I wanted to make others aware of an issue I experienced with a sandwich purchased from Jersey Mike's. While eating my sandwich, I bit into and began chewing on what appears to be a piece of plastic that was inside the food. Fortunately, I noticed it before swallowing, but it could have easily caused a choking incident. I immediately contacted the store to report the issue. Unfortunately, the employee who answered was dismissive, refused to connect me with a manager, stated the manager was 'too busy,' and said there was no email address or way to contact management directly. There was no concern shown regarding the foreign object found in the food. Because of both the food safety issue and the store's response, I am escalating this matter to Jersey Mike's corporate customer service. Second time visiting. First time was flawless. Tonight was horrible. I always asked for crispy bacon. Me being CURIOUS I asked was the bacon in The tray near the stove. I was told don't WORRY about that it'll be on my sandwich. Boy I'm not worried. I was curious. When I say the most SOGGIEST FATTEST BACON IVE EVER HAD IN MY MOUTH Lord. This made the back of my throat wet, and gagged. Bacon looked uncooked. And to think I used my points on this. Which I had to buy one to get the points. Every time I go to this Jersey Mike's, I'm happy. The service is always great. If I arrive before my subs are complete, the employees always ask if I'm so and so and let me know my subs are coming. Because the employees are awesome, the place has a light, friendly feel. The place is always quite clean and I will continue to shop at this location. read more

The Hwy 6 South location near FM529 offered great service & freshly sliced cold cuts & veggie toppings for my choice of sandwich. Sandwich was fresh & tasty. I came in to the store in a great mood and left with a bad one. I normally go to the location in Cypress on Fry Rd and they have specials from time to time, so I asked the highway 6 location worker and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. She asked her peers and only one was nice enough to say oh we don't have any specials. She proceeded to make my sandwich and when I asked for toppings she seemed annoyed. Even to say are you sure you want those items. She just had a poor attitude. I normally tip everywhere, but I did not here. This one review is tough. Love the staff. Love The food. I just wasn't sure about the fact that the sandwich was being prepared on a board raw like that. I'm used to seeing a bread being out on a piece of wrapper first, then slowly adding the ingredients , then toast or whatever. When I saw the bread and meat was being prepared on an open board that's possibly been wiped down with a rag that might have contained bacteria, I didn't feel too easy on that. I guess I didn't stop them because I've heard great things about the brand which I did really like. The staff were just doing their job so I didn't feel the need to say anything. Hopefully the company can change that in the near future ? That would be great. More sanitized. The reason why I chose this location because I personally went here. Meat & cheese were good, service was fantastic, toppings were ok, bread was no bueno. Hadn't had a JM's in a couple years since doing low carb, but was hungry, only had 10 minutes to spare on the way to the airport. Their bread was always so good, this was dry, and flavorless. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I ordered a sandwich to go and she got upset due to me not leaving a tip so she went to the back to make my sandwich and whispered/laughed to the person making my sub. This is a very good place for subs. I found the one that I ordered a bit bland. But that is a matter of personal taste. I could have easily ask them to spice it up and I am sure that they would have. Certainly worth a try. read more

This review is for the highway 6 North location only, not the company as a whole. I've been eating Jersey mikes since I was in the military when they were only on the east coast. I worked a 12-hour shift at The refinery, and haven't eaten breakfast or lunch Because work was busy. I wait all week to order from Jersey mikes and the incompetent staff gave me the wrong sandwich. Learning to follow written instructions is an elementary skill set, not sure if Jersey mikes gives a literacy test or not but they need to start. I've been a loyal customer since 2011 and this is garbage. The sandwich was soggy and the bread was hard like it had been sitting out. I ordered a #43 chipotle cheesesteak and received a Buffalo chicken steak. What I do not understand is I was the only customer in the store and the only online order at the time. A little busy today at lunchtime. Came in for two subs #5 and #17. They really tried hard but I had to wait oddly 22 minutes for my food. I watched many people come and go. One couple that walked in after me got their food, ate and left before I got my food. They seemed very stacked with orders and disorganized. Free chip and drink as a consolation for my wait. The staff and people are wonderful. But every time I order extra meat I don't get it. I tested my thoughts. I ordered extra meat and then I looked at the sandwich I thought it was small. Next time I ordered the same sandwich and ordered just a regular sandwich with no extra meat it was the same size. My hubby and I was out shopping on last Saturday. We were coming up Hwy 6 on our way home when I decided to stop at the Jersey Mike's in Copperfield for lunch. As I entered the store I was greeted by a staff of all women and 1 gentleman. The store was empty, but so clean. I was thoroughly impressed with the aestethics and friendliness of the crew. I ordered my favorite regular Philly . The sandwich was so delicious, fresh, and hot just as I like it! My compliments to the young lady who prepared my food. My family eats from Jersey mike's but I am not a sandwich person. However, decided on Saturday to see what the hype was all about. I ordered the original philly cheese steak with a wheat bun. They were out of wheat buns on a Saturday afternoon! So disappointing for a first time purchase. Anyhow, the sandwich was okay, certainly would have been better on my choice of bread. Had it not been picked up by my son, would have just canceled the order. The owness was on my son as well. He knows I order exactly what I want, no deviations. These subs are too expensive and overrated. They didn't do it for me. On top of it I bought my daughter a drink... she doesn't drink carbonated drinks and their tea machine was out. So I had to buy a $3 bottle of tea from their fridge. read more
