Sandwich combo with Texas toast and cane's sauce on the side.

Unfortunately the ice machine is broken so the staff have to give you ice when you need more. The amount of ice given is simply not enough for my drink. I filled my cup 3/4 of the way and all of the ice melted before I even finished eating by my glorious sandwich combo with Texas toast and cane's sauce on the side.

If you sign up for their Caniac Rewards they're really good about sending coupons every so often. For Mother's Day they sent a coupon for a BOGO Box Combo. We had dinner somewhere else for Mother's Day, but luckily the coupon was good for two days. We went to the University location today to get our boxes. The Box Combo with fountain drink was $12.79. It came with four pieces of chicken, fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, their sauce and fountain drink. I love their Raising Cane sauce. It's kind of resembles Thousand Island, but better. It's so good with their chicken. I'm not really fond of coleslaw. However, I do like the coleslaw from here. The toast and fries are ok. I like to wash everything down with their sweet tea. ,

I have recently started ordering on the app because it's so much easier. But remember to bring your own bag because it costs extra and trust me these containers are like takeout size. I enjoy their half unsweetened tea half lemonade. My husband likes their sweet tea which is something they also sell in gallon jugs. Their sauce is different and delicious with their fries and bread. They also have started carrying Louisiana hot sauce packets which is a great addition to southern fried chicken. We used to eat this a lot while living in South Carolina and it tastes the exactly the same in Hawaii.

Order placed online: 4-piece, sub fries for extra slaw, sub bread for small order fries, drink and a gallon tea. Order received has EXTRA fries, 1 slaw. I arrived right on time. The fries were undercooked, over half of them cold even. The chicken didn't taste fresh, or freshly made- lukewarm with no crunch, soggy. Handed me the plate, a cup, a gallon tea and didn't offer a bag- turns out they're 21 cents on a $21 order.

Always glad to have Cane's. Food was as expected and great. This location seems to put less fries than others or maybe it is something new and I'm just noticing it here first. What do you think?

There are about 800 raising cane's restaurant in the USA, therefore, we figure we gotta go try it out. They are located by the University Avenue and the corner of King Street. They do have a parking structure in the back and offer free parking on the weekend. I am not sure of the parking situation on the weekday. The restaurant has a pretty simple menu, basically it's just chicken strip and chicken strip burger. The side order comes with the meal are french fries, coleslaw and garlic bread. Most of the items comes with a soft drink or choice of unsweeten or sweetened tea. The chicken strip is just OK, nothing out of the world, the fries are not bad, however the fries in my wife's order are all very short pieces, it is like left over fried at the bottom of the stock. The burger is also chicken strip with some sauce. We are not over joy with the food, the services is on par, easy order, 5 minutes wait for my order. The place is clean with some pretty loud music. We give this place a 4 out of 10 because we prefer other type of chicken, like the one they offer at Pope.... Against, I think this is mostly personal choice of taste.

Its Canes... Slightly different from other locations in the mainland I've been to, but not bad. Price is higher, but welcome to Hawaii... Overall it's Canes...

I tried Raising Canes for the first time in Honolulu. I am pleased to say it met all my expectations and absolutely loved it. I'm a huge chicken fingers fan so I didn't think it would be hard to impress me. I also thought the Cole slaw and canes sauce just topped the meal for me. Don't get me started on the bread, I wish they gave another piece it was that good.

CODY stopped by University location for dinner CODY impressed by the spacious decor, and the disco balls CODY surprised how crowded it was for a Sunday night CODY ordered 3 finger combo CODY chicken and dipping sauce were excellent CODY Texas toast, fries and Coke were tasty CODY counter staff were friendly and speedy CODY will return to order more food

Raising canes had some good chicken and fries. The sauce you have to get a cup of the sauce to dip your chicken strips and fries in. The customer service is amazing. Lots of smiles and very friendly.

Ask the Community - Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

Is this location on door dash? The reason I am asking is because it’s reporting the location as closed but it’s open and I want to place a large order

Check on Door Dash to see... I know they're on Uber eats

Why does this listing say there is a drive thru when there is none?

Why does it say you have a drive-thru?

The Hawaii Kai location has a drive thru

    Parking? Where is the garage?

It's in the same building. Turn right after you pass the restaurant. Between that building and the small market. Don't park in the market parking lot as you will be towed away

    Is there a drive thru?

Sorry.. they don't. I believe they are on bitesquad or Uber eats. But no drive thru for now. There is another location being built in Hawaii Kai that's not attached to a…

Where is the parking location at?

Free parking within the same building. Entry is on the street between that building and the small market.

    Do the accept Bitcoin?

    Uhhhhh. No.

Can you have the toast without butter?

You can order it without butter but there might be some residue from what's on the grill itself.

Because of peanut allergies, do they cook in peanut oil?

According to their website, Raising Cane's uses an all vegetable, trans-fat free blend of soybean & canola oil for cooking all of their fried foods. Check out allergen information at http:www.raisingcanes.com

Any other sauce options available besides their special sauce?

    Louisiana hot sauce, honey mustard

Is the price reduced if you order without a drink?

Ok don't judge, but I was eating there AGAIN so I asked them and the answer is yes! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask how much because I was so excited to get you the answer!

Can we call in and just pick it up or need to order there?

I was just there and asked your question. Yes you can call orders in but they have to be at least 4 box combos or 25 tenders tailgate package.

Anyone know if they are open today? Christmas Eve?

They close at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve and close on Christmas Day.

    How's parking there? Anyone know?

There's complimentary parking in the building but it's limited.

Does this place accept credit cards or is it cash only? Edit: thanks for the answers. :)

    Accepts everything.

However, after having to abandon our original dinner plans, we were no less intrigued after randomly stumbling across this place. While they may not have been our first choice for dinner, coming here was far more appealing than eating fast food or at the nearby IHOP! Although seeing so many folks at this mini food truck park may have been what caught our attention, it was the boxes of fried chicken on nearly every table that swayed us to try Waikiki Chicken in Paradise in particular. After skimming the menu, it wasn't hard to see why they were such a popular choice - everything on it sounded great. Granted, that's not overly difficult when there are only eight items to choose from, but tough to argue with the likes of fried chicken loco moco, fried chicken curry rice, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken & croffle, and fish & chips! Since we saw how big the portion were and didn't want anything too heavy (read: sadly, no loco moco or Japanese curry), we opted to split a FRIED CHICKEN RICE PLATE ($16.95) which came with a Fried Chicken Cutlet over White Rice with Mac Salad & Green Salad. Funny enough, despite already having a sense of how much food they give, I was still surprised by the generous portion size. As for how it all tasted, this was great. The breading on the chicken reminded me of Popeye's (though, without the spice), the batter was crispy, and the chicken itself was rather moist. As for the sides, the mac salad was pretty good, but the salad was a little heavy on dressing. If there was one thing I could change about our order, I think I'd want to see how it would taste with a sauce or glaze. At the very least, I'd definitely go with a different dipping sauce, like their Pineapple Ginger, Lilikoi Mayo, or Guava BBQ, as the Honey Mustard we went with tasted a bit generic. Of course, we could've solved both problems if we had gone with the Fried Chicken Loco Moco or Fried Chicken Curry Rice instead! I guess I'll just have to wait until the next time I'm in Waikiki!

They actually cut in half 5 pieces of the Chicken Backs and each 1/2 counted as a piece of overcooked chicken jerky! I also got a 1/3 of a breast section with bones and not even a 1/2 of a thigh. That totals my 10 pieces. More bones and excess crispy flour then consumable meat. NOBODY gives a Chicken back (or 1/2 a back)! Not Popeyes, not KFC or Zippy's who will remain my Favorite because I will only get ripped off the 1st time, never again. Additionally, they make you buy the sauce, the reason is due to no seasoning on the over floured bread...but it IS Crispy! The Chicken tenders were overcooked and REALLY Chewy around the edges. Just a LOT of breaded Crispy with no flavor, what "Chef" doesn't even use salt? Really, if you're going to risk testing this food, PAY for some sauce! I hope the Owner reads this and realizes that ripping people off by selling broken pieces that most Chef's throw away because they have so little meat on them, isn't going to keep him in business. The profit margin may be up while folks are trying it, spending their hard earn $$$'s, yet not coming back will be the ultimate demise of this business as many other have come and gone doing the exact same thing, not putting themselves in he patron's position. Be sure to call ahead, it usually takes ~30 min per order if you call. Takeout only. Service is very polite. Parking is tough because of the area but there are a few spots out front, would generally recommend calling ahead so parking is less stressful. Their menu was a little confusing to me so here is some explanation: K pop chicken- boneless chicken pieces K chicken wings- flats and drumettes (the two parts of a larger chicken wing) K chicken tenders- boneless tenders only K crispy chicken- full wings, thighs, and breast pieces They offer each of these items as a plate lunch too, with a smaller portion of chicken that comes with rice and salad. I personally like the K chicken wings for the variety and higher meat to skin ratio but my husband really likes the K chicken wings. The skin is shatteringly crispy and flavorful and the meat is juicy. Their honey shoyu sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and salty. You can also request the sauce on the side. I've also had the fried rice which was decent and generously portioned. We once had a complimentary house salad given to us which was unexpected kindness. Overall they do a great job serving up a delicious craveable food that keeps us coming back!

It's been a few years since I've gone to a Jolly Bee and I had imagined the spaghetti to only be sweet and savory. It was actually pretty good! (Not in an Italian way though. (There isn't a 3-piece combo on the menu, but the server was kind enough to accommodate my request for an extra piece of chicken.) It came with a container of gravy that made me wonder what it was for, immediately.
