When I read that the Cypress Cane's location was open until 2am, 3am on weekends, I thought someone made a mistake. I guess that statement is partially true. These are their true hours. I'm the one that was mistaken. With a Caniac craving, I arrived past 9pm on a Sunday to the busiest Cane's I've ever see. The drive-thru line wrapped around the building. The parking lot remained full. The amount of vehicles circling the building hoping to find a spot caused mild traffic disturbances. Waze marked the lead in road as red for standstill traffic- okay, I'm kidding with that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Among all of this, the employees of Cane's stayed strong. Like a well oiled machine they powered through the endless line. They were efficient for sure, but I was most impressed by their care and customer service. This team is truly running like a well oiled machine. As far as the food, Cane's is Cane's. If you're new to this concept, you really only need to keep two things in mind. 1. They serve 4 main items, fried chicken tenders (yes, only tenders), crinkle fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. These 4 items are offered in a handful of variations and combinations. 2. No matter which combo tickles your pickle, enjoy it with Cane's sauce. In addition to a basic requirement for the chicken, it also pairs well with the fries, their Texas toast, and most any protein or savory bread you have lying around the house. Although the fingers have gotten considerably smaller they are still good. They advertise crispy fries but they're not. They just remodeled and it's really nice but the music is so loud I couldn't hear what the girl at the counter was saying. We come here often and even through there's been a handful of times that they mess up our order we don't complain but the one thing we hate is that they have workers outside and they just stand there waiting for us to pull up to them instead of them walking up to the cars so the line can go by faster in that case if they are just standing outside have them take orders from inside it'll be the same thing. read more

Located right next to the Premium Outlets and Costco! I think Raising Canes has good quality control overall, but some locations will be better than others. Here, my fingers and fries were cooked PERFECTLY. Crispy golden tenders, nicely fried French fries, a solid lemonade. Nothing really beats this combo... it's such a treat to experience Canes at it's peak. Clean seating inside and fast service despite a busy lunch rush. read more

We have always loved going to canes. The chicken strips have always been a good size. I have tried to go back at least three other times and on different locations, but so far they are all the same. The quality of the chicken seems to decline. Not only is the size, a very small, skinny strip, but they've also shrunk in size. I love that they are copying Chick Fil A and have people out taking orders before you get to the menu. They even accept your payment so the line that normally wraps around the building goes a whole lot faster now. The food is always hot and the chicken pieces are huge. I have never had a bad experience at any Raising Cane's location, including this one. The food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Only a few places can boast a similar track record. Chick-Fil-A is the gold standard for excellent friendly service, but Cane's isn't too far behind. read more

I love Raising Canes. They have the best chicken fingers, so juicy, tender and flavorful, yet crunchy on the outside. And of course the dipping sauce. Yum! The fries and Texas toast are pretty good too. I usually get the Caniac Combo, 6 pieces. They also have great sweet tea. read more

When it comes to chicken tenders, seriously these 5 stars are legit! Raising Cane's really is as good as it gets. $7 will get ya a box of 4 tenders, fries, coleslaw, drink and a yummy piece of texas toast! The cole slaw has a funny background taste but other than that, the "box" is a nice, cheap, and fulfilling meal. Other FF restaurants can't touch the freshness of Raising Cane's. If I want a quick dinner, this is where I go. It's worth the extra dollar or so for quality, fresh never frozen meat. If I had to feed an entire family, I'm not certain, it could get a little pricey especially if you're buying the tailgate boxes of 25/50/75/100 tenders. But one or two people, like Charlie Sheen says #winning. read more

Cane's has never been an issue. However, this particular Cane's we went to, they might need to reevaluate their customer service and training. We purchased two gallon of sweet/unsweet tea and we were told after the fact that it doesn't come with cups and we would have to purchase the cups. The manager Brittany there was very adamant about having us pay for those cups and refused to explain why. All she kept saying were, "sorry, unfortunately we can't give you cups, you'll have to buy them." I feel as a manager you should be smarter than that and make that determination on how they expect us to drink the tea. I've never been to a food establishment where you purchase a drink and you have to buy the cups separately. I'm not sure what the policy on this is or if this is a Raising Cane's policy. Tried to give this place a second chance but tonight I was reminded why this place sucks. Mask mandate has been lifted here in Texas and their dining room was open for to-go orders. Went inside to place an order to go with my mom because the drive thru was not moving and was forcefully told I need to wear a mask as the employee proceeds to slam down a box of masks on the counter. I said no thanks. She jogs to the back to get the manager as I'm completing my transaction with the cashier. Manager huffs and puffs, slings insults, then when gets called out on his behavior, claims it's a corporate policy. Won't be eating here again. Sad to say drop this bad rating because me and my family have been here so many times. The last 3-4 times the quality has gone down. Way down! Each time we go, we order the chicken to be well done/extra crispy. The last few times, it's obvious they disregard this. The crust is insanely soggy/soft and nothing like we used to get it. Again, this is unfortunate because this was a place we went to once a week. Seems like management or something has changed. Another observation is the drive thru goes extremely fast now. My first experience with this chain and it landed me a solid choice for fast food chicken tenders. Not an overly crispy skin or tough ends. That means there is a bit more full chicken pieces than breaded thickness to disguise itself. The fried are slender crinkle cut which isn't cooked to a crispness to give a snap. They are limp but seem to do the trick for the loyalists. I loved the slice of buttery toast. It was a more than typical helping of butter spread on there which allowed for more of that flavoring. It complements each bite of chicken if eaten together. You do have the option of substituting the Cole slaw or fry with an extra piece of toast or sauce. If you're hungry, choose the fry option or double fries. Lastly, the sweet tea is good for those who want less sugar and more balance. read more

Business seems to be taking off well at this new location in Cypress. Traffic in the drive thru and service inside is easy and quick. What's so special about this place? If you love chicken tenders and crinkle-cut fries. This is it. Chicken tastes fresh. Not frozen. To top it off, their Raising Cane's sauce is by far the best dipping sauce I've had. They charge you for extra sauce, btw. What else, oh their portions are huge. I couldn't finish my 3 piece. I think I'll try and opt for the kids meal next time. Cane's is known for their fresh and crispy strips. These strips were barely breaded and soggy along with cold fries and white toast... it wasn't even toasted properly. I don't know who's cooking the food in there but they need a whole new kitchen staff. I've been to this raising canes 3-4 times all at different times of the day. And let me tell you the food is never good. Definitely nothing like the Raising Canes in Louisiana. Bread is always soft, never seems toasted, and has no kind of buttery taste. Ordered our food to go and the food was great. We also ordered a gallon of tea, but it tasted bad. I called to complain to the manager about the tea we bought and she came off at me very rude. I was just calling to make a complaint, but she insisted that her tea was the best tea ever because she made it this morning and she didn't make it last night. I never mentioned anything about her making the tea last night, but she must've had some kind of guilty conscious or something. She did not offer a refund or an apology. I doubt we will be back as we don't get "up north" that often, but if we do, we're coming here! I love this place! The chicken tenders are huge! This was the day after my half marathon and I still couldn't eat everything. They did give me an extra tender, and I should have asked for extra bread instead of fries. I did give some of my fries to hubby, but I still couldn't eat them all. It's not necessarily cheap fast food, but it certainly is a great value for the price if you're starving, or think you are anyway! The place was clean and the people were friendly, although when I asked for a different cup because my top was bent and my lid wouldn't stay on, she looked at me like I was asking for a million dollars. No, I just want to take my soda to go please, and not have it all over my car. The bathrooms were clean, as well, and that's always a big plus. I swear, Raising Cane's are multiplying like Mogwai. They're popping up all over the Houston area. Everywhere I look now, there's another one. Their chicken tenders are good, tasty and moist. They are essentially, chicken tenders for adults. I always go for an extra Texas toast and their special sauce. Their sweet tea is also pretty good. The only question I have for RC's management...why use so much styrofoam? Styrofoam is used for everything in their stores. Want an extra sauce (already in its own container)? Raising cane's has my heart with chicken. Price wise it's right on, nothing too excruciating, about what I expect. I don't love that they charge for extra sauce, but it's really good sauce, maybe my favourite part. The chicken is pretty good, probably a top 10 in my overall chicken rankings. The only part that hurts them are the gristles. Why must they be in every tender? Mostly unnoticeable, but just can't seem to get past them sometimes. The fries are okay, better than most. These crinkle cut fries are usually crisp outside and fluffy inside, so that's 90% of my criterion met. And this location is always friendly, actually quite funny with their rhyming greetings. Since the dine-in restaurant is closed and only the drive-through is open, Raising Canes should lower the menu prices since customers cannot get free drink refills. I asked for an extra iced tea so I wouldn't Choke on the toast and she wanted to charge me Full price for an entirely new drink since they are not allowed to give out refills. Although I agree with not using a customer's same cup for a refill for health reasons, I do not agree with charging a customer for the full price of a new drink. The cup itself barely costs .10 cents and the restaurant is saving money by not having to change the drink boxes as often, saving on sugar, and saving on iced tea bags. This is tantamount to price gouging during this emergency. Raising Canes should only charge .10 or nothing at all for drink refills and enjoy their increased profits due to the reduction inside the restaurant. :-( read more
