The Box Combo - 4 Chicken Fingers
    Kiara M.

This is a must stop every time we visit Cincinnati, We love everything about raising canes their chicken is amazing . We always get the box combo with extra cane sauce . The cane sauce is great a perfect mixture of sweet and savory . The Sweet tea and lemonade Arnold Palmer mixture is very good . I hope they bring a raising canes to Indianapolis soon it's a must have in our city .

Raising Cane's is what my teachers used to do to me back in England. Why do you think I moved to the US? It's hard not to love Raising Cane's when they sell dirt cheap gooey hot fresh fried chicken tenders until all hours of the night and they even sell them by the single tender in case you are poor or not very hungry or wanting to limit your calorie intake. Very cheap and very yum. Just a little bland for me, and I'm not a fan of corporate chains, hence the 4 instead of 5.

I wish the Slaw and Cane Sauce came in bigger cups......but the Chicken Fingers, Bread and Fries are AMAZING! It's consistent and the Calhoun Street location in the area called UC/Clifton/University/Uptown is one of the best. They handle a crowd well and the store is clean and well kept.......I love Cane's but they MUST give you more Sauce/Cole Slaw. They give you SO much chicken. Offer a smaller amount of chicken (a snack) for a lesser price or offer enough sauce to complete the entire meal but don't give people so much chicken and not enough of that amazing Cane Sauce to cover the entire meal.....it's JUST NOT KIND!!!!! LOL.......Just kidding.......keep us coming back for more....I guess. But I am NOT giving you 5 stars.....NOPE! Those tiny, plastic cups of Cane Sauce and Cole Slaw are the reason I keep coming back. Anyone can fry chicken and make me salivate but you guys have THE KEY to chicken nirvana and NOOOOOO - you dish it out in a portion cup the size of .... maybe a half dollar......unfair. I am sorry.....no 5 stars for you!

Texas toast is basically thick cut wonder bread

Very good chicken but fries just soggy and Texas toast terrible - like wonder bread. If I ever came back I'd probably just get the chicken a la cart. Literally there are only four things on the menu, I got three of them, and two are just plain bad.

It has finally happened. Raising Cane's has opened at The University Of Cincinnati and has made everyone's lives at the school. Okay, Well, I may be saying this a little dramatically but it is pretty awesome. A lot of people are pretty excited. My fiancé and I went the day the opened last week and the place was already packed in the first thirty minutes of being opened. They honestly could not have opened up at a better location in Cincinnati. They also have awesome hours for their main demographic. Sun-Wed 10:30AM-12:00AM and Thu-Sat 10:30AM-3:00AM. I don't see myself eating anywhere at 3AM but it's awesome that we have the option. Something Cincinnati doesn't have a lot of which I was spoiled by in Columbus. Late night food spots. Cane's has my favorite fast food chicken strips. They are so good. I pretty much always get "The Box Combo" Chicken, French Fries, Cane's Sauce, Texas Toast and Slaw. They also have the best Ice Tea and Sweet Tea. Cane's also does catering which looks like it would be awesome for something to pick up for a Family Reunion or your Fantasy Football draft party. Honestly, the only issue I can think about with this location is the parking and traffic if you don't live in Clifton. Mostly due to all the construction that's going on around campus. Which should all be cleared up by this fall. You can just park in either of the parking garages of both sides of Cane's and the first thirty minutes is free as well. If this is your first time trying Cane's and you live in Cincy I would suggest going to this one. The one is West Chester is pretty decent, and the one in Florence is awful. This one after going here two times now has been perfect which speaks volumes since they just opened.

When my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by such a sweet staff who immediately welcomed us in, shared their thoughts on the menu (since we were first-timers), and suggested we leave a review (they were so lovely, so how could we not!) The entire restaurant feels like the diner Sam worked at in Cinderella Story from the early 2000s - very vintage, very retro, very 50s! It's what I imagine restaurants looking like when my grandparents went on dates when they were my age. I had gotten the tofu nugs via DoorDash, which were better IRL and the milkshake was scrumptious too! My friend got the Milkman Burger, fries, and a fruity pebbles shake. It was all great but let me tell ya...we had this meal almost two weeks ago and I'm STILL dreaming of those French fries. I have had so many iterations of fried potato before...shoestring, steak, wedges, sweet potato, those made from yuca, curly, dipped in ice cream, etc. and these are the best fries I've had in my life. If I could live off the fries, I would. They were that good. I already have plans to share this place with other friends of mine as it has officially worked its way into the rotation for me!

Literally downloaded yelp to leave this review…read more I've genuinely had the best experience at this restaurant, I was walking around looking for lunch today and I had seen city bird before and even delivered a few door dashes from there. Stopped in to check it out for myself. I was instantly greeted by the lady up front. I wasn't able to get her name, she had told me but I wasn't able to get it. I asked for the 4 piece tender meal and asked for a suggestion on whether I should get them house, hot or naked. She suggested the house since it was my first time. I went to go get my drink after paying and withjn 3 minutes my food was ready. As I went to grab my food, she thanked me for my patience and handed me a free 4 piece tender meal ticket! I just want to say this place deserves all the love that I was shown and please if anyone knows the lady's name, I'll need it for the next time I stop by. She had long braided hair and a piercing in her upper lip. Eventually I made it back to Findlay market to eat my food and I don't think I've had better chicken before. It was tender, juicy, and the house sauce is to die for. The fries come with I think Parmesan cheese on them too, pretty good. I will definitely come back for my free 4 piece and it's definitely worth the price. Thank you guys so much you've made my day! :)

The chili was good, and we enjoyed finally getting to try one of Cincinnati's most iconic local foods. It's definitely a unique style of chili that's worth experiencing if you're visiting the area. When you leave, they give you one color of a long piece of wood. When you pay your bill, they exchange it for a different color to confirm you did in fact eat at Skyline. When we walked in to the restaurant, I tried to hand the person that greeted us the wood and she gave me an attitude about it. Being our first time there I had no idea when the exchange actually took place. The place was packed, but we were able to be seated right away. Our server wasn't the friendliest. She asked if we had been to Skyline before and when my daughter said "yes" she said "when why haven't you ordered" We ordered and moments later, we got our food. But it was basically thrown at us. When my daughter asked for more oyster crackers, she was told that she could get some, but if we wanted more she could buy a box at the checkout. The food itself was the awesome skyline that it always is. Great flavor, lots of cheese and all around delicious. Many servers walked past our table several times, but no one checked on us, and when we flagged someone down to ask about getting our waters refilled, she again gave us attitude and had someone else bring it over. When we checked out, I had a question about pricing on a shirt and a sticker. The person at the register was very terse and said "I don't know, why don't you look and see if it is on the item" (it wasn't). So they looked it up but weren't happy about it. They also didn't seem happy that I asked for a bag for my leftovers. The register is the magic place that you exchanged for the other color of wood. Overall, the food is the same great Skyline experience you get other places, but the service and attitudes were pretty awful.
