minutes without service. This is not an exaggeration. During that time, I noticed Ty had taken orders from at least two or three other tables, yet never acknowledged us again. Eventually, a different server came over and took our order. She never introduced herself, nor did Ty ever explain that someone else would be taking over. For the most part, she seemed to be the one handling clean-up and bussing tables, not someone you'd expect to be handling table service. I ordered the Chicken Wok, which has usually been my go-to favorite dish here. Sadly, this time it was very underwhelming. There was barely any chicken in the dish, and the broccoli was so tough I had to physically pull pieces out of my mouth because they were too hard to chew. Even worse, I found a hair on one of the red bell peppers. My friend ordered a salad with dressing on the side and a side of chicken. The chicken looked like it had been boiled and dropped on the plate. It didn't appear fresh or appetizing at all. The service remained inconsistent throughout the meal. Our waitress only checked on us once, and when it came time to get the check, it took another 10 to 15 minutes even after our plates were cleared and we were clearly finished eating. I would've rated this visit even lower had it not been for the good experiences I've had in the past. But this time was a real letdown. I'm hoping the owner sees this and considers whether additional training and oversight are needed. Customers like us come back because we've had good experiences, but one visit like this can quickly change that.

If you like chicken, come here. I had the Bahn Mi Sandwich, tried the chicken soup and Tinga Tacos. Soup was a bit underseasoned but not anything else, as they were spot on!

Came for dinner. We were one of two tables dining. Most people were doing take outs. We sat outside and got the half rotisserie chicken. The chicken was really good. We also got the broccolini. The broccolini was WAY too salty. It was as if the cap fell off the sauce container. The cosmopolitan was not good. The mojito was tasty. Enjoyed the dinner and little park in the back.

Chicken Ranch is a popular spot in Downtown Palm Springs that serves up a variety of chicken dishes. I enjoyed their Fried Chicken Sandwich, but wasn't blown away as it lacked in flavor. I would've loved the sriracha aioli to be spicier.

Let me start this by saying the FOOD is great. If you're wondering about eating here by all means everything is AMAZING. This review is purely based on the service provided by an individual. Came here on a Thursday evening around 5:00 for a last dinner with my dad and bf. Wanted something on the lighter side that would still fill us without all the frills of some other Palm Springs Restaurant. The restaurant was maybe 40% filled with about 5-6 tables on the street filled but the back half completely open. When we arrived a server from inside quickly noticed us and said someone would seat us in just a moment. We weren't in a rush and in a good mood so we waited patiently till he came back and said we could choose between two tables. We chose the one in the corner furthest away from the heaters. Everything was clean and comfortable as we sat down with our menus. This is where the pleasantness stopped. First I noticed that when we tried to walk to our table the server was busy happily chatting up another table about where they were from and what not. But what strikes me as odd was that he chose to stand in the middle of the aisle blocking it completely and refused to let us by and make room. We were already half way into the dining space to the table to rather than stand awkwardly next to someone as they tried to eat their meal I slipped past squeezing next to the heater. Nothing crazy of course and expected in the narrow dining space. While we sat down and picked out our order we quickly chose some favorites. I have been here MANY times before and LOOOVE almost everything. Like I said, the FOOD is 10/10 come here and eat. When the server arrived he set down the glasses and filled them up with water before asking us if we were ready. We ordered two salads and and a sandwich and stayed with the water since we were looking to eat light. He took our menus and then was gone. I mean.. GONE... POOF We must have had the plague because this man "Keilan M" as noted on our receipt never came back until the end of the meal and that was to drop off our check with a scan to pay QR Code. Throughout our entire 45 minute meal at while we sat down I noticed how he went back multiple times to check on every single other table in the vicinity EXCEPT for ours. He happily greeted the women of 4 seated after us at the table we didn't choose. He went BACK to the couple he was originally chatting up. He check on every single other table except for us. No water refills or even a carafe left on the table. He was GONE and never even looked at us. I would have gotten better service from a unmanned Kiosk because at least I wouldn't need to tip them for this level of service. And before you come at me. We still left him a tip despite no interaction except for the mentioned ordering and drop off of the check. So to end this horrible experience I will say, I understand if someone is having an off day, and we are usually very relaxed with our expectation. HOWEVER this felt usually personal and surprising to have experienced this level of alienation from one of my favorite spots.

Had lunch today- amazing food as always! The new inside seating is great for the summer heat too- the chicken is always perfectly done and the sides are incredible... don't miss the key lime pie- I can't wait to go back!!!

This time we enjoyed the true Palm Springs, heat, sun, sassiness, and all! Back in November we ended up going to Sherman's 2 times, and we did it again last week. It was so nice, we went twice! The food is as good as it gets for NY Deli cuisine this far west. I opted for the 3 meat sandwich, I almost had to unhinge my jaw in order to take a proper bite. The sandwich was piled high with pastrami, corned beef and BBQ brisket. The rye bread was soft and delicious and absorbed the mustard and meat juices quite well. The matzoh ball soup was nostalgic, healing, and delicious all at the same time. We'll be back Sherman's -- believe it!

There are many other good options to pick from! If you end up disliking the chopped liver, I'd hate for that to ruin your experience at Sherman's. The second time I ordered: - NY Style Hot Pastrami Sandwich: This was the best thing I tried on the menu. The pastrami was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this sandwich! - Lite Lunch Special: Not all sandwiches are available for the half portion, so I would suggest clarifying with your waiter. Seared tuna on top of mixed greens with crunchy onion, tomatoes, avocados and a really delicious ginger dressing. Quite tasty. The beet salad with added chicken. Beets tossed in a mixed greens with feta and roasted chicken. That too was quite nice. Lastly the veggies burger. Simple burger Pattie with all the trimming and served with seasoned fries. Of course the truffle fries were needed which was part of the happy hour. I can truly say that this place has amazing seasoned fries that's always a must for us. We placed a large order in advanced online, ample of time for them to make. Upon arrival, our food was nowhere to be found. Apparently it was grabbed by someone else by mistake or on purpose. My question is, why does this establishment place their online and phone orders by the doorway? The orders are placed on a shelf by the door and food that have been sitting there can be taken by anyone. Supposedly, we were told that it wasn't the first time it's happened. That is has been happening lately that people have been grabbing food either by mistake or taking them. Why now are they doing anything about it? Why didn't they fix that issue when it happened the first time? This is the first time I've ever seen any food spot place togo orders by the door that way. I'm not sure if it's laziness or that's more efficient and quicker for them to get rid of the order. That's a huge problem right there. Anyone can take food by mistake or just plain steal them. This place is small. The staff should have delivery personnel come up to the register and ask for the orders. It's not that hard. All orders should be behind the counter. Apparently a delivery guy came in there and grabbed an order then proceeded to take our bag as well. It's a logistics issue that shouldn't even be a concern. They did fix the problem but we had to wait for them to remake everything all over again so we had to wait again. We the customers had to ask them to accommodate us and have them solve their problems. The staff are young people. They were nice about it but I suggest better service and be more attentive and quick. It was an $80+ order and the food was alright. Expensive and was mediocre. Need more flavor on most and the position could be better. Overall, they did fix the issue, but this place needs to do better.

The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.

Two orders of tuna tacos were brought to our table but we had only ordered one, and on the receipt they made it look as though they "comped" the second order (which was taken back once they realized we hadn't ordered it). We didn't get to order our main dishes for quite some time, and then it took ages for the dishes to come out. They were tasty, but we were getting to the point that we were ready to go home if the food didn't come out within the next few minutes. Once the mains did arrive, my friend asked if there is any rice we could order, and our waiter said yes, but they had just run out. We found this very odd - ube focaccia is one thing, but who runs out of rice? My husband ordered a beer which was never brought to him, and upon getting the bill, my friend said that we didn't receive one of our drinks. The waiter then said "yeah, I forgot about it. But don't worry, it's not on the receipt." Again, strange. Our waiter seemed very disengaged and unapologetic, which I found odd. I can understand that he was busy, but to not apologize for forgetting the drink, running out of one of our appetizers, running out of rice, and waiting a very long time for our dinner seemed strange. Plus, the food was quite expensive (and the portions were relatively small), so it felt especially bizarre that the service was so off. I wouldn't come back because of the service and the price for the portions, but the food did taste very good. I'm disappointed because I wanted to love it here!
