The food is absolutely superb. The chicken wings were super hot and fresh as was the other food that I received. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. The restaurant was very very clean, including the bathroom, which was a major plus for me. This is my first time trying this location and I will definitely be back. I love that you were able to customize your boxes. They take their time with you when placing your order. I just totally loved this visit. The coleslaw adds a great accompaniment to the chicken fingers and fries. But also one of the stars of the show was the bread and the sauce. Totally delicious.

The chicken is tender and tasty...which is what it's all about. The crinkle cut fries are bland and the Texas toast was kind of soggy. But the service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean and orderly. It's a solid option for good fried chicken fingers.

I don't have a Raising Canes where I live, so I absolutely had to stop in once I saw one. There is so much hype about this place that I had to go see if it really was worth the hype. The staff is super friendly and there's limited parking near the front door. It is located in a shopping plaza, so there is parking on the other side of the drive-thu. The best thing about Raising Cane's is the bread and sweet tea. The chicken is OK. It taste just like basic chicken tenders. There's no special seasoning or anything that would make me want to rave about it. The fries have no seasoning. You would get the same flavor and fulfillment by grabbing a bag of frozen crinkle cut fries from your local grocery store. I don't eat coleslaw so I did not partake. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried it. I may go back if I just happen to be hungry and have no particular taste for anything.

This location is pretty new to the Hampton roads area. My kid wanted to try this spot out so bad (probably from the TikTok challenge). Honestly, it would really be a solid 2/5 if you ask me. But the special sauce brought it up to 3/5. The tenders are okay at best. The are plain, unseasoned, and boring by itself. The sauce makes it taste good. The fries are boring and unseasoned as well. Again, the sauce brings life to them. The buttered Bread was delicious. They only give you a tiny container of sauce and charge you 50¢ extra for another. Trust me, you'll need another sauce! All in all, I can say I tried it... Was it worth the hype? Not really. But check it out at least once.

First time at this location and the customer service was great! Food is always good and you gotta get extra sauce with your meal because it's that good

I love love love Raising Canes. Their Hampton location has lots of parking, hot, delicious, juicy chicken, yummy toast, delicious sweet tea, and friendly staff. This is amazing. Please eat Canes. Canes is good. Canes is God. This is yummy yummy. I love the caniac combo with an extra thing of toast instead of Cole slaw. All hail Canes!

As chicken finger fans we have frequented chick-Fil-A, Zaxbys. Raising Canes in Hampton VA, recently opened and we were interested in trying Everything is new people seem pleasant. I ordered 4 orders of chicken fingers and fries for myself and my party. And they were ok. Not different. Not really remarkable. Less salt than Zaxbys.

This is the first free standing location in Hampton Roads/Coastal Virginia. It is located conveniently off of I-64 in Peninsula Town Center across the street from Walmart. Fun music and decor. Great vibe. We went on a Saturday night. Not too busy at the time. They try to keep it relatively clean, but it's a new location so they can always improve. The staff is friendly. Our order was correct. My husband ordered the 4 finger combo and I ordered the 3 finger combo, which is what I usually have. I enjoy the flavor and the dipping sauce is bettee than Zaxby's in my opinion. Fun thing is they are open on Sundays.

    First time here!

This was our first time here. We waited until the hype died down so we could enjoy it. The building was nice and clean. I realize came in around 11AM so maybe this is why it was so clean. HOWEVER! There was a sweet girl wiping each table off with Clorox wipes. I watched her use maybe one wipe per two tables. Service: no complaints. Not your average fast food banter in the background. And we were served quickly and without attitude. Food: not worth the hype. The price was fine and the options were good too. But I am glad I didn't go when they first opened. I'd like to see more variety with the dipping sauces too. I may not return unless I really had a taste for it but I am not saying others should not go. It was a cool place. Maybe good after a basketball game?

Staff friendly, food was hot, it's chicken tenders. Not something exciting but they were good. I'll come back if I'm in the area.

So - Door Dash gave me some kind of new year deal where if I tried somewhere new, I got a fairly…read moresubstantial discount. I was craving a craft burger, and I usually order those from Red Robin -- but the deal was enticing so I went ahead and decided to try Smashburger. I ordered the truffle mushroom smashburger and sweet potato waffle fries. I gotta say, for the price, it was just...eh. Edible for sure, but nothing super fabulous either. I can make a better burger in my oven at home than this was, and the sweet potato fries were okay for sure, but nothing spectacular. Delivery took a while too for some reason. I don't know that I'll revisit this place, but it was average overall for sure.

I recently tried Smashburger for the first time and cannot say enough good things about them…read more My wife and I both ordered the Smoked Brisket Bacon Smashburger. I added a side of "Smashfries" (cheese & bacon covered fries). My wife got the "Smashtots" (cheese & bacon covered tatertots). My grandson ordered the Double Truffle Mushroom Smashburger. Though it took a bit of time for our order to arrive (from what we saw, they have a hugh takeout business), it finally came out -- so hot we almost could not eat it. The Brisket Bacon Smash was enormous and incredibly favorable - a bit messy with BBQ sauce ah dripping. My grandson's Mushroom Smash was significantly smaller than ours - almost like a mini-burger - but he said it was also hot, favorable and delicious. Both the Smashtots and Smashfries truly justified the term, "loaded", being covered in bacon and almost swimming in delicious melted cheese (not the typical Cheez-Wiz dip). They have a unique selection of fountain drinks (Dragon Juice, etc.) which were not quite as good as they sounded, so I wound up sticking to the standard soda. The cost is not exorbitant but Smashburger is not cheap. Their burgers cost $10-$14, but the amount of food you get makes it feel worth the price. I compare that to another premium burger joint like Five Guys which has a similar cost for their burgers, but the value just does not feel be the same, which is why I stopped going to Five Guys. The ONLY negative about the entire visit, was that one of the persons waiting on us had dreadlocks literally down to her knees. Hair like that in a restaurant environment is always less than desirable. But it appeared well kept and so was a relatively minor issue. All in all, Smashburger is was a delightful new restaurant discovery; one which I hope to visit often.
